@harrietgracemartinez9380 nope. I took mine to the dealer and they just confirmed everything I already told them. They had no update or fix for the issue. I was charged 180 for the tech time still. My fix is just a cheap bluetooth radio adaptor for the cigarette lighter port. I did finally just order a new receiver/screen for it though.

I picked up today at 2019 Honda accord LX the only way we could get the numbers to work from my phone which to actually put them in to the vehicle menu. I kept telling them that does not sound right, if my phone is paired to the vehicle the vehicle should be able to access my contacts that’s being able to make a call. But they were telling me I actually had to put them in. Do you happen to have another video that’s a little bit more extensive about this
If your make a call button does nothing when pressed and If your phone button on the top right of the screen also does nothing when you press it then it's eligible for a recall that was released. The software needs updated. Honda is not very forward about letting you know these things in order to not have to spend money on fixing them for free.
@@EM-rp6fq Turns out it was acknowledged as a defect, but not considered an actual recall. Whatever that's supposed to mean. So yeah, you'll have to pay labor. Lame, I know.
@@wildkeith that’s crazy lol if it’s a known defect affecting this particular model, just fix it for free smh but I think their argument would be it’s not affecting the safety of the driver and passengers. Do you recall how much you paid? I have an appointment in a few days.
