hey i have a question maybe you can help..i hope lol..well we have same mower it cut grass 2 weeks ago..have replaced the carburetor..new stop cable..also..was running great..if i buy gas at gas station it will start right away but will stop after a minute..is it the water in the gas?? im going try a can 4cycle from store..but it will start everytime run for minuite and die
I've got one of these and the carb was leaking, so I thought I would just get a gasket kit and get it all cleaned up. then I found out entire new carbs are like 19 bucks on Amazon
I found a aftermarket carb on Ebay a few days ago for maybe $10.89 plus tax with free shipping, and that kit included 1 metal carb, 1 breather filter, 1 primer bulb, 1 spark plug, carb gasket and carb o-ring seal. Don't know if it will last, but my original carb was shot and clogged so bad with dried gas, that it couldn't be cleaned out.
A guy i bought a pushmower frame from, gave me a Tecumseh engine that was bolted to it. I just recently started using the Tecumseh engine after sitting many years and its not too bad, but the biggest problem is setting the idle speed and governor spring , so the engine will run properly, and not too fast. Personally, i like older B&S engines best with the carb that sits bolted on top of the gas tank, those B&S engines are the best, in my opinion.
Had 3 Tecumseh Vector carbs that the throttle plates were sticking on. Ended up taking the plates off and sanding the plate edges down.

What model? Toro LV195EA w/Tecumseh engine?
Model 20005 Toro probably. The Tecumseh engine yes.
A lot of engine models, versions, pieces, etc. Sometime there is a scrambled when must to make a repair.
6.5 hp power?

@@flutetubamorg you can go with that but I've found them to be hit and miss if they work.
