Don't do traffic campaigns, I repeat don't do traffic. Engagement is your best option, I am unsure why you do not have listen now. You must follow through the steps. On the Ad Set Name page, make sure you put "website" in for the conversion option and also for conversion event "view content" then "listen now" should be available.

Want to ask also, would Performance Goals "maximise number of landing page views" be alright? Cause Im unable to set up a pixel on my Linktree at the moment, and so I wanted to send ppl directly to my Spotify page as the destination link

You're welcome! Sometimes there is no real explanation, I don't know how it got it, but the conversion is really low and I am getting a good amount of traffic with it on, so I never turn it off. The song is still getting Discovery Weekly boosts

You could do linktree I have seen people use that, as long it has the pixel integration you are good, so you can see the results on the fb end. pixel and landing page are integrated, use landing page as the listen now link for your ad

Using the Pixel's website as the band general Linktree and then using a different website in the ad campaign which would be the streaming/Spotify link, would be an affective way to run the campaign? Lamen's terms might be beneficial here haha. Would hate to be misinforming the ad's progression but messing up the pixel in the beginning.

Are there other ways to promote besides facebook ads that are just as effective ? , I think spotify has their own promotion you can pay for too.

I recommend google ads is the best for YT growth / views. A lot of my music videos have gotten views over a long period of time but most go to a streaming service to listen to rather then YT.

It could be anything, without someone looking at the ad and your ads manger to see what is going on, it could be anything, not one thing or the other.

I recommend at least 250=300, if you have a larger budget 500-1000 depending how well the song performs.

@@zmanzbrah ya , so I ran about five campaigns+ and without fail, I get 20 plays across the board of all of my songs for the first day and then the rest of the campaign I get zero streams no matter what. For my latest campaign I’m at 400 conversions and zero streams.

Hey Marc. I would always spend more in the first days and weeks of a new release. But I would recommend saving a bit more money for you release 200-300$ if you can, if not it can make it very difficult to optimize your results unless you nail it right out of the gates with the targeting and the ads. For mini pop index, it is hard to say, I have seen them below 15 and even 10% for RR. it's crazy sometimes but yet again it is what who you are targeting and if you can nail it. The algo is unpredictable. Bu running ads will give you some sort of chance, nothing is a guarantee. I hope that helps a little, good luck with the releases

There are 5 of you that have the same issue, but could be 5 different things. Many variables that it could be. If you it is a new account and you start targeting tier 3 country list this can happen. I recommend targeting tier 1 on a new account and pixel for a little bit, so Facebook can recognize a high quality listener it may be a bit more expensive in the beginning, but it is what you need to do if you aren't getting any clicks. Then after you get some clicks and then you can target tier 3. But again, 5 different people, can be 5 different things, I would not know unless I was looking at your account.

No, do not create a new pixel. Use the same pixel for all your music ads. Think of it the pixel like a cloud of information. The more you use the pixel the more the cloud has more information, therefore making it easier to run ads because of all the information it has gathered over time. Starting fresh with a new pixel you have no data/info, the cloud would be empty therefore, you would be starting all over again and again each time and you don't want that.
