I interviewed with her and others at CPMC Sutter when I was applying for residency in psychiatry last year. She was really smug and I hated the interview.
Nurse Jacobsen's (actress who played the patient) acting was magnificent! One thing I noticed nurse Ames did incorrectly was not disposing the probe cover after taking the patient's temperature. He replaced the probe immediately back in the thermometer with the probe cover still on.
I politely disagree with the statements that "agitation" has to do with irritability or aggressiveness. It is referring to psychomotor agitation, as it describes fidgetyness, restlessness in the CIWA description....not mood, as in irritability or agitation related to being easily angered.
I would also like to receive permission to use the CIWA portion of this video for some in-house training on accurately using the CIWA scale, with credit to CPMCSutterPsychiatry, of course! Is that allowed?
OMG! Great dramatization of the classic CIWA >15, this is beyond the talk and fluffy stage, she needs a benzodiazepine before she completely flips out and injures herself or staff.
Give this woman an Oscar

She missed her calling as an actress for sure.
Excellent acting and explanation.
