- The Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 is a very light jet developed by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer, type certificate is EMB-500.[4] As of April 2017, 350 were in service in 37 countries.
In April 2005 Embraer's board of directors approved the development of very light and light jets. On November 9, the company announced at the annual NBAA convention that the very light jet would be called the Phenom 100, it also displayed a full-scale mock-up of the aircraft.
The Cessna CitationJet/M2/CJ series (Model 525) are light business jets part of the Cessna Citation family, built by the Cessna Aircraft Company. Its variants are marketed under the CJ, CJ1, CJ1+, M2, CJ2, CJ2+, CJ3, CJ3+, CJ4 and CJ4+ names. As of June 2017, 2,000 have been delivered with five million hours flown

It is not about buying a jet, the real expense begins when you start owning a jet.
Just being qualified to fly someone else's jet isn't exactly cheap
@@PabloGonzalez-hv3td No,Pablo,it's not expensive...and it's very easy to obtain license...in fact after is necessary to pilot for hundred hours as a solo pilot to reacg a good skill in flight !
@@maurizioy7266 - To be qualified to commercially fly anything requires a commercial pilot's license and that isn't cheap anymore than a university education is cheap. To fly a jet requires an additional type rating that also isn't cheap.
You can technically fly a small business jet with only a private license, instrument rating and likely a multi engine rating but you have to buy your own jet because you can't fly commercially.
@Toneri Ōtsutsuki - I've never purchased a plane and I don't know your build capabilities but unless I was absolutely sure I could properly build a kit in a timely manner I would buy built I've read a stat that a large percentage of kit planes aren't built by the original owner that's the last thing you want to have to sell because you're in over your head. The good thing is that in 2019 practically anything is available for sale already built.
@Toneri Ōtsutsuki - If I were to buy a plane right now I would go used experimental or light sport or even a nice updated 150 there's plenty to choose from overall I wouldn't mess with anything new kit or otherwise
The Phenom is by far the. best looking of them. Great ramp presence.

The cirrus is a unique design that's for sure
I like it because it's a single engine, with a wingspan that'll fit in your average hanger .. and a 2000 foot takeoff, means it could base out of tons more airports than the other jets
Two engines are nice, fuel/insurance/maintenance are. .well, not easy to stomach

The Cirrus cockpit is clearly design to be flied by the jet’s owner... it resembles a luxury car cockpit.

A ownership is a ownership. Most will get cheaper because Honda is in private jet space with complete electronics TV dashboard. Regular season engines. Single maintenance is easy though commercial is far fetched. Maintenance is the lowest or no need. Low level flights easy. Air traffic control is through WiFi. A cellphone base station.

Maybe we can buy it, but can we maintain it? They haven't include the expenses of monthly fuel, monthly services, spare-parts, license and etc. That's a long list of things you need to do when you own one.

Anyone can afford the plane. It’s the annual or hourly maintenance cost. You need to have an annual income of 2x the annual maintenance cost or 2500 per flight hour in reserve
