Well yes but Aishah did say "ghalat" is a noun, which it isn't. It's an adjective just like in Arabic. "Ghalati" is the noun. You cannot DO a "ghalat," you can BE "ghalat." You do a "ghalati."
All Arabs are aware of fusha, however because of the lack of practice, it becomes difficult to speak it on a daily basis. Arabic lessons in school are taught in fusha, so it’s absurd of you to suggest they’re unaware of it. However, MOST, if not ALL Arabs don’t use fusha. We have different dialects, fusha is in the hikayat (stories) news reports, official things, books, etc.. Normally, speaking to one another, we use dialects. This girl though is remarkably intelligent, and undeniably smart. But for you to say most Arabs know only dialect, is completely wrong. And when you said ‘speak’ I’m assuming you meant ‘know.’ Because she doesn’t speak fusha, she knows fusha.
Youmna Ahmouch Know as in speak? Correct, not all Arabs speak fusha- in fact I mentioned that before. But there is no Arab that is not aware of the existence of fusha, because it is THE original form of Arabic. Taught everywhere, widely used in stories and almost in every Arabic country. Arabs know it unless you’re talking about newborns, then of course; but that would be absurd to suggest.

This is my most favourite video from your channel by far. Thank you so much! And in Urdu we too say سہل for easy, منظم for organized and عالیہ or عالی for something high.
Word عالیہ is generally used as adjective suffix for something very high like عدالتِ عالیہ, دولتِ عالیہ عثمانیہ, دربارِ عالیہ , بلدیہِ عالیہ etc ... While for something of more higher proportion or prestige the word عظمیٰ is used ... This is defacto usage

There's something about Meena aside from her knowledge and beauty that really impresses me. I think it's her confidence, style and the way she presents herself.
Love from a Jewish person to our Arabs cousins ( We are all descendants of Abraham ) and we share a lot of things in common than you think even our genes I hope one day we live together as old days without borders. Thank you Bahador to bring people closer.
The centuries-long coexistence unfortunately ended when a certain man named Herzl brought his ideas to mankind and poisoned the well forever. Zionism and coexistence contradict each other. Please don't get me wrong. I wish for nothing more than peaceful coexistence. This conflict has twice caused me to leave my homeland. However, I am a realist and therefore have no great hopes. Meanwhile I am firmly convinced that what was taken by force can only be brought back by force.
i love how Aisha is so elegant and well put together, not just in her mannerism also her clothes and dress sense. i have noticed this in all of her videos.
I'm Kashmiri, I got all the words , they exist in Kashmiri as well. I understood the arabic and urdu connotations as well; both languages are used in Kashmir, but urdu is popular , Arabic is used particularly for religious purposes.
Malay also use the same word Nuqta - Noktah (full stop) Khedmat - Khidmat Ghalat - Ralat Khas- Khas (exactly the same) Qabul - Kabul Atar - Minyak (oil) Atar Musafir - Musafir
@SoWa I get your point now.. many turks and Persians think they're better than arabs in some way and their language is therefore superior (of course). But others are not so hateful, probably that's why
When Mina asked if “ghalat” is a noun, I think Ayesha got confused, and understandably so. Ayesha was right the first time she explained it. “Ghalat” means wrong or incorrect, so it is an adjective. “Ghalatee” is the noun, which means mistake or fault.
satoshi2oll Yes you are spot on about my confusion there, thank you for understanding it so well! 😀 I was still thinking there about how I explained 'ghalat' vs. 'ghalati' and then hearing the Arabic versions led to some of my confusion and mix-up with respect to nouns vs. adjectives.
That's interesting, whenever i heard Urdu speakers say مشكل I always assumed it meant "problem" the same as Arabic. We say صعب for difficult. The meaning is still kinda in the same area, but interesting to see how meanings evolve. ...Great video as always, it would be great to see the uncut conversations between the people in separate videos, i'm imagining some great conversations between the guests/hosts

My focus have been on english all this life. Now I'm 36 and feel like I should learn eastern languages now. Thank you so much for bringing up this series. All the best ...
I hope many people know that Urdu is a combination/mixture/blend/fusion/compound of three major languages Turkish, Persian and Arabic. Recently, I visited Turkey and I spent most of my time in Istanbul, I can't explain the happiness that I understand quite a lot of words of their language (Turkish) which is more sweeter than "Baklava". What I realized at the end of my trip "Turkey is a lovely place of beautiful people". If I have to choose one thing from Turkey, I'll go with their Music, goodness me how melodious and soothing is that.
Urdu is not a "mixture/combination/blend/fusion/compound" of Turkish, Persian and Arabic. You're talking as if you can take languages and blend them in a juicer-mixer. 😂 Urdu is essentially a North Indic dialect with a higher vocabulary of nouns (only) from Arabized Persian. Its verbs, pronouns and postpositions are all of Indic origin.
As everyone mentioned already, the Iraqi girl is intelligent and has a very good grasp in Arabic and explaining it. 6:35 انقلاب can also mean a coup (coup d'état).
Wow I loved it.. Arabic and urdu are actually very similar, I was able to guess every word said in urdu , they even have close pronounciation, that was interesting, and the guests were very nice and funny ❤

Nice job ! I too feel urdu and arabic are similar. May Allah SWT allow us to find such relations making our understanding of the Arabic language easier. Cos I think Arabic is amazing.
I stumbled upon this video purely by chance. My native language is, well, Hindustani - basically both Hindi and Urdu (although the script we learn is Devanagari, and not Nastaliq). It was incredible to realise that apparently I have some Arabic vocabulary too, as part of the Urdu that we speak. Ayesha also has some Hindi (Sanskrit root) vocabulary too, in "bahut" and "sona". This was a lovely video. I'll go through the others too. Thank you for making this.

I started learning Urdu in 2016, and don’t regret it one bit. It’s such a beautiful language to learn. I can also understand Hindi completely fine as the 2 languages are mutually intelligible
You can really see the difference on how the languages are similar but also very different in some aspects. Like we share a lot of the same words but they are all almost pronounced differently, yet we still have a lot in common. I always found Arabic as such a beautiful language and I wish I could learn it someday. Arabic pronunciations are also very difficult compared to how us Pakistanis pronounce our words, but then again they might just think the same way, that maybe they find it as hard as we find it difficult to pronounce their words. But then again I just love the way Arabic is structured and how the words flow through sentences so easily, it really shows that Arabic is truly a beautiful language.
Finally my wait is over. I have literally waiting for Urdu and Arabic I'm Pashtun/Pakhtoon/Afghani from KPK province Pakistan. My native language is Pashto (official language of Afghanistan and provincial language of Pakistan). I can read/write/speak Urdu and English (official languages of Pakistan) and Hindko (which is mostly spoken in Hazara division of KPK province, Pakistan) and obviously I can read/understand Arabic but can't write it. Furthermore I'm learning Russian and Surprised when I came to know the similarities between Russian and Pashto. Your videos inspires me to learn Persian because of native Pashto speaker (and knowledge of Arabic because they both share script and huge vocabulary) I can mostly understand Persian. Ayesha is doing great job and I love the accent of Meena, she is very talented. We want to see meena in more Arabic videos. Thank you Bahador for bringing me more closer to these languages. PS: btw meena means love in Pashto.
It's good to know the similarities between some words from these two languages. Having grown up in the middle East it was kinda easy to figure out what the iraqi girl was saying. Didn't have to worry about urdu at all. However a Very informative video. Iraqi women are beautiful no doubt this young lady is a whole package beauty plus intelligence. She definitely knew about nouns and verbs. Keep it up.
This was the most awaited one sofar. Short thou could have been longer. Make two teams Farsi, Urdu and Arabic, Hebrew and then conpete. Anyway Ayesha you rocked once again. Cheers from Pakistan.

'ghalati' and then hearing the Arabic versions led to some of my confusion and mix-up with respect to nouns vs. adjectives.

Been waiting for Arabic / Urdu video for a while! This was extremely interesting..
Urdu is essentially a North Indic dialect with a higher vocabulary of nouns (only) from Arabized Persian. Its verbs, pronouns and postpositions are all of Indic origin.
