It definitely deserves to be big. In an era of soulless cash grabs, battlebit is a Labor of love by Devs who definitely know their game and their audience.

The thing is that those soulless games are made by soulless companies seeking to maximise the monetisation on their games.
Ironically, these 3 developers made a game over 7 years that they poured their hearts and souls into for nothing more than the love of the genre, and are likely to end up each multimillionaires. The very fact that they made something awesome for everyone is fantastic, and I hope they earn HUGE sums of money for it!

This might be seen as a wild statement but it is just my opinion. I think Battlebit Remastered is the best FPS game since Battlefield 4 in 2013. We have been so lacking in good FPS titles over the last 10 years and the half decent ones were usually plagued with bugs or server issues left and right

I agree with this however I believe bf1 is superior to bf4 because of the history and the cinematic experience the game provides. I definitely believe gameplay to be superior to graphics but bf1 definitely takes the cake for the best cinematic fps out there whilst still being very fun mechanically imo

Valheim and Vampire Survivors did this recently and something I feel was a large part of Minecrafts success: They, as well as the Battlebit devs, focused on gameplay and fun over something like graphics or "deep" mechanics and features that add complexity for complexities sake. A reminder that in the end the most important factor of a good game is the gameplay and being fun to play.

Two issues I still have:
I would like to be able to customize character and weapons outside of matches
I do think the sound is a bit weak, especially the first sniper. Bass boost across the board would be nice.
the SSG definitely needs a boost, it does quite sound like that in real life but the amount of noise in game definitely mutes it. Being able to customize character and weapons out of the shooting range and matches would be a Godsend.
It's early access we can tell from the customization already in it that it will likely come soon

I would like to have customization without going through a load screen whatsoever, maybe within the soldier menu.
When crappy computers unite its a beautiful thing.
Game is nice for a early access. I don't mind those graphics at all. They just need to refine player movement (feels weightless) and sound (it's very quiet on the sounds).

I agree with the sounds part but I just turned up the master sound in the settings and it’s good now
I have this sneaking suspension thst a big company like Microsoft will end up buying this after seeing the success it has and i just really hope im wrong.
That might sound selfish but honestly i just want the big companies to stay away snd let these three guys develop the game snd become successful
Oki got offered a large amount during development by a Chinese company but turned it down.
Graphics doesn't mean a game will be good.
One of the most complex and dynamic games out there, Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead, is usually played with tilesets. (Its free as well)A zombie version of Dwarf Fortress basically. (Which is another fantastically dynamic game)

It's insane how the timing has worked for me, your comment is hilarious. Ive been playing dwarf fortress since like 2008 and used to play cataclysm like 10 years ago. 3 days ago I randomly remembered cataclysm and decided to download and play the newest version on this terrible computer I have (need to fix my gaming PC) after not playing any videogames for like 4 years and was enjoying it a lot. Then out of the blue find out about this game coming out maybe a day or so ago and being someone who used to play a lot of arma III it's super exciting time. Funny seeing your comment though, I of course agree 100%

Sooner or later the Player will ask the very simple question: "Do we need the Big Corporations anymore?" My answer to that is: No. No we don't.
Honestly this game is just fun. On the economics of the game. 100 full of content day one for $15. I will play another $15 for any additional DLC released. $15 x 50,000, then multiply that by however many returning ayer buy DLC. Divide tbat by 3 dudes.
It is a popular democratic game. Everyone can enjoy it as the PC requirements are low. Especially here in Brazil, where the parts market is more expensive because it is on the periphery of the system.
Not to mention all the game mechanics that make it extremely fun.

Theres definately a good honeymoon phase happening, youtube is being filled with videos telling me how amazing this game is and why... i just wish i was 10 years younger because its mindless 1000 mile an hour gameplay just gets tedious.
It's not tho. Play the game at your pace and do dumb shit in there like everyone else is doing and it's a blast. Play it like a sweat lord and it'll be about as fun as the other games. The difference here is that the devs put in place parts of the game that allow you to have fun rather than always take it so serious. It's only tedious if you make it that way man.
Plenty of people sit on rocks 2km apart from each other and just take hail mary pot shots at eachother hoping for that 1 in a million headshot. It's pretty slow.
You can play this however you want really.
Oh, and I'm an old fella too, i'd need to be more like 20 years younger to honestly keep up with the blokes playing these types of games and I do alright in the middle of the pack.
@@sdm6054 I did a sniper fight against another sniper, across the whole map. We spend a good 15 minutes to shoot each others without killing, when in the end this guy got me good. Not even mad, but impressed. SNiper is good for a chill play and you can get sweet sweet spot to farm poor soldiers too occupied on the frontlines.
If you compare to BF1 kill times which I've mostly some from, this feels incredibly different

I love this game so much i bought the dlc support pack cant wait to see what the devs are gonna make of this master piece
Easy to run, great gun play, fast paced, and finally you can choose how you play the game. I often play stealthy, and snipe people from bushes, other times I'll run into large groups and wreck em.
I'd love to see something like "Realism" servers, with no lens flares, slower movement speed, and more strategic gameplay. It would be simple to implement a change that players could vote on between matches.
In short, it's just a fucking great game.
Milsim mode is already on the cards not seen the roadmap?

For 15$ the game is a STEAL! Because I was blown away how good and polished this game is, I even went ahead and bought the somewhat overpriced supporter pack, because even for 35$ the game is still a great purchase!
Battlebit really showed all triple AAA titles go back to basics lol

it can be summarized pretty simply, its popular because of its low price, the fact you don't need a $1k+ PC to play it and that it's genuinely fun.
it has it's flaws right now though but im sure they'll get ironed out in the coming days.
if i want to critisize one thing in this game, it's the gun sounds, they suck so bad, especially the starter sniper rifle, it doesn't even sound like a gun it sounds like a puff of air
i have been so split, maybe just because i haven't played that much of FPS games. in one part im having alot of fun with the game and in the other part it sometimes gets kind of infuriating when you feel like someone just beams you down before you even get to react. it's most likely just a part of the get good since i haven't played that much fps so the whole aiming and reaction thing im still slow at, but even then i have had some good times trying to do some nice headshots as sniper :D
It's a real challenge that's for sure and when you do feel frustrated take a break so you don't feel burnt out from the game and in doing so enjoy the game even more
Little Tipp for anyone who thinks the recoil is hard to control, up your sens a little bit

I got this one guys to save you 10 mins. Because the game works. We have gotten accustomed and accepted bullshit from AAA titles and take it as the norm - and when these guys did what they did and released a game that .... idk ... works like its supposed to, we are all mind blown. That and the face that its fun and made by people who love BF and know what BF fans wanted.

Its easy when your the underdog and have other jobs making a game on the side by 3 people when your a big company having responsibility for many peoples salaries and Directors it changes completely

One Major thing that made me uninstall Rainbow Six Siege and play this instead (even if they are Very different and I'm fan since I was a kid)...
The people; the community is just WAY better.
Just people having fun and sharing laughs together.
Compared to the TOXICITY in R6 Siege (insults, harassment, Pressure etc...), the choice was quickly made.
You can get into a session without worrying about getting targetet for missing a shot, or getting tired of fighting people with a low IQ 😌.
the only thing id like to see is a littlllleeeeeeeeeee slower running speed cause in close quarters its hard to track people sometimes espescially when they got no vest

I've been enjoying it and definitely prefer it to whatever BF has become over the years, but I don't really find it hardcore at all, if anything I'd say it's extremely casual. I'm looking forward to getting in with a clan or group, cause right now there's basically no team play at all (same issue that BF has), your squad mates are nothing more than spawn points.
It's even BETTER with friends in a call, I had the most fun I ever had in a game EVER with my mates

Would be nice if there was a mechanic where the more you die and get revived you get like a boost of some kind that stacks with each revive. Maybe a speed boost or maybe you get less 'shake'when hit. Maybe a way to make sure that newer players or people who arent that good gets a chance. Of course there should be like a cooldown. Maybe after 10 revives, the next time you die, you cant get revived and the cooldown till spawn is longer

I'm not sure it would with all the controls. But I think it would already run on the Xbox. I just switched to pc this year.
It's expensive, but I think it was worth it.
They would need a much larger team to port the game to console.

I don't understand the love for this game lmao It has no idea what it wants to be. It's a sloppy mash of arcade and milsim elements and they both detract from the other. When all the other offerings are shit though, a polished turd looks pretty appetising I guess.

im happy for them. that said, im disgusted that WW3 fails and this once roblox game ported to a better engine succeeds. for me, its another reason why gaming is dead, that a roblox battlefield wins over battlefield or any other similar shooter.
Because WW3 gameplay is not as good as this. Battlebit may have shit graphics but it's gameplay is where it shines and why it's so popular
