For magnaton and metagross I like to think that the original evolution was just some goofy trainer glueing multiple beldum or magnamite together to prank his friends.

Spiritomb is not obvious but it's 108 souls
Stakata is 137 sentient bricks
every grain of Palossand have it's own will
That is not the same thing, this is about pokemon that *evolve* by combining with another of itself. Not with other things that aren't its identical, and not pokemon that just exist as multiple pieces
@@Holistic-Hallucinationsthat’s stated, but it can be just multiple Pokémon in 1
@@TheElectronicVan These ones have more Girafarig, Exeggcutor, or Weezing logic to them. The separate sentient part can only functions as a whole, but what connects them isn't as physical like the ones I mentioned so it's not as obvious. Spiritomb souls are cursed to be bound together, also from the Pokedex entry "It was formed by uniting 108 spirits". They are one entity. Stakataka is a rampart, just like how when you place bricks in a house it's part of the house, those bricks are parts of the rampart from the start. There's nothing to suggest that Palossand can't just lose grains of sand or gain new ones (tiny ghosts that come and go), or if the grains of sand gain their will only when they become part of palossand and lose them/become inactive after leaving the pokemon, or even if the sand can move from one Palossand to another.
There's also nothing really anything wrong with Barbaracle. It's not just suddently more of the barnacle beings from who knows where joined just because it evolves, it's just straight up the Binacle making more of their own part, "When they evolve, two Binacle multiply into seven". They just straight up mate with each other, just like how irl barnacles mate with their neighbours.
Given how curly their tails are I imagine that the tandamouse line is somewhat based of these things called rat kings, a rat king is when a bunch of rats somehow get their tails tangled together and have to live like that for the rest of their lives, most known specimens are unsurprisingly found dead, but a few have been found alive.
There's even a book where a rat king was the villain. And it was an entity separate from the individual rats comprising it.

Falinks, klink, and dreepy lines also have the odd quirk pf being multiple entities being considered as one entity
They change in other ways though. The body changes and the dreepy join. Metagross only evolves by beldums joining up. I can see the whole dreepy line existing without fusing
@Virtual_Rose the falinks and dreepy line are more like the maushold example in this video, but klink I mentioned because they're literally just a magnemite clone and do the same fusion stuff that magnemite line does

No stone can them from "wrestling".
The power of love can break physics
Technically, but by pokemon logic it does which it confirms to be some kind of birth control rock.
Because it isn't evolution
The everstone had a hole
A few things I’d like to address:
1) Mega Metagross is specifically canonically comprised of a Metagross, a Metang, and two Beldums, where as the prior two are just stated to be what happens when two of the level below it come into contact (metang being two beldums that touched, Metagross being two metangs)
2) The children of Maushold aren’t biological children. The Pokédex entry specifically says they just random showed up out of nowhere, and now choose to stick around
3) another good example of a multimon is actually Skeledirge, as that weird little bird is a separate creature
The... the WHAT on Skeledirge??? It has a bird???
@@KeiranTrickthe little bird is the "clown nose" on it's snout. It's comprised of some sort of energy, but according to the pokedex, it comes into existence when a soul comes into contact with Crocalor's egg sombrero thing on it's head. When Skeledirge uses Torch Song, the bird extends it's legs to resemble a mic on a stand. As far as we know though the bird isn't it's own species of pokemon
Found family! They adopted the little ones! :D
Not to mention how Tandemaus can evolve without a cutscene. (Auto battling and resulting in it levelling up can skip the cutscene) so it can pretty much just be tandemaus one battle, no evolution, then maushold the next
"But where do the maus babies come from?"
"Nobody knows...."
Ssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeex
The Pokédex states that the little one(s) just showed up and decided to stick around so it's possible the secret to their evolution is found family
Okay, wait, Magneton is definitely documented as being 3 Magnemite stuck together, but Dugtrio is never described as 3 Diglett together. As far as we understand, it could be the same pokemon with three heads.
Actually some cards in the tcg mentions that dugtrio is "a team of diglett triplets" and the tcg is carefully monitered by tpc so that's enough to make dugtrio being comprised of 3 digletts canon
this doesn’t make it canon bur it does support the three doglegs argument - in Blue Rescue Team, the Dugtrio refer to themselves as ‘we’ and ‘us’ (however they also all talk as one and share the collective name of ‘father’ so who knows)
@@vampirelibrarian777 we and us is also typical of a multi-headed creature though. A singular entity with multiple brains is likely to refer to the collective minds as we. The problem is, there's nothing to hold them together if they are just individual creatures. Magneton has the idea of being held together through magnetism, but dugtrio doesn't have that. None of the 3D games depict dugtrio getting hit by a move and the trio being separated. If anything, it just emphasizes that all 3 heads react to the same damage..
Beldum evolves into metang when two beldum combine. Metang evolves into metagross when two metang combine. Metagross megaevolves when two metagross combine. So, technically speaking, mega metagross is just eight beldum as one.
To put it blunt and simple, when Tandemouse evolves it just has sex.
And who can forget Doublade the double Honedge!

hydrapple is actually accurate! while heracles (hercules for any disney-taught) fought the hydra when it had 9 heads, earlier artistic depictions show as few as six heads. hydrapple likely has 7 heads instead of 6 or 9 due to seven being a more manageable number and easier to assign a main head without disrupting the balance in the apple.

That's not possible since it's a gender unknown species.

Mousehold lost the opportunity to have a unique baby form but id like to see an solo evolution like maybe a regional form solo mousehold that evolves into a new firm but gains a baby becomeing a single parent to keep the theme but mostly to see it actually evolve.
My question, do the mouse children grow up and start a family and turn into a tandemaus? Because then it would be un-evolving…?
Exeggutor's head can fall off and become Exeggcute, and Slowbro and Slowking can turn back into Slowpoke if their Shellder detaches, so it's likely that's a combination of both: two Maushold meet, the children go off with each other and become two Tandemaus, and the parents turn back to Tandemaus too.

I try not to think about it too much
My theory is that Maushold is still one Pokémon that just has its organs spread across multiple bodies.
They aren't seen apart because they'd starve to death, and the "Little Ones" aren't actual children and are either backups or resource storage.

"Mysteriously" is that what the kids are calling it these days?
“So technically it’s not a hydra”
There’s a hydra with 9 heads
My guess as to why Tandemaus hatch as a pair is because you actually do just get one, it’s just that they very quickly find a partner. Level 25 is when they’re fully mature and able to reproduce, which causes them to evolve.
