You left off all the elderly and my favorite the 20 to 30 year old male drunk drivers . In my experience for bad crashes you can't beat the stupidity of male drivers . They are the bulk of my rollovers , off road crashes and serious MVA's with injuries .
Jordan Carmichael i once saw a van full of japanese students (fwd and none spoke english) they got half a car length on the beach and sunk(soft sand here) and then just kept flooring it on and off for ten minutes while sticking their hand under the spinning tire to add sand and sweatshirts. I imagine a hefty fine for no 4wd, no required equipment and no beach permit
+Wolfhound Yay that and $1.10 gets yo a cup of coffee . Thank you for watching I love making the youtube vids but having others enjoy them is the icing on the cake
@@Uizzj they try to do everything, but they arent really good at anything to be honest. They arent good offroasers, sports cars, they dont have the best ride etc.
When I was young, I had a real Jeep, and used to drive on the beach all the time. I also had a Toyota truck, and drove it on the beach too. Don't think I ever got stuck. Now I drive a Rav4. It's a great car for the snow, but there's no way I would drive it on a beach. I know my limits. It's 17 years old and has been super reliable, but it's not an off-roader like my Jeep was.
bro, drive it on the beach! I have a 2001 rav4 and it loves the beach! Mine is gutted and has a few power adders but nothing major, the older rav's are pretty damn capable. I go to a spot here in Australia called "Double Island Point" and it's notorious for destroying vehicles but it's pretty common to see older rav's out there. I've seen newer models out there but they are usually being snatched out of the sand..
Omg that was insane! A whole new respect for you sir! Wow I cant believe how smooth and unscathed that went! Good job! I bet the owners were more than happy to pay that bill instead of the total loss!
+MetaView7 Will never know . They didn't speak english . I did talk to there daughter though via cell phone . She translated for me . I do not think the couple realized how close to dying they were . If they had made an attempt to get to shore the outcome would have been disastrous . There daughter was a great deal of help . I hope that there insurance company will pay for a portion of the tow as we saved the car from being a total losss . It was in the surf but never got over the bottom of the rims . Another hour and the water would have pushed the car up onto the rocks and the waves would have been 4 to 5 feet deep where they were parked
He did do damage lol thats why he fast forward the part where the rear end was going to hit the rock as it falls down. Ya he skipped that so hes not liable for damage haha
Great job guys and not surprising, those peninsula boys know their stuff. I grew up there and am very familiar with Beards Hollow. I used to fish there with my dad, made a killing on Sea Perch. Thanks guys, keep up the good work, hope to come back some day.
Awesome job. Many. You know your stuff. Saved that guys car. I got stuck in a lake bed in Tennessee in the winter. 2001 Ford Expedition. My truck was sunk down on one side. But the suction was so bad that it took him two times to pull me out. He used the hydraulics of the flat bed to lift me up and out. I learned my lesson.
Wow, that turned a really shit day into a good one for them. Thats an expensive lesson that they didn't have to learn thanks to you and your crew George.
man you are really professional you did what you can to avoid the damage i guess most tow driver would just drag it over without paying all the attention great job!!!
Exactly, he could've easily left it there and made more money for the recovery after the tide went back down but he didn't. Worst of all are the idiots in the comments trying to say he damaged it during the cur scenes. They're the reason why a lot of guys would've left it there until after the tide got it. More money for a bigger job and less headaches from the peanut gallery.
Iv'e never watched recoveries before but my own the next day after too many beers.Iv'e watched a few of yours now and like them and find them intersting. From a man in England.25th Agust 2018.
Huge credit to you, you clearly know what you're doing. A good entertaining video with a splash of drama, unlike the clickbait shite posted by so many.
Nice job! I used to drive out on the beach at Grayland, but always stayed far from the surf. I don't think I've ever been there without seeing someone get stuck in a vehicle that had no business driving in the sand.
I have never subscribed to a towing channel but at the beginning I saw 5t tires on your tow truck and instantly subscribed so I can find you vid on your truck
Wow. I just googled Beards Hollow and realized I was right there where this tow happened maybe 5 yrs ago. We drove down the beach to that area but I had no idea what it was called. Just looked up pictures and have pics of that exact spot you towed this vehicle through at high tide with waves crashing through it. Amazing. Also memorable for seeing two rotting seal carcasses along the beach. ha.
How do you rock crawl with a Rav4? Use a tow truck and winch it. Ever since that Honda Fit commercial came out showing the Fit going "off road", people think their cars are ready for the Lion's back.
hi ....what a great vid ....has it all ...adventure excitement..and suspense.... most of your vids have that ...keep up the good work thanks mickey miner
+David Sonnen Taylor first comment when we got on scene was Threading the needle . It would have been a lot more difficult if I hadn't had help . Taylor setting the emergency brake and holding the brakes made the recovery a lot easier . If I had been by myself it would have been a much harder recovery .
I've been doing recovery work for over forty seven year so it takes a lot to impress me. Your beach recovery of the Rav-4 did that. Excellent work.
Randy Purtteman couldn't agree more,
Amazing job guys, well done!! 😶

Most off roading that RAV4 has ever done
most SUV owners don't offroad. that's why i don't understand why everybody is buying them
