Pastor Doug i am an alcoholic i get drunk everyday and every morning i wake up wanted to change but it just impossible i tried. But when i came close to someone i get angry and frustrated
Find 12 step AA program and get a sponsor. Sing praise to God out loud. Say scriptures out loud. Cry and call on the name of the Lord Jesus to help and deliver you. ♥️

While AA might help with testimonials, and possibly friendships, they will not direct you to the Lord Jesus or the Bible. They do not allow it to even be talked about. They will direct you to what they call the Big Book, and they will make that your Bible. Hopefully you can find a good Sabbath keeping church. People who are going to lead you to live for the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior & great Healer, putting Him first in your life.
You will not get that from AA. As a matter of fact, they can be vulgar there, teaching you things you don’t want to know.

If the Adventist's and the other self-proclaimed messengers of God would be totally honest with God and the public, they would admit that none of the gospels or the New Testament was written to or for them, any more than it was written to or for the JW's or the Mormons. Like the JW's and the Mormons, the SDA and others *have misappropriated the Scriptures,* claiming they were commissioned to go out and tell the world their own brand of doctrine, false teachings, prophecies and wild ideas.
They always claim they are one of the hundreds of thousands of a *"Reformation"* God is using or one of countless, *"Remnants"* of remnants of a remnant of a remnant, making it appear as the teach that Christ is a major Church hopper. And, now somehow every Christian is supposed to try to figure out on his own, where Christ may have hopped to what group today. ………… The Protestants and the cults have made a mockery out the bible and they aren't ashamed to continue to do so.
They all claim they "love the Bible" while they abuse it having no boundaries or ethics.
And, if they were to be honest for one minute, they'd admit, Christ never told them or their followers to do anything but obey the apostolic church and it's bishops, whom he did give the authority to preach the gospel and teach others, whether they like it or not. *It takes a real man of God* to be so honest. *But, why then preach whatever, if you aren't willing to be both a man of God and honest?* The same goes for their followers.
Doubtfully, these groups or their members will be honest enough to admit it. Because, they love their tiny following and attempting to usurp the authority, making themselves the authority more than the worship of the true God.

On the night before his crucifixion, Jesus’ disciples prepared the Passover meal. The traditional Jewish Passover feast commemorates God’s rescue of Israel from Egyptian slavery. Jesus applied elements from this meal - the bread and the wine - to explain what He would accomplish on the cross transforming it into a remembrance of His own person and work.
Jesus took the bread and the wine and showed how they symbolized His sacrifice on the cross (Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:14-20). The bread represented His body that would be broken; the wine was a picture of His blood that would be shed for the forgiveness of sins. In doing this, Jesus showed how the exodus from Egypt foreshadowed the ultimate deliverance in Christ.

In his best-known work, "The City of God," Augustine argued that the Millennium had already begun (postmillennialism), or more accurately, says Kyle, that the 1,000-year reign of Christ was a "spiritual kingdom" rather than a physical kingdom. Some theologians call Augustine's approach "amillennialism" because it ditches a literal reading of Revelation, Daniel and Matthew, and interprets the prophecies as figurative language describing how Christ works through his Earthly Church to prepare the world for His triumphant return.
"Through the Middle Ages, the Church saw itself as fulfilling much of [these millennial prophecies]," says Kyle. "The Church was seen as working out God's will on Earth."
Augustine's symbolic reading of the Second Coming ruled the Church for nearly 1,500 years, but then came a 19th-century preacher named John Nelson Darby. The Irish reformer was convinced that the Church was in ruins and that the end times were upon us. In his literal reading of the Bible's apocalyptic texts, Darby found that God's creation was divided into seven distinct ages or "dispensations," the final one being the Millennium.
Darby taught a fiery premillennial doctrine that Christ would undoubtedly return in person to vanquish the Antichrist, bind Satan and reign over his Earthly kingdom for 1,000 years. But first, the righteous and faithful would be "caught up" to heaven during the "Rapture," Darby's creative interpretation of the Second Coming and end of days became known as "premillennial dispensationalism" and eventually came to rule the apocalyptic worldview of evangelical Christianity.

2 The element of the unleavened bread in the Passover feast now symbolized His body, broken as He took upon Himself God’s wrath against sinful humanity. The wine now signified His own blood, poured out to seal God’s covenant with believers in Christ (Luke 22:19-20). And He commanded His followers to commemorate His death by similarly eating bread and drinking wine together until His second coming.
Christ’s transformation of the Passover meal confirmed what John the Baptist had said of Him three years earlier: He was the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). By portraying His own body as broken and His blood as poured out, Jesus identified Himself as the ultimate Passover lamb. The Jewish disciples understood that as the blood of the original Passover lambs caused the angel of death to pass over the Israelites, anyone identified with the blood of Jesus would be passed over on judgment day.
John 19:14 indicates that Pilate delivered Jesus to be crucified at the same time the priests sacrificed the Passover lamb in the temple. The timing was more than coincidence. It signified that “Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed” (1 Corinthians 5:7).
A Continual Remembrance
Jesus instructed His disciples to observe this ritual of remembrance continually “until that day when [He would] drink it new with [them] in [His] father’s kingdom” (Matthew 26:29).
Following Jesus’ command, the “Lord’s Supper” became a key feature of early Church worship. So important was it that the apostle Paul set out clearly how it was to be conducted, with grave warnings for all who did not treat it with reverence (1 Corinthians 11:23-29).
The New Covenant
1 When He took the cup of wine and blessed it, He said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you” (Luke 22:20; compare with 1 Corinthians 11:25). In referring to the new covenant, Jesus was announcing that through His death and resurrection forgiveness of sins would be made available to all and that humanity could once again live in communion with God (see also 2 Corinthians 3:6).
The “writing of the law on the heart” would occur through the new birth and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who empowers believers to obey God. Through the establishment of this new covenant, the old Mosaic covenant was made obsolete (Hebrews 8:13).
Belief in the new covenant was one of the key distinctions between early Christians and Jews. For example, the Christian apologist Justin Martyr argued that the new covenant was the perfection of the old, while Trypho, as a Jew, held that the Mosaic Law was perfect by itself.¹
In fact, the new covenant was so important to Christian identity that the writings of the apostles came to be called the New Testament, another term for new covenant, while the Hebrew Scriptures were known as the Old Testament.

Jews and the Lunar Sabbath
While it is true that the Jews today worship on a Saturday sabbath, this does not prove that it is the true Sabbath. They did not always worship on the Saturday sabbath. Jewish scholars are very clear that the original method of calendation was different from the modern calendar and that under intense persecution during the fourth century A.D., the Jews gave up their original lunar-solar calendar with its lunar Sabbath. Declaring the new month by observation of the new moon, and the new year by the arrival of spring, can only be done by the Sanhedrin. In the time of Hillell II [4th century C.E.], the last President of the Sanhedrin, the Romans prohibited this practice. Hillel II was therefore forced to institute his fixed calendar, thus in effect giving the Sanhedrin's advance approval to the calendars of all future years. ("The Jewish Calendar and Holidays (incl. Once the ancient lunar-solar calendar had been set aside, knowledge of the true lunar Sabbath was lost with the acceptance of the pagan Julian calendar.
Lunar Sabbath Lost
These stone fragments of an early Julian calendar clearly show an eight-day week. The Israelites did not use the Julian calendar for finding the seventh-day Sabbath. They used the original lunar-solar calendar of Creation to find the lunar Sabbath.
The calendar of the Roman Republic, like that of the Hebrew calendar, was also a lunar-solar calendar. In 45-46 B.C., Julius Cæsar reformed the original Roman calendar and, with the help of an Alexandrian astronomer, Sosigenes, created a new solar calendar with continuously cycling weeks: the Julian calendar. While the Julian calendar was in use at the time of the Messiah, the Israelites did not use it as the early Julian week was eight days long! The Israelites were still using their original lunar solar calendar and worshipping on the seventh day of its week.
Let's take a look at this day we call ‘Saturday’ which has so hooked Jews, Messianics, Seventh-Day Adventists, Seventh-Day Baptists, the Armstrongite Churches of God, and many others…
We had to chuckle at how easily so many was fooled by those exposing the Day of the Sun (Sunday) into switching to another pagan deity. But that’s as it may be. Perhaps even more relevant for what we want to share is, does the Bible actually prophetically tell us that believers would apostacise and worship Saturn, the Day of the Satyr? It does.
