Keith Potger - one of the 2 guitarists - lives near me in a little town on the outskirts of Canberra, Australia. He's 83, and he still performs for his local community in a little abandoned theatre across the street from his house.
What a wonder that is Judith Durham's voice. No one sings like her. She is un-mistakable when you hear her voice. I have seen her sing live, and she sings without any effort at all. Sadly she has now passed away, and my heart is truly broken, but I know she will never be forgotten. She is a National Treasure of Australia. I love her.

They had so many great hits including "Georgy Girl", "The Carnival Is Over", "A World Of Our Own", "Morningtown Ride", "Someday, One Day" etc. They have beautiful voices & harmonies. They don't make nostalgic music like this anymore. Reminds me of a simpler time.

This group played a role in my music appreciation of the 60's. The crazy thing is that when I listen to this song and while watching her memorial, I'm in bloody tears. I lived in Australia (Bottany Bay) for a year back in the late 70's, and grew to appreciate the immense love that nation had for her and the group.

If you want to be really impressed with her talent, a quick RUclips search will find you a video of her singing this same song at their twenty-fifth reunion. Her flawless voice is nearly indistinguishable from what it is in this video. But if you really, really want to be impressed, find her singing this same song, again, on their fiftieth (!) reunion. She is obviously frail, and needs to sit for her performance. But that voice, with all its perfect pitch, crystal clarity, and astonishing power is still there. RIP Judith, and no, we will never find another you.

I took my mother and late father 😢 to see The Seekers in Manchester. I’ll never forget that evening, how happy I was to be with my lovely parents. I often listen and sing along but it makes me cry. All of their songs do 😢❤

Great song! This was written by Tom Springfield who was the brother of Dusty Springfield. They were originally in the group The Springfields. Brilliantly performed by the amazing Seekers.
I grew up with this music. Judith Durham had an amazing, unforgettable voice. After the Seekers broke up, she moved to Paris, and did the jazz café scene there. She also did a superb cover of "If you go away", the Jacques Brel song.
This is OUR song for my wife and myself. It affirms what we have known since the day we met. Luckily she got back from the Philippines just in time for us to get tickets to the Seekers final ever concert in Australia in Brisbane. Judith Durham, you may no longer be with us, but that voice will ring through the universe until the end of time. Thank you so much.
