I hate it when bands get to this point in their careers... The music sounds tight, the stage show is phenomenal but the singer always seems to get bored with their original arrangements (understandable). So, in the end, it sounds and looks like a glorified cover band.
@@fleatactical7390 Rob was absolutely on fire for his age that night. There were a few songs where he kind of had to take it easy, but he overall still had an energy to him that most folks his age never have. His voice could still reach the really high notes, but he had to use it sparingly. I think that kind of show is fine if you go in with realistic expectations. Also, I don't want my live shows to sound like studio albums. I appreciate when a vocalist changes up the song a bit. They're probably sick to death of some of these songs they've been doing for decades. Might as well give us something different.
@@aaronsarchive82 Not disrespecting any of them, Rob especially. But you kind of made my point by saying what you ended with. The music in this video sounds almost exactly like the album (considering it is live), but his singing doesn't. It has nothing to do with the highs or his ability to still hit them. He just seems bored with it all. Anyway, your points are all valid, especially if you have the proper expectations going in. But that's also why I personally probably wouldn't spend my money for this particular ticket. Each to their own. Thank you for posting this. Glad you had a great night!
@@williamweiss6128 The crowd was mostly boomers and a few Xers. They were pretty excited throughout the evening but no huge pits or anything like that.
72 and still absolutely rocking it.
That was awesome ...thanx for posting.
@@micheldaubigne7629 Thank YOU!
Pretty chill... looks like the crowd at a RUSH concert 🤔
HELL YES!
I wonder why Rob keeps going behind that curtain. I think he might control Oz from in there.
Not quite the same as "84" but what is?
And to think that this song was not originally intended to be on that album.
That album is a classic. It just wouldn't be the same.
🤟
