TH400 swap the trans bro. Way cheapper. Love the Rad in the back and the turbo kit is super sweet.
I’m going to give the 6l80e a try first. If it goes then well it’s th400 time. But I like have 6 speed on the street. Especially highway driving!

How the radiator working in the rear? How’s the temps holding?
What wheels and tires are you running?
Street setup was rz05 bc forge 18/17 combo. Cts-v v2 setup. Nitto invo 245/ 35/18 I think on the front and 275/50/17 m&h dragmaster for the rear.
Where’d you order your drive shaft from and what brand.
Actually found it local. You can get them through kozaperformance.com
Go to G8only.com . They will carry the drive shaft you need.
what rims are those ?
Street setup was 18/17 bc forge rz05’s. The track setup is 18/15 weld s76’s
Wait a 1000 wheel and 10.9? Hmm what rear tire? Buddy runs a G8 lsa 10.0 stock 80e as well.. weight definently is the enemy but your 10.3 pass with the 1.6 1.7 should get you into nine's if ya can cut a 1.3 60 :P but that's a mean 60ft you got the rear end it seems like..
I think a bit a boost of the line would help. Now it sounds like you are committed to the 6l80...I'm trying to get rid of mine. Th400 or built 4l80 possibly ...400s more on the inexpensive side. No personnel experience just hours of research for the cost of beefing up the 6 you may want to reconsider. Your buddy may have it figured out tho...so I'll be looking out for your result.
Cage spend the money and go chromoly, in case you are debating between steel.
You got a ice box fire your water boxes? Interchiller could help as well. I liked the turbo set up looks neat! Stay consistent with videos and cheer up! This is exciting get excited ha lol and drop your Instagram details ect get them views! 1000 wheel with a SBE you sir are nuts. I gotta turn my set up UP!
Car Made 1k on 13/14lbs . On the 10.3 pass it was only on 10lbs of boost the whole pass. So it has a ton left in the setup. I just have to learn to drive it. The beginning of the season, I’m going to work on the 60ft to get it down in the 1.3’s and then pour it on, in the back half.
The guy I’m working with on the 6l80e is super knowledgeable and also went out of his way to help me out this far. So I’m willing to give it a go!
The cage will definitely be chromoly as these cars are already super heavy.
The car used 2 a2w intercoolers that keep iats pretty cool. I don’t think I have seen iats over 110* on a full pass in the heat.
