As a kid I got so ungodly good at the level I could basically perfect the board portion every time. Why did I do this? Because City Escape was the easiest level to get the unicorn Chao animal on. I'm telling you this because a part of me hopes that if I keep mentioning how much I absolutely loved the Chao Garden, Sonic Team will bring it back.

Well this just became much more relevant.
"I couldn't steer the board very well, and I ran into a car..." to be honest that's how it is for me everytime I play city escape. Also the music being louder then the sound effects is pretty much how loud the music is in that game.
I found it particularly loud in the cutscenes, where it often drowns out the dialogue. Shame there's no native volume settings.
@@DrRank This is an issue with all ports starting with the Xbox 360 Arcade release. The Dreamcast and Gamecube do not have this problem. It's pathetic that Sega still hasn't fixed this after all these years.
As a kid I got so ungodly good at the level I could basically perfect the board portion every time. Why did I do this? Because City Escape was the easiest level to get the unicorn Chao animal on.
I'm telling you this because a part of me hopes that if I keep mentioning how much I absolutely loved the Chao Garden, Sonic Team will bring it back.
@@JohnDoe11VII It's loud on the gamecube too. Made dialogue hard to hear and speaking lines often overlapped too so people would be talking at the same time making it even harder to follow. Thank god for the subtitles.
