I was VERY happy to see ya using the proper TC fluid on this . The clutch packs inside the tc DO NOT like that other fluid . Mopar Only . Even our diff's you will need to get the additive from a dealer . Small 4 ounce bottle .
The Mopar TFC case lubricant is the only fluid you should use. I picked up a 1999 Grand Cherokee WJ Qudra Trac I drove it over home on the highway. The driveline felt like it was slipping. I did some research and it pointed to a bad Viscous Coupler. So I’m think I have to rebuild the transfer case. As I researched the parts need all the viscous couplers providers stated that the tires need to be less than 1/4’’ in height difference than the rest of the tires. I replaced the tires. The slippage went away. When doing a hard left or right turn the front tires felt like it had a bad differential. I did more research and found out about the Mopar TFC fluid. The Jeep has over 200,000 miles on it. When I drain the TFC it had ATF fluid in it. I had 3 quarts of Mopar fluid. I used just under a half quart to flush out the remaining ATF fluid. The serviced the TFC with the Mopar fluid. The problem went away. $60.00 fix. Amazing results. Just the parts alone for the TFC would have been over $600.00. I know this is long winded. Just trying to help out the Jeep community. Awesome video.
