    Thank you for this, you opened my mind to the Tier 3 countries, which I was not thinking of, including targeting just the genre interest to keep it broad and open. So far, my ads have been doing super great with .0003 to .0006 cost per engagement, but haven't converted well going from instagram to spotify yet, but you have just helped me see the light with something. The craziest thing is some of my dance videos have 100k to 400k views. Now I can try targeting as you did.
    I will check out your other videos. Awesome job on this one.

    • @zmanzbrah

      I was promoting my song. If a person clicks on the listen now button on ad, they are then taken to the landing page first. (landing page has many different streaming platforms where they can choose from) then they are taken to the song.

    Hey, congrats on getting to DW! Your experience seems to be in line with most people, which is that you need about 10,000 streams in 28 days to make it happen.
    I'm kinda questioning the basic premise of your video though - you show that you got 256 conversions on your ad. If we make some generous assumptions that all of them became listeners and then listened at your average rate (2.5 streams per listener) then your ads only account for about 650 streams in all. So it's definitely helping, but maybe only a little. What I'm more interested in is how did you grow a big enough active listener base to get those numbers without playlists? That is definitely the real trick.

    • @zmanzbrah
      @zmanzbrah  3 месяца назад +2

      The purpose and premise of the video is to show that running an ad whether it's $10 a day to $1 a day you can get results and sometimes you get surprised with an algo boost as I did with just running a $1 a day ad. And running this ad had everything to do with getting a boost (not little) if I wasn't promoting my song no one would've heard of it, that's the truth. You keep the ad on it will listeners/streams will compound over time, just keep it on. Results will rise. Simple as that.

      @@equalisationmusic Yes, it is possible, I was shocked too. But you have to listen to what I am saying. Hi! Great video! Have you tried making ads while increasing the cost every day? For example, starting at $1 on the first day, then $2 on the second day, $3 on the third day, and so on until you reach $10. This might make the algorithm think the song is more interesting to more people and trigger the Spotify algorithm to push the track. I'm sure you test many things, so I'm curious if you've tried this approach! 😊

      Hi, thank you. I have yet to try to start a lower budget then increase higher. This technique would work if you already had a successful ad in the past that you turned off and then decided to turn on again. But usually I do the opposite, start higher and then decrease the budget. I don't recommend trying this unless you've had a successful ad in the past.

      Yes, I mention in this ad it is a tier 3 campaign (tier1-3) In the beginning when I first released the song I targeted tier 2 (1-2 countries), but ever since I kept it in the idle mode of $1 a day I have had it set to tier 3. I have noticed I have been getting results via ads manager and Spotify so I keep it on and I am still getting discovery weekly pushes to this date since making the video. Ultimately, if you are getting good results in Spotify (playlist ads, saves, streams ,etc) then that is your indicator things are solid.

      You are going to send them to a website. And yes a landing page because you need to have it integrated with your fb pixel so you can see the data. You could just put a Spotify link but then you would have no data on how the ad would be performing.

    • @Dakkyboi
      @Dakkyboi 6 месяцев назад +3

      Another reason you wouldn't want to send traffic directly to a spotify page is because landing pages help filter out bots. Once a bot reaches your landing page, they will have no idea what to do and won't do any actions that count as conversions. If you you send straight to a spotify page you can't track the data and Facebook will just keep pushing your ad to more and more bots because they are simply opening your spotify link (not listening to your music), therefore the Facebook algorithm thinks the ad is doing great with that demographic

    I was hoping you'd show the countries that clicked on it a lot. You say it's Tier 3, but it looks like you also included Tier 1 & 2 countries. Does it mean the ads were only going to Tier 3 countries? Can you name 3 countries that worked best for this?
    Thank you

    • @zmanzbrah
      @zmanzbrah  6 месяцев назад +2

      Hi, yeah what I mean when I say tier 3 it's all the countries combined 3,2 and 1 tiers, my apologies if that was confusing. Usually when you have tier 3 you won't get much adspend toward tier 1 and 2 because countries like Mexico, Colombia will suck up most of the budget.
      Here is the top 10 countries From highest Amount spent to lowest:
      Mexico 54 results, CPR: .15 amount spent (AS) $8.22
      Argentina: 45 results. CPR .13 AS $5.68
      Colombia: 27 results, CPR .17 AS $4.56
      South Africa: 25 results CPR .17 AS $4.16
      Brazil: 18 results CPR .17 AS $3.13
      Chile: 9 results, CPR .31 AS $2.78
      Turkey: 7 results, CPR .26 AS $1.79
      Hungary: 5 results CPR .26 AS $1.31
      Bulgaria: 4 results CPR .26 AS $1.05
      Romania: 7 results CPR .14 AS $1.00

      It could be anything, so many variables, could be the country list, could be the song, could be the ad visual you are using, could be your targeting demographic, anything you just have to experiment, wait, be patient and see if any results come in, if none then start making some minor changes

      He gave it the boost for the algorithm to kick in. He actually likely will make his money back now that Spotify algorithmic streams are going to continue to drive him streams with ads no longer running. This is something that people do not get. I made over 15 grand on a 1500 ad because the algo took over after I gave it the boost.
