I'm a 33-year-old guy from Sri Lanka who couldn't continue in filmmaking and writing due to my family commitments. I made two short films with the help of my talented friends back in 2015, but now the situation has changed. Loved this interview very much. In fact, better than any of Lokesh's interviews released today. BR never asks stupid questions like vijay kuda nadicha anupavam sollunga, biriyani pudikuma,salna pudikuma😮💨. He directs his questions mostly about movie work and people's insights and that makes it more enjoyable.

Exactly. I usually cringe at some of the questions being asked because of how stupid and unoriginal they are.
BR, however, asks interesting questions, doesn't fawn over the stars or the director and most importantly, keeps it like a conversation between two people and allows the guest to talk about their thought process, practical factors in film making, what inspired them etc.
That makes for a really good video.

What I like about Lokesh is he is a guy who genuinely praises the other technicians who are part of his crew rather than portraying as if he is the One. He comes across as truly honest and genuinely humble guy.Not once do you get an impression he is arrogant.Also he is so clear about what he is supposed to do,expectations from producer etc.

I love Bhardwaj and all his interviews. Pure passion for Cinema. Hats off. Especially when it is with people like Lokesh, it only gets better.
The reason why a lot of people liked this video is because this, unlike every other interview, was about Lokesh and not Vijay. It was about Lokesh's method and process towards making movies like Leo and not about what the story of Leo is. It was about how Lokesh wants to make different genres outside the current Universe instead of which celebrity cameos are going to make Leo fit in with his existing and admittedly exciting universe.
One refreshing fact was how honest both BR and LK were with where we stand in terms of action and stunts, it's important to acknowledge that our safety gears/equipments and also the lack of training for our actors to know how to do action and stunts rivaling hollywood. Hope this doesn't end up with fans creating ruckus over whether or not Lokesh called out our stars for not being good at stunts. We need more actors like Vidyut Jamwal, training regularly to do their stunts, to get good stories and technicians for us to take our action to next level. We also need more money and time to be spent on the safety of our stuntmen/stuntwomen.
