USB wifi/bluetooth are ok for casual usage but it doesn't have the necessary hardware and instead uses software (LMAO) hence why it's known to be not reliable. Best to use PCIE AX210 wifi+bluetooth then pair it with antenna for reliability and it'll have no issues even if you plug in multiple devices (k&m&headset+gamepad) + get 1gbps speed. These PCEI expansion cards are kinda useless unless your motherboard doesn't have m2 slot. Hope this is helpful for anyone who might stumble upon this comment.

I have tried a couple of cards from TP-Link. Both were crap. I just avoid TP-Link now. Yes, they will connect to the router but that's it. From then on expect intermittent internet and unreliable operation.
These pcie expansion cards are unnecessary. Just bought a AX210 for my motherboard because I want to use gamepad for gaming and I also want to connect my k&m&headset. It can easily reach 1gbps speed and it's more reliable than the higher end usb dongles. Those are garbage because they lack the necessary hardware and they uses software which then can have issues.

TP-Link's have a bad design. They have heat sinks but the chip itself still has the paper label on it and no thermal pad. There is hardly any heat transfer. Those chips get really hot and burn up over time. You have to remove the label and glue from the chip and apply thermal paste or a pad
Any card you can recommend? I’ve always used my PC with Ethernet but recently moved and will be using wifi for now. I find it wild how crappy the market for these cards seems. For 1d10t5s that can't plug in an ethernet cable. Sadly, that's the main reason I have to install these in PCs.... I just want to face palm. Plug in an ethernet cable to your router and into youur PC, people, it's not that hard. You can get or make them in any length. And there's a good reason to... to not cut your bandwidth in half or worse. use wifi for handhelds only.
