Many people regard Return of The Jedi as the weakest in the Original Trilogy, but Obi-Wan’s conversation with Luke on Dagobah is my absolute favorite with the iconic Jedi Master! That scene is forever (and gratefully) burned into my brain. Even as a nine year old seeing for the first time on the big screen, I felt the weight on Luke’s shoulders: Yoda’s death, his inevitable confrontation with his father and the confirmation of Luke’s true lineage. But, despite his skewing of certain aspects of his former Padawan’s past, it’s Obi-Wan’s words of wisdom and warning that stick with me the most: “You cannot escape your destiny. You must face Darth Vader again.” “Your insight serves you well. Bury your feelings deep down, Luke. They do you credit, but they could be made to serve The Emperor.” I give a lot of credit to Ewan McGregor for trying his best to emulate the Legendary Sir Alec Guinness’ portrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi. But nothing compares to the literal Knight himself!
In Attack of the Clones when Obi Wan is shackled to the column on Geonosis,I laugh when he says "good job" to Anakin coming to his rescue. 😂🤣 I think the only thing I am not crazy about is when Obi allowed Vader to kill him.
Obi Wan Kenobi is one of the most iconic Star Wars characters of all time . ” Hello There ” ” You can’t win Darth . If you strike me down i shall become more powerful than you can possible imagine ” Those are one of my favorite lines from Obi Wan.
Iconic line and scene, though he actually wasn't supposed to die in A New Hope. They changed the script though because of the actor's thoughts of the story and they decided kill him off instead.
and they extended the "high ground" quote to old ben kenobi in ep4 of the lego skywalker saga, ben says on the death star "we must get to higher ground"
i always loved looking back at that time Vader's looking up at Luke when look challenged him, he was above him on that platform thing and Vader said "Obi Wan has trained you well." also funny enough the high ground is only a advantage for range combat.
Obi-Wan Kenobi never turned evil. Because he's got a strong heart. He may have had everything taken from him. But his strong heart is the only thing that can't be taken from him.
Obi-Wan is such a beautiful character who has suffered so much tragedy in his life. He is kind, compassionate, and wise. But he is also funny, heart broken inside, and just a human in the end. He is my favorite character and has been for years. I'm so excited for his show as I look up to Obi-Wan for so much! He is in fact my hero and inspiration ❤️
The man who showed us that Anakin simply wasn’t strong enough. Kenobi arguably lost and went through a lot more and still didn’t fall to the Dark Side. I’m sure they’re gonna try and change that in the new series, but perhaps not. Even if it seems that he fights in a more uncivilized manner.
@@willfanofmanyii3751 nah man Anakin had a choice he chose to go with the darkside hence (Darth Vader) while obi did lose everything including his apprentice Anakin knowing his own apprentice killed those younglings sure Anakin also lost everything he chose the way of the darkside those were his consequences for doing so obi never turned which is why obi is strong cause his heart never changes no matter who he watched die including his loved ones
My favorite sad moment is when he's on that ledge overlooking Anakin and says: You were my brother Anakin, I loved you. Mostly because it brings me to tears no matter how many times I watch it... sorry I just shed a few typing this.
Hyped for the Obi-Wan series especially since we'll be following Obi-Wan's adventures during his self-imposed exile and Darth Vader's early years after gaining his cybernetic prosthetics, and iconic suit and helmet.
I heard rumors about Obi falling in love. I just didn't know the extent of it. Anyway when it was put together like this by having all of his loved ones gone. He suffered quite a bit.
Forgot to mention aside from Anakin losing his mother and the fear of losing Pad-May, the fact that the jedi council refused to listen to him and Ahsoka when she was accused of murder which ended her leaving the order all together which made Anakin have an increasing resentment to the jedi.

I had hope knowing Dave Filoni was to helm Clone Wars Season 7. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni clearly know what they’re doing and have brought new generations of fans into a series I’ve loved for so long, seeing Ewan and Hayden together once more actually makes me emotional and I feel like Lucasfilm have done so much better with the anthology movies and spin off series (yes including Book Of Boba) and I can’t wait for midnight tonight, it’s going to be a ride and a spectacle. ❤️❤️

That’s what we all want. But it seems unlikely to happen at this point. However, it’s confirmed that there will be guests in the Show, so he might come back but just with his voice talking to Obi wan, and not actually appearing.
He was also capable of using telekinesis to push or levitate objects,[24] or to crush them, as seen when he destroyed two commando droids to recover his lightsaber after a difficult hand-to-hand fight with Darts D'Nar.[121] He would also use the Force to augment his natural leaping ability. His ability to use the Force push technique was exceptional, as he was able to use it to blast back General Grievous dozens of meters with a single push during their duel. A short time later, he was even able to hold off a Force blast from Anakin Skywalker during their duel, though after a short time the resulting telekinetic struggle launched both of them across a room.[11] Prior to his exile on Tatooine, Yoda instructed him on how to communicate his late master, Qui-Gon Jinn, who was unable to visibly manifest as a spirit due to his incomplete training under the Force Priestesses. However, his final victory may have been helped by Grievous' fresh injuries, which would have hampered the cyborg's fighting abilities.[11] Although Kenobi usually used only one lightsaber, he also seemed to have been well-versed in the art of Jar'Kai, which was perhaps most prominently displayed during his duel with Maul and Savage Opress, in which he wielded both his own lightsaber and the blade of the slain Adi Gallia. His mastery of dual-blade combat allowed him to hold his own against both the Sith brothers, and he even managed to break Opress's left knee and sever his left arm. The duel ultimately ended as a stalemate when an angered Maul used his Force powers to briefly incapacitate Kenobi, giving the brothers time to escape STARWARS.FANDOM

It'll probably end in a stalemate or another victory for Obi-Wan as during Vader's early years he was still afraid of his former master.
Besides when Kenobi says “Hello there,” the final fight between Maul and Kenobi in Star Wars Rebels is my favorite thing about Kenobi
