Like, sure, he did have some preparation with the Hero story, but to make something that is now immortalized as a mainstay of meme culture in a single take... that gets mad props from me.
Not to mention, the plot is completely improvised. He most likely had no idea (Chase or Ryan I can't remember who voices Shadow in these) was going to say that he pissed on Eggman's wife.

I was never into Sonic. I never played the games & still know very little about it & it's lore. But after watching these dubs, it really got me interested in Sonic & now it's another one added to my list of games I wish I grew up with. I know I would've loved Sonic as a kid. I recently rewatched the dubs and found myself binging Sonic videos & googling stuff about it. I'm falling in love with these characters now all because of these dubs. It's awesome!
