I put the top bun on after the egg has cooked for 2 minutes. The top bun only needs 2 minutes as the machine is very hot.

I bought one years ago, and it has been sitting on my shelf ever since. Every time I have ever tried to use it, the egg has run out. I don't understand if I got a flawed unit or what.

Never spray a non-stick surface as you will ruin the purpose of the non-stick. After a while, you'll get a build-up of non-stick spray and then it's ruined.

    • @idigorganics

For those of you who kept saying it spills my eggs out of the ring. Make sure your round slide out plate lines up with the ring wall to keep the egg from weeping out. Adjust your round plate if you see egg whites running out of the ring quickly when it happens. I always add the top muffin after the egg cooked, slide out round plate and let it set for a minute to warm up the muffin top. Then open the rings to slide the muffin sandwich to the plate, add cheese while it is hot. Wrap it in paper towel, let it sit for a minute or three, to soften a bit, melting cheese. Delicious! I also make pizza muffin. Preheat, then when ready, put one slice of the muffin on the bottom, add pizza sauce, bacon bits, and a bit of cheese. Put down the round plate and upper ring to cook your pizza. Cook until cheese is melted. If your pizza is over stuffed, slide the round plate out and use the two rings to cook your pizza. Works every time!
