Are there any unnecessary household items that I missed? Let me know of any other areas in the comments! Love you guys! ✨

It makes sense to keep 1 dress, but beyond that seems unnecessary unless you love dresses and wear dresses (I hate dresses so I keep 1 so I don't have to shop for one last minute).

I only collect which i do use every day are the plastic bags, only because we use them as kitchen and bedroom garbage bags. I dont purposely go out to stores and ask for plastic bags when purchasing something, they tend to just come in to the house automatically so i dont waste anything, i use the plastic bags for garbage

Omg yes! I’ve decluttered old mail, old magasines and recipe cards etc (whatever i really want such as the recipes i take pictures of them and then discard the items). I’ve decluttered vhs and dvd which i ended up selling them all

After I decluttered a few years back, I declutterd so many storage boxes/containers/bags. I was amazed by how many storage boxes i did not need in my life anymore, really satisfying actually!

I have managed to declutter 90% of my belongings the only part i am still struggling with is my clothes I have managed to cut down my 9 (small door) wardrobe to a 4.5 door! Still a way to go but that half of my clothing gone!

It is definitely a long process at least for me it is, to get rid of everything in my closet. It has taken me months! Just to get my month to a point where I can finally take everything out, be pretty sure that most of those things I actually DO use and actually decide what I am going to keep or not, everything else I got rid of little by little and it was even more it did not even fit my closet anymore. So yeah... it takes a LONG while to get everything in check :P I guess best advice is don't get discouraged if you don't see a difference immediately after starting to reorganize, donate, and clean up your closet. Keep doing it for a while and you will see the difference sooner or later :)

Great video! I would add partially used personal care and makeup products that you know you are never going to use, sheets and towels that you've already upgraded, and plastic cups and utensils.

What I do with excess plastic bags is I donate them to my local small thrift store. They take them and reuse them when they sell things.

I use empty bags and boxes to take my donations to their destination. Boxes are great for the heavier items like dishes, glasses, etc.

I like to put coupons, magazines, and things from the mail on my side table and then I'll go through them when something simple is on in the background on my laptop. If there's a recipe or something, I will either put it into a notebook I keep or snap a photo of it and upload to Pinterest. I'm guilty of keeping the cards but I am also one of those people who go back through them every few months. Agree on mismatched socks except the ones meant to be that way (I design socks and have several that customers have requested to be mismatched). But for ones not intentional I like to keep them in a laundry basket and then when I get all of my laundry done I will try to match them and if I never find them, I get rid of them.
Hoping to do the VHS/cassette tapes once I can digitize (all home movie/family members on cassette tape) but they really do take up a lot of space. I got rid of most of my music CDs after saving them to my computer. I decided to only physically keep the ones that meant a lot to me. Guilty of product manuals so I should probably go through those except maybe complicated stuff like my vacuum, which I have referred to.
Plastic bags definitely multiply. I like them for wastebasket trash bags but I'll usually take excess back to the store to be recycled. Trying to move more toward the resusable bags.
So agree on the chipped plates/cups. I've never had much trouble getting rid of these. Definitely need to be decluttering storage boxes. I had a period in my life where I bought a lot of them, especially decorative ones and moving them all has shown me the light! Currently going through them now.

Great point about greeting cards, usually I look at 5 cards and best out of 5 gets purchased for my loved one. I hate giving cards, it's so wasteful but I have people I love who really like getting them and would get hurt if I didn't send one. I found a charity shop that sells cute vintage ones for like 25 cents and they at least have some history and are so cute. I never save my cards and asked local family members to not give me cards. I still accept cards from distant loved ones, though, but don't save them longer than a month.

Supposedly the socks get stuck inside the dryer itself if you opened it up you'd see lots of lent and socks ect.
