A lot of people who buy MT tyres don't actually need them, compared to an AT they are better in Mud and maybe slightly better on dirt and gravel, but much worse on the road, horrible on wet, bad on snow especially compacted snow and ice, noisier, less comfortable and give higher fuel consumption. That's a lot of things you sacrifice for one benefit

They are not made for constant road use hint mud tire.
