Whisky.com reviews the Bladnoch Vinaya. Bladnoch Vinaya is a bottling in memory of the founders of the distillery, which has existed since 1814. The distillery was shut down for a while. But 2015 saw the start of a new era of production with the master distiller Nick Savage. The Bladnoch team shows their gratitude for this with this whiskey, because Vinaya is Sanskrit for 'respect' or 'gratitude'.

Thanks for the review and perfect pronunciation of Vinaya!
Look foward to trying this - the 10 year old is one of my absolute favourites.
Will it be released in Sweden?
@@whatever2506 we hope so! It will be submitted to the Systembolaget
haha, glad you joined the CHAT!! So correct pronunciation is "blad- noo- rh"?

@@Whiskycom Thank You from Argentina!
Excellent review
Have you got your hands on Chivas Regal The Icon?
Looks like you're doing some old fashioned illicit distilling in your living room Horst!
Vinaya is not gaelic at all. It's actually sanskrit.
VinayaK; lord Ganesh! Lord of Happiness & remover of obstacles.
Having one with you right now, Raising my glass with many in honour to our late Queen Elizabeth😥
I need someone to educate me here. How does one get green apple, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla, and fruit flavors out of new make and charred wood?
Dude that’s what I’m saying lol, this shit has to be made up to the utmost
I got pineapple, burnt rubber, cat piss and limp penis flavors.
I'm drinking it now and I'm legit saying I can taste apples and the finish is chocolate. I cannot believe it. Taste amazing 👌
This whisky is impossible to find
It's only been launched a couple of months ago - and the first run sold out faster than we thought. More on its way to our distributors around the world though 🥃
Try Master of Malt
Nice review Horst, keep telling that whisky’s should be unchilfiltered and uncoloured… to bad this is a no age statement.. so i will not buy it, but bladnoch has released a lot of single casks lately with good quality whisky’s
Ive hear the scots pronounce it with a "h" (as in hot) sound in the end
The things he says he’s tasting has to be cap
The bladnoch 10 is the only whiskey I have ever hated. Smells and taste of baby vomit or stinky cheese. So I avoid bladnoch sadly
Sorry to hear that - this Vinaya has a completely unique selection of casks from the 10yo, perhaps you will like this expression.
@@bladnochdistillery1619 Vinaya it is.
