In ott, people can skip, play, pause or do anything they like - if they feel lag about something they can skip. But there are people out there enjoying the director's vision a lot. And by that way the director can also be honest to his work and put up whatever vision he had without thinking about the producer.

I don't know, I liked leo 2nd time than the 1st time.. It made more sense and some dialogues meant something when I watched it again.. also I feel like I need to watch 3rd time to understand some of the theories
The movie was really good, never followed the over-hyped train of LCU. I really kept my expectations grounded and even for the LCU connection I was hoping for a minor role to play and that's what Lokesh cooked up, a solid story to present the character before establishing into a hopefully larger LCU if needed. If you went with over the head expectations then you might really miss the character arc he tried to pull off. Remember for Marvel's Endgame to happen it started with 1 solo movie then iron out other solo characters to fit in to the plot and larger MCU, and all of those movies have a background of comics, loki is trying to fit in a whole universe using his own plan and vision. Just enjoy the movie and let the man cook up other movies in his vision. If you need a movie based on your own opinion and idea, then do a own movie, let him execute his vision.

Biggest plus and minus of this movie is that it requires multiple rewatch. Already watched it three times and each time I enjoy it more the previous watch. Vijay fans will enjoy it in the first watch itself, for others it may work in rewatch.
I am absolutely don’t regret to say I am a Loki fan. As a Vijay fan, Leo is what I wanted to see thalapathy as. Now Next Thalaivar movie will be his best yet. Leo is actually decent movie. Well it gets better in rewatch. That subtle expression of Vijay sitting numb in the cafe while his kid was dancing - and the same expression when watching Antony das walking out of the cafe - yea very minor details and probably nothing in the grant scheme of things - however - it just counts in a rewatch and makes it nice

Nice characterisation for Leo in LCU. There is Vikram and Dilli on one end and Rolex&co on one end. It’s only Leo that’s on the gray line. Possibly Amar will be Leo’s accomplice. Leo will be the vital cog in the LCU.
In 300 movie, there will be wolf fight in the beginning. In Leo he has tried it differently. In both the movies the scene is to showcase the character or the Lead
A good question comes up with a good answer. You questioned well him rest assured everything has done in a well manner.Each question you put up in front of him is a ppl question wanted to ask to loki.
To keep it simple, first half looked like a loki's movie and second half as a typical vijay's film. This didnt look like a 100% loki's movie. He has compromised to cater vijay's fans with song, fight with 50 to 100 men and predictable scenes in the 2nd half. He didnt give a strong arc for both the antagonist as he didnt want another bhavani scenario as in master where the villain dominated the hero with his character and power. Obviously loki cant say this explicitly. Could have removed the flashback portion as he did in kaithi which would have the audinece intrugued more than an unture flashback. Dilli's character is still revered by the audience due to the fact we dont know his past.
I think only leo will be alive at the end of LCU...he will join vikram's team to kill Rolex and other bad guys...then he will kill Vikram and other good guys to keep his identity a secret😂

Baradwaj was open about the fact that the film didn't work for him. Does that have any role in Lokesh's selection of interviews? And for someone who directed Kaithi, Leo is a big let down. I am a big big fan of his Kaithi and Managaram. And antha ranking compare pannina Leo is nowhere. And from Lokesh, definitely he will be compared with these works as he proved set his benchmark really high
I wish that atleast one interviewer is upfront and says the second half didnt really work for many and the flaws in the narration and fake flashback isnt really justifying anything and any reason for him wasting Sanjay dutt and Arjun sir is not justifying too! We went in as a Loki fan, we dont want him to do such mediocre and cliche things in his movie! Let him take as much as time he wants, but let it be his film 100%. You know why Vetri Maran and Thyagaraja Kumaraja respected more and has a cult following! Becoz they never wanna compromise on their craft for budgets, stars or release dates. Especially after them becoming famous, they were strong on their demands. Lokesh had all the space to make this film convincingly and demand all that he wanted. But he chose to rush with a half baked product, lets accept that and hope he realises it too.

Loki na...I'm a huuuuge Thalapathy fan, but you don't have to go out ou your way to satisfy us fans. We too have become tired of illogical flying stunts and all. So please stick to your style. A song in the movie is ok. But that smuggling fight scene was very weak compared to all the other fights. I don't think any good Thalapathy fan will want to see that same old over the top exaggerated style. Not just that, you also have a fan base, who expect a leve of realism from your movies. That's the core reason people are liking your film. So kindly stick to that. No need for seperate fan service...a good movie in your vision itself if a treat for us fans...

If you say it's 100% Lokesh Movie, it should be 100%. Hope you get these criticisms rightly and work on it.
Nice characterisation for Leo in LCU. There is Vikram and Dilli on one end and Rolex&co on one end. It’s only Leo that’s on the gray line. Possibly Amar will be Leo’s accomplice. Leo will be the vital cog in the LCU.

To keep it simple, first half looked like a loki's movie and second half as a typical vijay's film. This didnt look like a 100% loki's movie. He has compromised to cater vijay's fans with song, fight with 50 to 100 men and predictable scenes in the 2nd half. He didnt give a strong arc for both the antagonist as he didnt want another bhavani scenario as in master where the villain dominated the hero with his character and power. Obviously loki cant say this explicitly. Could have removed the flashback portion as he did in kaithi which would have the audinece intrugued more than an unture flashback. Dilli's character is still revered by the audience due to the fact we dont know his past.
I think only leo will be alive at the end of LCU...he will join vikram's team to kill Rolex and other bad guys...then he will kill Vikram and other good guys to keep his identity a secret😂

I wish that atleast one interviewer is upfront and says the second half didnt really work for many and the flaws in the narration and fake flashback isnt really justifying anything and any reason for him wasting Sanjay dutt and Arjun sir is not justifying too! We went in as a Loki fan, we dont want him to do such mediocre and cliche things in his movie! Let him take as much as time he wants, but let it be his film 100%. You know why Vetri Maran and Thyagaraja Kumaraja respected more and has a cult following! Becoz they never wanna compromise on their craft for budgets, stars or release dates. Especially after them becoming famous, they were strong on their demands. Lokesh had all the space to make this film convincingly and demand all that he wanted. But he chose to rush with a half baked product, lets accept that and hope he realises it too.

First of all a big salute for Dir.Loki .. giving such a big breakdown with his interview,,it's very long interview around 1.5 hrs..he doesnt need to explain such briefly about the storyline...but here wats going wrong is people's mindset towards actor Vijay orelse their expectation of lokis previous films orelse the way audience watched..is totally wrong...in my POV. first of all expectation based on one film with other film is totally wrong,and viewers not mindset about the actor & some fake reviews.these are the main reason why leo film is looking like average for some audience may b other actors fan or neutral fans..if this film released with small actors or new face actors may b it comes under positive talks..& it may full full their expectations...so pls watch the films with ur own perception...& first of all don't compare the previous films ...if u start compare,ur mindset towards the good film is also converted as bad film or average film.
