One of the beautiful songs from Paul.
Paul’s many masterpieces!
Some songs need to be heard by everyone. This is one
Wanderlust! an all time favourite!
Paul's songwriting fits so well with orchestration.
Never heard this version myself. Paul is a master song weaver. And Ringo is just Ringo! Loved it!
You missed the Paul movie from 1984 Give My Regards to Broadstreet then. Great music, lousy story though.
Now listen to the studio version of the Beatles' performance of the same song from 1966. One of the most beautiful songs ever.
@@user-pf7jm9go6o Revolver is an amazing album!!
Yes, the Beatles version is much better, with the 3-part harmony.
Love seeing you react Sarah with your beautiful soul, such a joy to behold.
Congratulations, Sarah! You are the first reactor I know of that has done this particular clip! I LOVE the Wanderlust rendition especially!
I have seen 3 other reactors do this not long ago, but I can't remember which ones. But they reacted to the clip where it shows the beginning in the studio with some conversation and starts off with Paul singing "YESTERDAY," then into "Here There and Everywhere/Wanderlust.
I've been a Beatles fan since the 1960s, but I have to admit, I've never heard Wanderlust, nor have I even heard of the title. I'm simply blown away.😮
It's from his 1982 album "TUG OF WAR" which did VERY WELL, you should listen to the entire album...
What I love about these videos is that we get to hear something close to the composer's "perfect version" and, in this song, something very close to his original moments of creation. He had to refine the words and timing a bit, but he captured the essence in those three title words - here, there and everywhere - and fleshed out the lyrics in those 3 sections. I hope every guy gets a chance to think of his special person when he hears or sings this song.
I had not heard this mix before! Thanks!
I think this is from the movie "give my regards to broad st". Ringo didn't want to play drums on a Beatles song, so he spends the time "looking" for the brushes needed for that song
I distinctly remember when this album came out. Of course I bought it the day it was available. Like it was yesterday.
Beautiful songs! Sweet reaction Sarah 😊
Here, There and Everywhere is from the Beatles Revolver album. It is one of the best of McCartney's ballads. He did have quite a few excellent ones though.
John Lennon told Paul that Here There and Everywhere was his best song.
Curiously, this overlapped in time with the Beach Boys' God Only Knows - named by Paul as one of the best few songs ever. It was released shortly before Here There amd Everywhere was recorded.
I've never heard this live version before. If it was stripped down to the guitar, and Paul's vocals, it might be better than the studio version. WOW
This is such a pretty ballad from The Beatles 1966 album "Revolver". Lots of great songs on it such as "Taxman", "Eleanor Rigby". "Yellow Submarine", "Good Day Sunshine" etc.
Ringo's musicality is uncanny.
almost a 'Bread' type song , paul usually did the ballad songs where as John was the rock n roll lead songs tho paul of course can do anything.
Of course that is Ringo Starr on the drums. The vocal counterpoint is Paul's voice too. Here, There, and Everywhere is from the Beatles Revolver album from 1966 while this version is from the 1984 movie Give My Regards to Broadstreet. The Beatles version is beautiful all by itself, but I agree this one really goes together well with Wanderlust a song from Paul's 1982 album Tug of War.
The original version on the Beatles Revolver album can't be surpassed. It's simple, but with those unique Beatles harmonies, and a French horn solo arranged by their legendary producer George Martin.
Sarah, you will LOVE Paul's song "Somebody who cares." It's one of his least appreciated but most beautiful songs.
George Martin, the genius behind the success of the Beatles
@@bukeksiansu2112 nothing irritated John more than people overplaying Martin's role (in John's view).
Paul could really sing, couldn’t he?
Peace
They cut it OFF too soon, as RINGO was walking around the drums, if they had let it go a few more seconds you would hear the cymbal crash as Ringo knocks over the stand......the camera then pans to Paul and he says, " Looks like it's just one of those days." This is from Paul's 1984 movie "GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADSTREET" Paul's wife Linda is in it, as is Ringo's wife Barbara Bach, George Martin, Geoff Emerick, Bryan Brown, Tracey Ullman, and SIR Ralph Richardson, which I believe was his last movie before he died. ACTUALLY this is NOT the FULL video. It starts with Paul singing "YESTERDAY," then goes into "HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE" and THEN "WANDERLUST" (which is from his current album at that time "TUG OF WAR" one of his best. I LOVE LOVE THIS MOVIE. Saw it 7 times when it was in the theater and have it on DVD now. Lots of great songs, dance sequences, humor, it's just a fun movie.
I'm glad you enjoyed the tunes, Sarah. I join with other commenters in asking that you listen to the Beatles studio version of the track. This version was shortened, and you miss out on the Beatles' heart-tugging harmonies. ❤
Thank you for the reaction, Sarah to this wonderful ballad! The studio album version is superior but chances are it would get blocked so good choice by you!!
This has been blocked for over a month now too😅
This is Paul from his solo career. This ok but not close to The Beatles version from their "Revolver" Lp.
This solo version is overproduced for me. The second song here isn't a Beatles song.
"Here There And Everywhere" you want the 2022 remix from "Revolver" check it out.
Peace ❤
"WANDERLUST" is from Paul's 1982 Album "TUG OF WAR" You should listen to the album, it's GREAT! This is from Pau's 1984 movie "GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADSTREET." Did you notice GEORGE MARTIN ( the Beatles producer) and GEOFF EMERICK (their recording engineer) in the control room) and of course RINGO.
Always thought that this "Northern Brass Band" version of Here, There and Everywhere was beautiful, gave it a bit of "heft"...
Try the Beatles' version......
He wrote this about his girlfriend at the time Jane Asher.
Doesn't compare with the studio recording which is far better with John and George's vocal harmonies. Go to the REVOLVER album !
Uhhhh no… you have to listen to the original recorded version!!!!!
Why not listen to the real version by the Beatles?
She can listen to BOTH, they ARE BOTH lovely arrangements.
Beatles sucked....Just a Boy Band....
You are deluded. McCartney is greatest songwriter and performer of all time.
The original version on the Beatles Revolver album can't be surpassed. It's simple, but with those unique Beatles harmonies, and a French horn solo arranged by their legendary producer George Martin.
