I would of hoped on any version, but according to my dealer not even the GT-Line has a heat pump. Its a bit of a shame. I think KIA think all of Australia is like Queensland temperature - wise and decided not to include it on the Australian EV5. I just refuse to buy an EV that does not have a heat pump.
@jiamingtan1119 great questions, there is nothing specific listed in the specifications so I have reached out to Kia product planning to get confirmation. Will report back.
No, it's not worth the extra if you live in the UK. All you get that's of any value is the HVAC heater. For that, you're then over £40k, so are slammed for the Luxury Car Vehicle Excise Duty.
I know someone who ordered this back in November and was supposed to take delivery over a week ago but Kia is messing around, the car is here but can't be delivered for some BS reason, they're ready to cancel their order and get something else
There is no reason we are aware of that cars that have arrived in Australia are being delayed - we would recommend speaking to their selling dealer for more information.
@EzyStyles there are a couple of option available on a ship at the moment but feel free to each out to us directly at kia@adrianbrien.com.au and we will be able to give you some more specific information!
@@AdrianBrienAutomotive Hi thank you for your response. I am actually based in Melbourne and have contacted the local Kia's. So far, no one in Victoria can give me a time frame even though I am a serious buyer. I was surprised seeing this video of the GT-Line in Australia but too bad you guys are based in SA...
@@EzyStylesIf you would consider purchasing interstate then we are happy to truck your new EV5 to you. If you want to discuss how this works, then you can contact Adam directly at 0416 586 698
Hi @rayf9194, we agree pricing is certainly important, a quick web results search seem to suggest a similar price point. If they are the same price, which way would you go?
@@AdrianBrienAutomotive ground clearance is a big issue with our challenging driveway, if the EV5 has no issue and the Sealion 7 has then it's the EV5 for us. Another big factor is the support and service network of Kia Australia wide and the fact the EV5 has been tuned for our roads. I can't really say for sure which way I would go as the Sealion 7 isn't available for a test drive yet.
@rayf9194if you haven't test driven the EV5 and are in South Australia please feel free to reach out and we would love you to test our demonstrator up your driveway! Either way let us know which way you decide to go.
Thank you for the comment, we mainly do these videos for education, we are lucky at Adrian Brien Automotive to be surrounded by brand new cars and want to share them with anyone who wants to watch. Secondly we are very interested in what you think - Adam has the EV6 GT-Line RWD at the moment so we think he would go GT-Line again but you’re welcome in store to ask him the question direct!

Beautiful vehicle!
We agree!
Already ordered the gt in tide blue. Other than the wait from November till possibly late march definitely worth it
@philbrunner5801 we can assure you it is worth the wait - you are going to love it in the Tide Blue!
@AdrianBrienAutomotive test drove the earth model and luved it also. The price difference on novated lease was a no brainer to goto gt.
Is a heat pump included in the GT-Line?

That’s very interesting to hear the difference in the UK model specifications and pricing. Thanks for sharing!

How is the stock level on the GT-Line in Australia? I know Earth/Air is widely available. Is there a waiting period if so, how long?

I like the space in the EV5, but waiting to see what the BYD Sealion 7 pricing will be before I go ahead with an order.

Ooo Tesla fanboy getting worried?
Yes

한국산이 그렇게 저렴한 차는 없다.
How much is the EV5 in Korea?
Or just get a Tesla.
Or a kia
Kia is better
Why does the color grading look like a low budget horror movie?
Glad the artistic experiment didn’t go unnoticed. Maybe next time I’ll aim for a rom-com look😂
