How about Roxy Music? Brian Ferry?
Chris, forever an amazing singer and performer.
Great performance!
Im glad you enjoyed it
I like this kind of hold school whirly organ
I went to see Chris live in the 60's in Crewe at the Beau Brummel Club when the Thunderbirds introduced him as their vocalist. Then again in the 2000's and he was as good as ever, The best soul singer bar none.
You were so lucky to have seen Chris at that point in time. I hope you saw a few other greats back in the day.
How about Rod Stewart and Long John Baldry with the Steam packet at Quaintways in Chester with Ginger baker on drums. Also Jimmy James and the Vagabonds at the Twisted Wheel in Manchester. The Supremes, Martha Reeves and Stevie Wonder on a motown tour which played to empty seats!!@@ScottishTeeVee
@@user-eq9it8yo5u Ooft I am truly jealous, of every artist you mentioned, would love to have seen them all. Incredible to think there were empty seats on the Motown tour, was that around they time they all appeared on RSG?
That would have been in the early to mid 60's.
Chris is definately up there, however it's Marriott for me.
Was für eine geniale Stimme❤
Grande Chris

Who dare compete with Steve Marriott and the Small Faces with this all time great song? Actually not a bad job at all!
Steve would probably approve
@@ScottishTeeVee That's a nice thought.
Who knew Zammo from Grange Hill could sing so well.
He certainly does look like Zammo, could be father and son.
I think that is Paul Carrack as you say. He did wear a hat like that at that time.
Thanks for watching, likewise it was the hate that made me think it was him, I seem to remember seeing him on other TV shows wearing it or one similar 🤠
Is that Pat Arnold in the center backing vocalist line?
Think you might be right!
Nobody does is as good as the original unless your joe cocker
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment
