The chorus of this song is so fucking addictive. I especially love the way they come in on the AND instead of the ONE of the measure. Little fake outs like that always feel good.
Oli getting back into his heavy vocals makes me happy. I've been a fan since early days. Hopefully his voice is doing well now. He ruptured a vocal cord a while back.
You should really learn about the lore and listen to the entire album. It is such a journey and experience especially given the context of how everything fits together. A true piece of art (yes it's a concept album)
GrEAt reaction as always. ❤ this wasn't very basey. So don't think it's your ears. Unless it's mine too. I'm not a young en either. The weird writing is a code linked to the lore behind it all, I think.. think the whole story, well i hope it's released as a game or movie, once all the post human album's are out. Or I'm hoping. Love this song, the hyperpop breakdown is something else. Love it.
Most of the other songs on the album have a lot more plays on Spotify, but this is HANDS DOWN my favorite song on it! Also, I know pretty decent amount about music, but I’m not a music major or a producer. I love hearing the kinds of things you pick up from your reactions!
You should check out Acid Bath sometime. An old metal band from New Orleans in the early 90s. Their label never allowed the music to be put up on RUclips but some guy made a mockup of the album cover with a slightly different name and slightly different song names and it’s never been taken down. Look up Placid Rat- Feline Extermination Rat Tricks. Song list is in the comments Bleed Me an Ocean (titled Bleed Me a Cheese Wheel in the comments ) is a great one. Just a suggestion
I'm in my late 40's and love this band. Adult angst is a real thing. Middle aged shit like regrets in life, life not going the way you thought it would, job stress, family stress, divorces, watching your folks get older. And as men, no one gives a f_ck about how we're feeling. Teens don't have a monopoly on angst.
you should listen to Sleep Token’s musics, they’re soooo deeep!! some things you can’t even understand without thinking about it for a while and the instrumentals are UNIQUE.
Hey Geebz, hope you’re well! You should definitely do a vid on a Hiatus Kaiyote tune. They’re from Melbourne, make incredibly lush and harmoniously rich music, and have started putting out songs for a new album. Here is a live version of an older song: ruclips.net/video/p-e6-jjbrs0/видео.htmlsi=NRkB78yyMGfzQXXh
Oof, have tried getting into Bring Me The Horizon a few times, and I think it’s time to give up. The cleans are just not my thing unfortunately, and things are a little too squeaky clean for my tastes. Cheers to folks that like it though, good reaction.
Try there is a hell, suicide seasons and count your blessings. Their early discography is a lot more raw and almost no cleans in anything pre-sempiternal. That’s what I started with years ago, wasn’t a fan of the clean singing and turned away from the band for a while. They won me back over with post human and I’ve been obsessed since lol
awesome, thanks for the suggestions - I’ll definitely check it out. I experienced something similar with Loathe, couldn’t find a way in. I mentioned it on one of Geebz’s reactions to loathe and got a comment like yours. I still bang some of the loathe songs daily more than a year after o got the suggestions. Thanks!
i really love dig it, though it would be a lot more replayable if it didnt have the intro and outro, even tho it works well if you just listen to the album.
You would LOVE the sound design and production of “DIg It” off of this album.
He really got to react to Dig It
it‘s really a masterpiece

One of the best songs of the album!

So cool they are one of your top 5 bands! BMTH is my all time favorite and I can't stop listening to the new album.
Your analysis is S-Tier!
Absolutely love this song and this record!
My favorite band 😍🤘🏼🔥
Great album, thanx for showing me the layers of music
Getting a bit of Periphery's 'catch fire' in that chorus

This is the catchiest song I’ve heard all year. It’s so good
My album of the year ❤

dare i say that it’s the only song that can put up a real fight with liMOusIne for best on the album?
