      @@OverkillSimulations Havent ordered the Moza MA3X yet due to my biggest concern, the right hand configuration. How bad is it would you say using your left hand. it seem in your video its not that terrible? I will need too mount it on my left side since I have my Honeycomb Bravo on the right side. Wait for a left version or go with the right, thats the question :)

    It's a great start. Not sure if it's ready though. Most people who have reviewed this have said the software is still very much in the beginning stages. And well.. the base is nothing without the software that drive it. I would wait until ti's more complete before spending 600 USD on this.

      It has seen a number of improvements since the launch. This is my second coverage of it and you’re correct. That is why I waited so long for another one. Definitely very noticeable change :)

    For those of us not using rudder pedals, there seems to be no twist of the grip so would MSFS auto rudder sync well with this system?

    Many Thanks OK! Although @1:48 I am sure there will be another video out regarding this "Sidekick" :p haha anyway, we all know what you meant. I also mistakenly mention specific words when i talk type :P 100% on this vid though.. I am an airbus Flyer (if infrequent) I just wonder how this stick may perform with Mil aircraft though o.O? Take care brother!

    Logitech had force feedback 25 years ago and it didn’t cot me over $1000. I appreciate the development these companies do and I appreciate the reviews but this is getting out of hand. I’ll invest in my real airplane at these prices… I think some reviewers who are given these units are forgetting what it’s like to shell out this kind of money. “YOU NEED THIS” “UNBOX THIS” “GET THIS NOW” “NOW IS THE TIME” “I’M EXCITED” “LOOK AT THAT!” Seriously, thanks for the review but it’s just getting too expensive

    • @Five-OSimmer
      @Five-OSimmer 3 месяца назад +1

      then don't buy it, comparing technology and prices from 25 years ago to today is dumb

    • @DGColin
      @DGColin 3 месяца назад

      @@Five-OSimmer Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to get one and I agree with you, technology is way better today. My point is that there are a ton of reviewers talking about how great it is but where are the ones who have to add that to their cart, put their own money on the line, and then make the purchase? Those are the ones I want to hear from whether it’s worth it or not. So far the only reason NOT to buy it I hear is that it MIGHT not be perfect yet. How about because it’s over $1000? …But I won’t be able to resist and I’ll end up with one one day. lol.

    Great video! I just got my AB9 base and unpacked and set it up. I upgraded the firmware and set the cockpit software to telemetry and checked the calibration. All worked fine in the Moza cockpit software. BUT… when I used the pre configured Cessna 172 for MSFS I get no response of any kind from the base. No elevator or axis movements, no FFB. On the Home Screen of the cockpit software to the right it says that MSFS2020 is configured but I never set an install path. Is that why it’s not working in the simulator? Their documentation and support is somewhat lacking so I thought I’d ask you. What am I doing wrong to get my base to work in the sim? -please advise if you are able. Do I need to set a path and if so…to where? Much thanks and again one of the better videos out there! Greg

      I haven’t yet tried it but I found out that I need to create an AB9 tab in the MSFS control section and support sent me a photo. I need to enable control surfaces settings, brakes, and power management settings. What are yours in the control settings if I may ask? Cheers! Greg

      @@gregh335 Let me know if it works for you. In the controls section I had two tabs, one of which I used to set up the elevator axis and the aileron axis. That solved my issue. Thanks!

    Just upgraded my CPU, and I was very excited to play again, expecting gains compared to my previous one. That part didn’t disappoint-going from the 5900X to the 7950X3D. However, after I installed the MOZA cockpit and launched the simulator, the base went berserk with vibrations and noises.
    When I got into the plane, I finally realised that, in the last month or so, I hadn’t really experienced true force feedback. Suddenly, I could feel everything-the trimming was finally noticeable, and I was getting that amazing feedback. After flying without any specific purpose for about 10 minutes, I returned to the main menu, and once again, the base was vibrating and making noises like crazy.
    I started to worry, so I turned off the simulator and launched it again, but the problem persisted. I reset Windows 11, but now I can no longer get any telemetry service running. I tried re-launching it directly from the MOZA cockpit folder under the MFS folder, but something that worked in the past no longer works.
    I have no feedback at all now. I’ve tried reinstalling everything, resetting the base, and launching it when Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was already running (as I saw suggested somewhere), but none of these solutions worked.
    I was really hoping to spend my days off enjoying the simulator, but unfortunately, nothing is working. I’ve spent hours trying to fix it.
    Does anyone have a solution? I’ve submitted a support ticket, but I don’t expect an answer until after New Year. Those 10 minutes I experienced were the best I’ve ever had in a flight simulator. Please help me get back to that.
    Thank you, and by the way, great video!
