  • PALESTINIAN ARABIC EXPRESSIONS - TOP 5 WAYS TO ANSWER "HOW ARE YOU"!
These expressions are used by most Arabs and in the majority of the arab countries. These are the most common ways of answering somebody who is asking us " How are you". I tried to include also one negative answer even though we arabs tend to always answer with synonyms of "I'm fine".

      Hi:)
I live in Germany too but I'll answer you in English, so that anyone can understand:)
Here are some points by which you can regognize Palestinian. I am Lebanese and so it's easy for me, someone from Morocco would probably think that Lebanese and Palestinian sound the same.
      So here we go.
      Features of Palestinian:
First, you must distinguish between urban and rural dialects.
The urban ones come close to Lebanese while the rural ones are closer to Iraqi and sometimes even Gulf Arabic.
      urban dialects:
      The qaf ق becomes a hamza ء
      rural:
the qaf becomes a "g" like in English word "game".
      Common features.
Palestinian is somewhat in between Lebanese/Syrian and Egyptian. So it has features of both.
with Egyptian, it shares the following:
short u stays u like in nuss نص
in Lebanese and Gulf Arabic short u almost always becomes i.
      "niss".
or "I said" in Lebanese: ana ilit
in Palestinian and egyptian: ana ult
(attention: rural palestinian would we gult or more often gilt).
What you hear often is the typical negation with ma -sh.
      example: fi means "there is".
in most dialects ma fi means "there is not".
in palestinian and egyptian they say
      ma feesh.
now you might think that egyptian and palestinian can be confused.
      no they can t.
      egyptian has special vocabulary like
      'aayez (i want).
palestinians vocab is more closer to Lebanese.
      I want is "baddi".
SOMETIMES you here something which is also present in Gulf dialects.
      antini = give me
(in Lebanese it's 3atini or hat)
Gulf has all: anti, 3ati and hat for "give".
So I hope that was not to confusing.

      @@omarabdulrahman4335
Yes, pronounciation is also a big factor (like I said, either short u or i) in قلت لك
Besides it's Banaduura in Lebanese and Bandora in Palestinian:)

I like Christian Palestinians or any other good natured non-terrorist Palestinian. Palestine is a tribe but never a country throughout the whole history. Only the ancient greeks and Roman Empire called it Palestine after attacking and occupying the Israel. To respect everyone, I call it the Holy Land and not Israel till the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Yeah because Jesus surely will side with the colonialist Jews who have nothing to do with Palestine other than history.
