Since ABBA decided to donate royalties from the song CHIQUITITA to UNICEF in 1979, the collaboration has raised more than US$ 5 million for UNICEF’s work to protect children from violence.
this is their best ever song!
@@lrkam around the same time the Bee Gees did Too Much Heaven which also raised money for UNICEF. Two songs with fantastic harmonies, and brilliant song writing. We were lucky to grow up with music of this quality, that we don’t seem to see anymore, before auto tune, just well practiced skills honed through years of performing at the highest level!
The girls got the voices, Björn and Benny got the talent to write the lyrics+ music... True legends in the art of making music !!!! :)
AGNETHA THE BEAUTIFUL BLONDE WITH THE MAGNIFICENT VOICE PURE GOLD PRICELESS TREASURE!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
90% is the song writing too. Benny and Bjorn are geniuses, just like Lennon and Mcartney etc
I was feeling down so the doctor told me to take two ABBA songs every day ❤❤❤❤
SO DO I (BALLADS NOT RECOMMENDED)!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Your reaction is precious! A baby could not be happier receiving a new toy. God Bless your heart and soul!
this has always been my favourite abba track!!
Abba had an amazing number of songs all very very good and mostly joyful, you will not be sorry listening to this group.
My mother was a teenager in the 70s when ABBA blow up here in Sweden and according to her everyone loved them, but everyone only listened to them in secret because if you admitted to likin them the bullies would swarm to make your life a living hell. Because only nerds could possibly like that kind of pop music.
ABBA HAD DONATED THIS SONG TO UNISEF IN 1979 AND A ORPHANAGE WAS BUILT IN INDIA FOR THE KIDS!!!LONG LIVE TO ABBA!!!!GOD BLESS ABBA!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I was just 16 years old when this song came out and I thought it was the best!! I loved ABBA then. I loved seeing your adorable reaction to this and yes, we had some great songs back then!
Such pure voices and harmonies. Many many hits that are now classics.
des classiques certes, mais toutefois intemporels!!!
there is a reason, why they are one of the best selling groups ever. Love it.
This song is wonderful! Abba is HUGE!
They were a match made in heaven that’s for sure they didn’t know how to write a bad song they were a force to behold so amazing there will never be a couple of voices like this ever again they touch your soul
This remains my favourite ABBA song. I never get tired of it. Agnetha's voice in that first verse is one of the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.
That was the most beautiful reaction I've seen to this old song. They are timeless. 😊 Hugs from Sweden.
This is my favorited Abba song.
I grew up with ABBA. 🎼
They still holds today.
Hug fromSweden🇸🇪.
It's just a massive sharing of joy, this song, isn't it.
I loved your happy reaction, Sarah.
I wish you rainbows.
In my opinion, the greatest song writers in music
My sister in law loved Abba.,may she rest in peace. Great reaction... brought me back to beautiful memories.❤
ABBA are the GOATS (Greatest of All Times) of POP!!!
Una vez entrado en el mundo ABBA es imposible salir , Un abrazo desde Valladolid España ❤❤.
They really were very good...... I lived through that whole era...I am 82 now..... ABBA were fabulous!
Same here! We did not know how lucky we were.
Your previous ABBA reaction to 'Dancing Queen" was possibly the best one i've seen in utube.Pure euphoria, pure joy..."Oh ma Lord"...
(New Sub)
It's a perfect song...😊!
An anthem for friendship and hope.👌
🅰️🅱️🅱️🅰️ Never Dissapoint 😅!
Great video, Sarah... Take care✌️
Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗😘👍
Those girls have the most recognizable sound in music duo’s! Truly unique, special in every way, perfect blend!
This is a mega, mammoth classic with heavenly harmonies and Agnetha's angelic voice on the lead.I'ld also suggest you 'SUPER TROUPER" next.Perfect melody divine vocals and honey-glorious chorus and this features refined warm voice of Frida on the lead.
One of my favorite songs ever…the voices, harmonies, lyrics… beautiful!
ABBA was always my favorite music band, they are very popular in Germany in the 70s .
en France aussi!.
and in the former Yugoslavia they had a great influence on the music scene too ❤
They are still around and whip asses of every band
"Chiquitita" means 'little girl' (with affection) in spanish And the melody have a spanish tune, specialy by the acustic guitar But the center is the wonderful piano, like akmost all ABBA songs
"Chiquitita" is a beautiful song, it has hopeful lyrics, a melody that starts very soft with the blonde Agnetha's solo, then grows and explodes in a powerful chorus; Agnetha and Anni Frida's vocal harmonies are of excellence (Agnetha is soprano, Anni Frid is mezzo soprano, and together blending together the 'Third Voice' of ABBA)
"Chiquitita" was premiered especially for the Concert by UNICEF, invited (with a lot of artist) by Bee Gees
ABBA premiered "Chiquitita" that night in January 9 (1979), and its royalties are eternal for UNICEF
"Chiquitita" was ABBA's greatest success in Latin America, that prompted ABBA to record it in Spanish, and its success was so extraordinary that in the following years ABBA recorded an album with its best songs entirely in Spanish
"Chiquitita" was specialy the greatest hit of ABBA in my country Argentina
"Chiquitita" is in the Top 3 of all ABBA worldwide biggest hits, with 'Dancing Queen" and "Fernando", it's a Masterpiece
This promotional video was in February 1979 in Swizterland, when ABBA go there to a special TV "ABBA in Switzerland", for the 'International year of the Child'
(That's why the snowman)
It's their only official video of ABBA made without Sweden
I wish to see you soon in another reactions to ABBA songs
GOD bless you and stay safe
My best regards from Argentina
I am convinced that you spend your entire life searching RUclips for new ABBA reaction videos.....
The loving tenderness of this song is so beautiful. I loved your reaction! so sweet!
❤ABBA
Some of us would never admit to listening to ABBA…but secretly we loved them…❤
I'ld say ''some squillions" actually.Who was buying all these phenomenal amounts of Abba records? But ok it wasn't cool to admit .They were kind of a soft spot and we naturally tend to protect our 'vulnerable" parts.Ask both Bono and The Edge from U2 who 'set things right' about it and with such a disarming bravery on their statements about their big secret ABBA love last year on BBC.Esp. Bono, was very emotional.Their Irish teenage era was tenderly 'knitted' with Abba's music back then.
I'll admit it. I don't care. They were fantastic.
There will NEVER be another ABBA, the whole quartet are amazing at what they did/do.
ABBA was definitely one of my favorite childhood groups. Thank you Sarah ❤
❤ ABBA!! ❤ this song...the video, voices, and the perfection of ABBA!!
lol,...I can't believe these voices are coming from people, well said Sarah you nailed that one.
Great song choice 👍 As I've gotten older and have listened to ABBA again I've realised how great they really are.
I absolutely loved your reaction! This is one of my very favorite ABBA songs. Both the beautiful music and the uplifting lyrics...
The voice, then the voices, then the music, then the band- it can only be ABBA.x
They are singing to you, Chitiquitta.
Try 'One Man, One Woman' and 'Our Last Summer' by ABBA.
Both fabulous beauuutiful deep cuts.
Sarah, I get the impression you like this song.😂❤
My favorite ABBA song 😊
The musical & movie "Mamma Mia!" is all ABBA songs. You may enjoy it!
To hearing ABBA-> can be REAL LIFE ❤️🥰😇🫶👉🤝👏👏👏
So many songs from Abba that are timeless 💥 classics.
Not just the singles but many album tracks that only real Abba fans know about.
Great reaction video to my favourite Abba song, i got to see them live in London at Wembley Arena in 1979😱😍
They were phenomenal 🎇
Thank you Sarah 🙏
🇬🇧👍
Its like a rollercoaster of life.
ABBA is one of the few greatest bands ever
My favourite is Al Andar (move on) the spanish version! Check it out! Come to London and see the abba show - Its mind-blowing!
Didn't heard that song for 30 years probably. What a treat, thank you! The ending is incredible!
I am SO glad you are finally watching the original hit versions of several songs, as opposed to the alternative takes and remixes, along with live performances from years or even decades after they were hits. Cheers from Oz.
Loved your reaction Sarah! Aren't they wonderful. Looking forward to sharing your ABBA journey ❤
Their Harmonies are Legendary spanning Music & A Movie How beloved this Group is 😊❤
ABBA ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This song alone could bring this troubled World together Oh God if only it was that simple 😢 Amazing reaction takes me back to 1979 when I bought the album Vou le vou, hope I spelled it right 😊❤ see you soon bye 😊
Agnitha probably had the greatest soprano voice in popular music. 😊
Pronounced Chi-ki-ti-tah. In Spanish meaning Dear little one in the feminine gender. Dear little girl. Abba sung this in English as well as Spanish.
Listening to an ABBA song will always make you feel better. 😊
Wow, great reaction. For years I thought Dancing Queen was my favourite ABBA song. Then after a number of all-night drives with ABBA GOLD pounding away, it was SOS .... then it was Chitiquitta. I decided that I don't have a favourite ABBA song - I have a whole pile of favourites.
This song is so beautiful, I was disappointed that the "Mamma Mia" musical didn't do it justice, and almost reduced it to a novelty song. I wish every person who saw "Mamma Mia" would take the time to listen to the ABBA versions. The original and the best. Fantastic reaction, Sarah!
You HAVE to go down the ABBA rabbit hole!
This for me is one of abba's best. great reaction :D cheers.
In the early 70s all way 80 I had 8 Trac of them played it all the time harmony almost gospel and satisfying sonds

Great heartfelt reaction! You really need to listen to The Winner takes it all. And have tissues handy! 😊
This is by far their most beautiful song, with The Winner Takes It All coming a very close 2nd
I 💕 your joyful reaction!!
ABBA are amazing my favorit song is Fernando
THE band of my College years- 1975-1979. "Dancing Queen", "Honey Honey", "Waterloo", "The Name of the Game", "Take a Chance on me", "Fernando", "Knowing me and Knowing you", "SOS", "MamaMia", "Winner takes it all", and my all-time favorite- "I do I do I do I do I do". Still think of the college Hockey player I was in love with from 1976-1980 every time I hear that song!!!
I loved your reaction ❤️. All Will always be in your divine, light, purpose. Belive in life, you are loved and protected 🥰. Love from Sweden 🤗🌷☀️❤️!

They have so many good songs “Dancing Queen” is probably their most successful, but you can honestly find about 10 really good ones after that too
glad I mentioned it. yes its their best song. 🎹🎹
this has the most fantastic outro!!
You are so sweet, "Chiquitita" means "little girl" in Spanish.
Best Band Ever
Lovely video.. such an amazing song ❤
You've just listened to a classic ❤
You're my favorite music reactionary person you tuber. I
Ur awesome, BTW. You make me smile. 😊
The voice
❤❤❤❤❤
After you have reacted to their songs you need to watch the musical movie Mama Mia based on the Broadway play all the songs are from Abba. It’s one of of my favorites!
Nothing can beat the girls’ voices and delivery but there is actually a better version of the ‘soul’ of the song by Sinead O’Connor. The ABBA video has the boys bouncing and smiling which is fine as the chorus can be seen as uplifting but Sinead approaches it as a continuation of the advice from a friend. Her video version, not the live ones, is fantastic as she makes a cup of tea for her unseen friend and delivers the support needed, even adding a bit of comedy by having the milk be not quite fresh. Her version makes it more intimate, more genuine than the grinning, bouncy boys.
