Will the day time lights still work at night

My Jeep Patriot 2011 FWD has some squeaking noises in the suspension, and it needs front brake pads. The mechanic charges $430 to replace the 2 upper control arms and the 2 lower control arms in the rear, two front brake pads, and for alignment and balancing. Is the price correct?

I rebuilt the suspension front and rear on my 2008 Element a couple of years ago. Just noting you have all the right tools to do the job. As a suggestion, start soaking the nuts/bolts with your favorite penetrating oil a couple of times a few days before tackling the job. Yeah, I had to cut the sway bar links too to get the control arm off. To others contemplating this job, order the sway bar links when you order your new control arms and save yourself some time and trouble. Good job and well done. Thank you for posting!

a few months ago I got a 2007 vibe on a city auction. it used to be the fire chief's car. only had 27k on it...for real....I even confirmed the mileage with the city garage. paid about $7k with auction fees. A little over KBB value, but where can you find a 27k car for $7k these days? Love it so far. I'm 6'4" and it's one of the few cars I can get in and out without banging my head on the doorway. The one drawback is the clearcoat was peeling badly on the hood and the roof and the paint was faded from sitting outside. If I get motivated, I'll just have the clearcoat re-done and live with a little ugly. The Vibes were made in California and the Matrix in Canada, but that's the only significant difference. The worst year for Vibe/matrix/corolla was 2009 per carcomplaints.com...significant oil burning.

I changed all 4 plugs and coils with a p0304 code and I'm still getting the code

Nobody talks about structural frame reinforcement options such as bumper chrome add on or a hitch for the back which makes it a less formidable car to get totaled!

TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT major factor. imo but supposedly the Vibe has cHAIN not a belt ., so Im thinking it may give longer life

Does the clock spring assist in returning the key fully My horn works with motor off , if you start it up and release the key all the Accessories work but the horn if you tilt the key just slightly reaward the horn works

Just purchased a 2006 Vibe 2 weeks ago. The cluch is brand new (Previous owner) but i do not know if he used GL4 75 W? I feel I should change anyway to be sure its GL4.

I have a Ford Ranger 1993 v6 3.0L 4x4 XLT, does this engine requires a specific head gasket? I read that a RWD needs a left and right head gasket, and a FWD it does not matter which way is installed, meaning the two smaller coolant slots on both ends are opened. Is this accurate? Any information is appreciated. Thank you

Bought one new in 2006 after high school, just as Pontiac was going under. Im 38 now lol. Have a nice house and good job, family etc. Still drive the car everyday. Cheap on fuel, cheap on insurance, super functional. Decent ground clearance for getting into job sites. Few brake jobs and one wheel bearing, couple batteries. Changed the oil at 5000km

I'm still driving and loving my 2003 AWD Pontiac Vibe. It has been an awesome, extremely reliable car. Never had to have ANY work done on it aside from regular maintenance until this past summer when it lost a heat shield and then started having the dreaded ABS & brake lights warnings due to the front wheels' speed sensors going bad. I think Im finally ready to let the car go now since I don't really want to put more money into a 21 year old car. Of course, I just bought new tires for it last year, and they only have 3,000 miles on them, so IDK. It really is a great car ... wish they still made them. Loved buying a Toyota for a GM price.

my concern about this car is getting parts, especially body parts. Are they available or do you have to got to junk yards? Will gm dealers be able to service them with original parts or will toyota? Any owners care to share their experience?

Bought my 2004 Vibe GT 4 uears ago with only 86k miles for 4 Grand. At 142k so far, still purrs like the day i bought her. Ill get 200-250k EASILY outta this bitch lol

On a 1996, if you have TPS code P0123 and a new TPS doesn't fix it, unplug the horn relay. If that clears the TPS code, replace the clock spring. It's a jeep thing 😂

I bought a 2009 with only 57k miles from some old lady. So far so good. Only complaint is that I wished it was awd version.
