bro I had this game of battlebit the other week where I WAS SWEATING in the middle of winter, going HARD as medic for a few games. I have not felt that way about any game since bf3 on pc in its prime 10 years ago. like where u actually feel your effort you put in actually helping your team secure the win, cause you're just on your sh** going ham
the fact that i try and get home as quick as possible, just to get a extra game or two in says a lot for me. this is the first true game in years besides csgo that i can consistently play and enjoy
@wogboi29 lol I had a similar situation, my teammates were out in the open (on the road) in Salhan and they just got firing squad by the enemy team, as a medic I ran out shouting that I'm not giving up on them while doing crazy maneuvers strafing and jumping while holding the revive button, I felt like an actual god support that time lmfao
Might be in the minority but I consider BattleBits graphics a plus. Their is very little visual noise on screen making it easy to quickly make everything out. It also runs smoothly for having 250 players
I'm a part of that minority. It's way easier to read than recent battlefields. The maps have so much going on in battlebit that it easily makes up lack of hd textures etc. Maps are really well designed.
I WAS on the other side, where the graphic style isnt something i enjoy. Blockbit games can be, and often are, lazy. It was actually the price that made me decide id try it and its the best 15 bucks ive invested. After getting to lv42 i can say that im now with you, the graphic style actually compliments the complexity and chaos of the gameplay, and i truly believe if it was made in the same realistic graphics that we all say we want, it would never have launched flawlessly
I also agree, I actually prefer the graphics Battle it has more than your average Cod or Battlefield realistic graphics, it's different and I personally think it's more visually appealing. Plus with the bonus of a more easier time making out hitboxes.
It's a pc it's ALWAYSA GONNA have cheaters retards. Lmfao. People literally get paid to make undetectable mods. Lmfao so crazy people hasn't understood that yet. How braindead is this community.
This game has a zero tolerance policy for a TON of things unfortunately. I love the game, I’ve just been banned for saying the most innocent stuff, and then being mass reported because I was using a vector or something. Or they just didn’t agree with an opinion I had.
Not a new era, but I do think Battlebits is a clear indication of how insanely starved for a new game that FPS players have become. Everything for the last 5+ years has either felt like a rehash, a rehash that actively took steps backwards, or a rehash that actively took steps backwards AND tries to milk you for every dollar you have. This is a desperate time in gaming, and people are waiting on the edge of their seats for the next great game.
Yylp cause tbh this game is bad. But then again I have a life and don't need a video game to get though the day. Sucks for these lowlife sit on ass all day fatasses who needs video games cause they literally do nothing all day
@J.Crolss it's Goobisoft behind it, it's NEVER going to happen m8, they will destroy it and nickel and dime everyone for every penny they have I think what you feel is schizophrenia m8 as thinking goobisoft will make any next amazing thing is insanity hahahahaha
I drove from California to New Mexico to visit my Dad and I brought my pc. I was so excited to play battlebit when I was driving it was crazy. I felt like I was in 2nd grade again daydreaming about playing Minecraft all day
What we want is a game that, at its core mechanics and functionality, actually work. And this game provided that. A flawless launch, swift and visible cheater ban system, enjoyable gun play, solo and group play and a rewards/grimd system that actually feels rewarding. Not to mention each class' own customisation options. As someone who used to be against this graphic style, the skill level of the game topped with the feeling of never being too serious means im always having fun, whether its being mowed down or getting a killstreak
It wasn't a flawless launch m8, let's not lie, be honest It had issues , and the reward grind was literally so bad the devs had to CUT THE GRIND IN HALF FFS
@@THEBUGSAREBACCCCKKKKKKKKKK when i say flawless, what i mean isnt problem free. What i mean is that whatever issues arose on launch were swiftly addressed and dealt with, that the devs were active and reactive. Most games that come out with similar issues dont get the changes until much much later when there is threats of boycot
I only disagree with the grind. I’m at lvl 50 and still haven’t found a gun that feel much different than the default guns. The gameplay is engaging but I don’t really feel rewarded for leveling up personally
For all of you too young to have lived it, this is what BF2 felt like. They aren't exactly the same game, but how they feel to play is very similar. This is what EA took from us.
EA didn't take it. Lazybass streamers did by making gaming all about money than fun. All it is. U retard fangirls who watch streamers will deny it but its clearly the reason if u open ur eyes. If it wasn't then why was games before streaming was popular so damn good and being brought back?????? Hhhmmmmm I wonder
It's more a combo, from the large fuck off maps of BF2, the customization of 2142, and the gameplay of bad company 2, BF3 and 4. All with 127 per side which makes things more chaotic, which is more a new feature in quick FPS matches.
@@jmgonzales7701 BF 2 was a near perfect sim-arcade hybrid combined arms game. A game that used realism to inspire it's features and mechanics but realized that a game could deviate from the real in order to promote better gameplay. At the same time though realizing that it could deviate only so long as it stayed grounded. Also that actions should not just matter second-to-second but engagement-engagement and that teamwork should trump individual skill. One man might win a firefight for his squad/team but without other players/classes to support him he could only manage a few such instances before resource attrition crippled him. In short, it was a game where the best shined, but never alone; and where you could pull-off heroic things, but rarely super-human feats.
I also felt something magical about this game, it really draws me in and makes me think about it while I’m not at home. My friends saw the graphics and refuse to even try it which really makes me wonder what they look for in a game besides a pretty picture
Same here, all my friends have trouble getting in to the game, meanwhile I’m blasting 70h+ and can’t get enough of it lol Good thing you don’t need friends necessarily to have fun in bbr bc the community is godly.
Something I'd like to say is to encourage people not just to play games like Battlebit Remastered, but to promote a population of game developers that develop products with a customer first mentality that team took when creating Battlebit Remastered. Its amazing what they did in 7 years with three people that had a goal that focused on function with an emphasis on the fun part. I encourage games not just to game but to also understand the BTS aspects of the development . It gives a greater appreciation of the amount of polish that went into the game. I mean they did this with Unity, a 254 player game on Unity with just three people. I encourage gamers to promote developers like this even more so than any AAA game coming out. Give this industry and all others industries the message that the customer first approach(with sensible financial benefits ofcourse) is the practically the mission statement for these various corporations.
Well Said m8 but it will never happen, gamers can't put their money where their mouth is The average gamer is a drone m8 who consumes product then gets excited for next product and wastes 100's of dinero's on trash MTX Why do you think the industry is in such an awful place it's never sank to before?!?! Because gamers will support ANYTHING that clicks in their monkey brains hahahahahah
@@lawrencec7229 simple uneducated answer to a socioligical issue, how many of us vote for brands that utilize modern slavery without even knowing so? Atleast software(in this instance) there is less middle men between those who produce the software and those who purchase the software.
Lmao at this initially sounding like some video essay and then suddenly it just turns into a fragmontage XD Guess we'll never know if we are entering a new era of gaming cause this was focused on fps and no arguments were made.
Graphics never needed to be better than MW2, that’s where we went wrong, pushing the limits of graphics was the major focus for AAA games for most of the 2010s and they forgot about good core gameplay. Battlebit broke that mold and it’s amazing. Everything promotes good team play and fun gameplay. One thing that doesn’t get talked about enough to me is how limited the UI is, so many modern games have things in every corner showing ability timers ammo health etc. it’s nice to not see all that clutter and it forces you to play with you team as you don’t know if you need heals or are out of grenades or bandages.
Most of my videos, until this one, got around 1-10k views lol I now know that people want to see the video essay stuff more so I'm working on that. Thanks!
IM ON THE SAME page. i used to be a bf3, metro 24/7 grinder but when that game fell out of faze i went to apex because nothing else was good enough. This game has me longing for it like i did with bf3 . well made battlefield game with its own tactical twist. I love it.
How exactly did you go to Apex and think "this is the only path" from Battlefield 3, the games are nothing alike and if anything Apex is just another trend follower, a trend that's ruined a sizable portion of games and gamers; Fortnite Save The World was canned because of the Battle Royale, Call Of Duty's traditional 6v6 MP is broken, half-assed, and placed second in priority because of Warzone- another Battle Royale, the Titanfall series was canned in favour of Apex Legends- another Battle Royale, Battlefield 2042 took a year to reach a playable and somewhat enjoyable state despite the fact that it was in development longer than other Battlefields and even today it still has fundamental problems that can't be fixed- why? Because although the devs won't admit it, leaks have suggested that 2042 in itself was suppose to be a Battle Royale, which If you consider the gameplay aspects, isn't hard to take as objective truth. You probably get where I'm going.
I never played BF3/4 and I wished i did on the early days of gaming, but unfortunately i live in a village with no internet until 2013 and no PC... Now with gaming laptop, this game is a perfect for me to feel about what makes BF3/4 so damn fun, and yep, this game easily delivers. I want this game to flourished in the future.
@meraioanvasile3635 well you never played them then Hahahahaha "In the beginning" m8 BF3 was a complete mess to start with, falling through the floor, shooting through rocks and don't get me started on BF4 which was a buggy broken mess for well over a year that EVERYONE hated Why you lying?
@@capolean2902 falling through the floor was VERY common on launch and an absolute "i cant play this game anymore" to me and many others (which is subjective lets be real, as 2042 and BF4 were fine on launch to some brainlets hahahahahaha), i have many many clips of it still to this day and theres plenty of evidence on youtube too and proning in front of rocks to shoot through them as indestructible cover was fairly common too, i still have clips of that too and there on youtube
Rather, isn't it popular *because* it's a small, $15 indie game? It's inexpensive, and the core game mechanics are locked in. Meanwhile, there's no game systems tacked onto it to milk the player. It's just the pure tac shooter everyone wanted out of Battlefield, with all the fat trimmed off.
ok so, SSG69 has an extended mag with 20 shots, you can carry 7 mags, for a total of 140 bullets. or L96 (my fav), which has 15 shots per extended mag, which gives 105 shots. combine this with medium range scopes (TRI4 X32 very good!) so that you don't get counter sniped and people don't understand where they get shot from and you can go on insane sniper streaks without having to worry about ammo. don't bother with M200 if you're not constantly going for 1000m+ kills. with the L96 and the TRI4 X32 you can still get 1400m kills too. I've always been extremely bad at sniping, in BF at least, and with long range scopes, because I get shot at before I even fired my first round. but with this setup I can literally stand on top of a rock and shoot so many people before anybody even notices me. very fun, try it!
@@hungvu262 it's ok for very close combat. But in hip fire mode your gun aims more towards the last aiming direction so if you aim left your bullets will go more to the left side. Equip laser and you will know how it works.
I feel the OG shooter era is coming back, possibly battlefield bad company 2 era and maybe some arena shooters for the competitive types, but the difference will be customisation and microtransactions.
It looks like you finally found Battlebit Remastered Krucial, I hope to see you inside the game. By the way we met inside a domination match in World War 3 game (my name in that game was HikariKage092) , I hope it can happen again inside this one also. Highly recommend this game since it blends the arcade shooter with mil-sim types games, not only that it also fits perfectly with your skills. See you on the Battlebit.
love the game, it compensates for its comprehensive mechanics on a large scale game amalgamating form the fps genre. BF fails to be a culmination of itself, 2042 no score board and being bare bones was the last straw. i fled and found Battlebit as a sanctuary 😊 its a great example like ToTK where gameplay matters.
we haven't had a game, since tf2 kinda died in around 2012, where we'd actually get together in a larger group to play, and everybody being excited about it. most games only had a small subset of our community playing it. things like rocket league, drg, factorio, gta:o, squad. they're all fun, but not for everybody. now that BBR has been released into early access, we're getting together every single evening to play it, and it seems everybody likes it so much that we are back as a larger group again. I am so happy about that and I can not wait for community servers so that we can re-live the good tf2 community times but in a new and fun game.
I really thought this video would be a discussion on a "new era of gaming" - that title pulled me in and I was intrigued to figure out what you meant by that, but overall it ended up feeling like an advertisement for BattleBit, and the soft conclusion you reached was that publishers are "starting to figure out what gaming is about" The video is well put together, but I think the title is misleading - you could've just said "BattleBit is the future of FPS" or something lol
Battlebit wasn't an indie game made by just 3 people. There have been indie games coming out left and right by, 3 people, by 5 people or even 1 person. Battlebit is an indie game made by Sgtokidoki, Vilaskis and Larry. Who all outshine other indie games and even 3a games.
i found my self going to Indi games more then AAA games i get a lot of time for the money i pay and it works the thing i think makes them so fun is just the devs dont have a time limit and they have the freedom to make new cool stuff
I think when I first saw Battlebit, I completely dismissed it as a Roblox clone. I then completely forgot about it after a few months or years, because I had already long checked out of Battlefield and CoD. When it remastered and released recently, it was perfect and pristine. While it is a cultural phenomenon right now, which is a testament of its own, I personally enjoy the extremely high quality of guns and gunplay.
People that require "top" graphics to play anything are responsible for a lot of the problems with AAA games. Hence Battlebit, made by 3 people, for the rest of us that want actual good games. For $15....
A lot of people misheard this sentence. I was saying it's a good sign that a AAA studio, like Ubisoft, is actually making an effort to make a good game. Wasn't saying that Ubisoft itself was good, or that the game was going to be
What I love about the game is that the grenades actually feel like they do something, they don’t feel like something that you just throw out there to distract you enemy, you can actually get kills with them.
Playing recon on battlebit feels awesome when you can flank an enemy and get 15 or so kills before they ever know what happened. Just such a great game.
Back when I was at school in the mid/late 90s, I did have many games I couldn't wait to get home to play. Quake, Warcraft 2, Red Alert, Duke 3D, Whichaven, Jagged Alliance, Carmageddon, Dungeon Keeper, Rollcage, Motoracer, GTA, and many others. Also I would often spend my time in classes drawing out maps for Warcraft 2 in my notebooks, so when I got home I'd pick the map editor and build them. :) So, I can't speak for current times, but back then the world was rich in games so tempting to play that you couldn't even...
I’ve always been a gamer. For years I have been feeling the same about gaming. I like getting online and playing a game, but there hasn’t been that excitement of getting off of work to play games. Rainbow six has been my default game for years. After recently talking to some friends again and now playing COD zombies, my excitement is coming back. I’ve been looking forward to completing Easter eggs and going for high rounds. COD may not be in the best place right now like MW2 (2022) but I’m excited to get to play XDefiant when it comes out! My love for gaming has been slowly rekindling.
It's funny that people forget that games like this have been out on the past. Like terraria, that game was pixels and 2D! And passing most games in its Genre. It pretty much goes like this. We all have are favorite type game and when we finally see are type have a low graphics but extremely high quality game that person thinks it's the first time this ever happened. It's just that AAA companies have 1000's of employees and will sadly cut corners on everything to make a profit and stay alive
I love the simplicity of battle bits. It’s cool to have amazing graphics and stuff but a simple game like this can be extremely fun, cozy, and relaxing in a way. I don’t have a pc but I would totally give it a try
I think the graphics are what make it possible for the game to be so fucking good. All these big studios are spending so much time and resources on a "pretty" product that there's little room for game depth. This game is all about depth, gameplay, and user experience. It's beautiful
being able to drag your downed teammate even enemies is the greatest feature in the game. as well the proximity chat. devs knew that it'll be toxic but that's where the fun at
i remember when battlebit was first being realest or beta. i thought it was going to be a small game still get a good amount of plays but maybe at its peek be as big as unturned. but it blew up first week and it was amazing to see a game like that blow up so fast it really shows how indie games by small companies are blowing up rn. games like pizza tower by a indie horror developer, battlebit, fricken undertale. its insane how such a simple game made by 1 person can blow up
@@dinnersam2121 the scope he's using is under the "medium" range category, so it doesnt have the hold breath feature. it still sways but only a fraction compared to regular scopes. it also doesnt have the scope glint, so your not broad casting your position to any enemy that is looking in your general direction.
I haven't played battebit or anything but to me it has like it also holds a small nostalgic value for a select few who play it- Hate it or love it, it has a lot of aesthetic similarities to roblox and specifically games like three massive roblox FPS experiences: Call of Robloxia 5, Battlefield but most importantly of all; Phantom Forces. Judging off the gameplay, it has a lot of similarities to the earlier years of the game that myself and a lot of my friends- who pretty much grew up playing the game- feel nostalgic for, as the currently playable version has (in our opinion) greatly degraded over the last couple years. As of where it differs, it feels to me like battlebit succeeded where PF hasn't: large maps and warfare. PF has always been a faster paced shooter, but with the intention of making it more like Battlefield than CoD and therefore only having fairly big maps with lots of vertical play, it evolved to be kinda cancerous to play, especially with RUclipsrs dedicating their lives to finding the best guns that fit the current gunfight meta that in turn create the hardest to counter guns/loadouts which are sadly only available to high ranks or people who wont mind spending a bunch of money on roblox of all games. With the game being now more than 8 years old, literally hundreds of guns and attachments and conversions, the game feels stale and oversaturated in content and Battlebit might be a nice breath of fresh air for the older Phantom Forces players and maybe even the game we actually wanted it to become.
I feel that the excitement for new games and most major popular games came out around 2012-2015 at last maybe? I still mostly play games from that era.
Agree with you about not craving a game I want to play. It was Hell Let Loose, but after the last update they ruined it for me. I will give this game a shot for sure!
Hey there! Former HLL Mod here. I play BattleBit daily now, because at its core, it's a fun experience. It's WAY more casual, but frankly, that's the relaxing part. Also, the game just works. No micro-transactions, no game-breaking bugs, no nonsense, just fun. After 5800 hours of HLL, I never thought I'd find another fun shooter. I hadn't played Battlefield since Battlefield 3! But BattleBit has me hooked. I would have paid $60 for the game, but for $15, it's a steal.
i recognized the sounds for the guns and effects from Battlebit lmao. They're from the zombie survival game "Unturned" which is pretty identical to Battlebit's style. Just a cool fact to know lol
I always had a certain game where I wanted to come home back from school to play it throughout the day as long as there isn't work standing inside my room. Now after like starting to study in a university and work beside it. Even if I find time, I think games have become so fricking bad and not picking me up anymore. I don't really have fun or motivation for any of them. I just come back home sit, open a can of sizzling cold water and watch Dr. House until its time to prepare my work stuff for tomorrow. I just randomly watch people like you to see what happened to the shooter genre to this date.
Most of the time, i get home i watch videos for an hour or two, and then i watch this one video of this one game and there it goes Bam i now know what i wanna play
I can't stand people comparing this to battlefield all the time and calling it better because of the 248 player gamemode. Well, duh - of course it's easier to implement multiplayer features of this scale when your game looks like unturned with a few extra polygons. Comparing this to battlefield is beyond ignorant taking into account the obviously superior graphics and thus the higher performance requirements. Not many people really say this out loud, but the battlefield everyone is blaming and complaining about while comparing it to battlebit is BF2042 which was obviously a failed game from the start - this is just another opportunity for people to laugh about the awful release. Everyone is completely overlooking the rest of the series, but primarily BF1. It's a game with both amazing graphics and relatively low requirements unlike battlebit which only posesses the latter. It also has good gunplay, well established classes, amazing atmosphere and immersion. It only really lacks the gigantic multiplayer gamemode and more advanced weapon customization in comparison to battlebit. People complain about lack of good fps games, glorifying battlebit while Battlefield 1 is right under their noses with an active and stable playerbase up to this day since the release.
What I love about the battle bit craze is realizing the call of duty bros are just realizing the indie scene exists. I rarely touch triple A games anymore. These devs are creating the games they wish existed. They know games and what makes them good.
Facts, from good aim mechanics too only kill requirements for skins, everything about this game so far is perfect. ps I lowkey like that you cant customize till ur in-game, keeps the lobbies flowing.
Combat masters is a really fun arcade style shooter on steam. It's free and, in my experience, is fully compatible with the steamdeck which is my main system for gaming right now
Great video. I’ve been surprised how much I’ve enjoyed Battle Bit Remastered. The gameplay focus is amazing. Graphics are just fine, for what they are. Why can’t we have both? Hopefully these guys get some funding, but keep the core gameplay elements in future updates or projects.
i was on vaccation for 5 days and I noticed something. You are responsible for how much you get hyped for a game. For example, I watched alot of r6 content late in the hotel and thats what gets you hyped. watching other people play a game
I had 176hrs on battlebit during the beta tests, It is absolutely incredible how far it has come. From the maps, to the bug fixes and the new weapons/attachements, They really did a good job and also good thing they made it paying, because the server cost for 127vs127 is like 5K to 10K so. totally should buy even if you say to yourself "but it's just a small indie game". I'm broke asf so I can't play it anymore, but I'll buy it as soon as I get the chance.
One thing I miss about the BF3 and CoD days was unity. It felt like if you were an FPS player, you played on of those two, and we'd banter and war, but I'd know this is the place where people are. BF4 still had that, but now battlebit has brought that back.
great commentary! I wholeheartedly agree! I don't have a default game, so I don't really know what to play when I feel like playing an fps game. I just have one slight critique. you... stopped commentating about 3/10ths into the video, and it was really abrupt. like, it took me halfway into the compilation of clips to realize there was no more commentary. it's not that I wish there was more commentary, the first three minutes was more than enough to get your point across. I just wish you would've transitioned smoother into it. I enjoyed watching the clips though, especially the VoIP where the entire lobby starts singing before the start of the match (that's geniunely what I want out of my games, dumb fun with friends), but I wish you'd given a heads up before I had to sit through a good chunk of the video waiting for more of your thoughts and opinions. regardless, I applaud you for putting out videos anyway. I struggle to find the courage or creativity to do so myself, so you creating content on this platform in the first place is massively appreciated. best of luck on your journey! p.s. great gameplay! makes battle bit really appealing, even though the gameplay, from a first glance, isn't for me. I'll check it out as soon as I'm not broke! cheers! -r
Well one of the most important things about being a youtuber is listening to feedback and understanding how I can improve. I've gotten a couple comments saying something similar, about just abruptly transitioning from commentary to gameplay. I totally agree lol now I try to make it more obvious that I'm done talking. Im also considering doing videos that are only commentary. Ya man, youtube isn't easy. It's been a really long journey for me, and I'm still no where near where I want to be. I always encourage people to do what they love though. If you enjoy making videos, make videos that you would enjoy watching and post them. If you continue to do that, making the best video you can, you'd be surprise how far you can go. Thanks man, good luck out there!
I recently tried Skyrim again, since last time I played it when I was still a kid in school. Now I'm just straight up addicted to it, embraced my autism, spent whole weekend playing just that, now when I'm at work, I just want to go back home and play some more. 50 hours in, only yesterday I unlocked full Fus Ro Dah, which happens early in the main storyline. So much things to do, discover, and if I don't like something - mods. If something is broken - mods. If I want more - mods. Praise be Todd, this is trully the best game ever, that I almost forgot about.
Battlebit to me has a bf3 ish feel but it plays like its own game. The voip is insane the amount of laughs ive had with random people at its only been a few days. Hats off to the creators because they made a roblox battlefield and its damn good. Activision and dice should be kind of embarrassed. Ps dragging dead enemies is the most fun thing to do🤣

I cannot wait for CS2, I’m a legendary eagle player who’s been playing on and off since 2014, I absolutely love CS and I’m so happy we’re going to see it around for years and years to come going forwards. I think CS2 is going to be THE shooter game to play as most other fps games are slowly dieing.
I have so many new fun games to play its hard to find time to play them all. 2023 is the first year since like 2016 where I've had so many new games to play.
That beginning intro is legitimately how I feel about this. It’s the first time I’ve thought “I can’t wait to play x” and not “I can’t wait to play with my friends.” I genuinely look forward to getting on it.

Might be in the minority but I consider BattleBits graphics a plus. Their is very little visual noise on screen making it easy to quickly make everything out. It also runs smoothly for having 250 players

Yylp cause tbh this game is bad. But then again I have a life and don't need a video game to get though the day. Sucks for these lowlife sit on ass all day fatasses who needs video games cause they literally do nothing all day

I think what you feel is schizophrenia m8 as thinking goobisoft will make any next amazing thing is insanity hahahahaha
That last one was my entire ow”2” experience summed up into one depressing bow

I drove from California to New Mexico to visit my Dad and I brought my pc. I was so excited to play battlebit when I was driving it was crazy. I felt like I was in 2nd grade again daydreaming about playing Minecraft all day
@@SomeGoodChips123 how are u 30 now? Did u play minecraft when it came out or something?
What we want is a game that, at its core mechanics and functionality, actually work. And this game provided that. A flawless launch, swift and visible cheater ban system, enjoyable gun play, solo and group play and a rewards/grimd system that actually feels rewarding. Not to mention each class' own customisation options. As someone who used to be against this graphic style, the skill level of the game topped with the feeling of never being too serious means im always having fun, whether its being mowed down or getting a killstreak
It wasn't a flawless launch m8, let's not lie, be honest
It had issues , and the reward grind was literally so bad the devs had to CUT THE GRIND IN HALF FFS
Overwatch maybe?
For all of you too young to have lived it, this is what BF2 felt like. They aren't exactly the same game, but how they feel to play is very similar.
This is what EA took from us.
Ya games before lazy streamers was around. Back when gaming was great and devs cared about gamers and not sponsoring streamers to push games.
Whats special about bf2?
Battlebit has also made me like a kid again in that sense. There's something magical about this game.

The whole community has come together over this and it's like we're all long lost brothers in game. The VOIP is unreal funny.
Battle bit is literally a bf4 reskin. Almost identical mechanic wise
Well Said m8 but it will never happen, gamers can't put their money where their mouth is
The average gamer is a drone m8 who consumes product then gets excited for next product and wastes 100's of dinero's on trash MTX
Why do you think the industry is in such an awful place it's never sank to before?!?!
Because gamers will support ANYTHING that clicks in their monkey brains hahahahahah
what this man said. Even when people bring up microtransactions the devs are like hell no

The begining of the video sounds like it's gonna be a long deetailed analysis of recent games, but then he just shows us his battle bit plays xD
One thing that doesn’t get talked about enough to me is how limited the UI is, so many modern games have things in every corner showing ability timers ammo health etc. it’s nice to not see all that clutter and it forces you to play with you team as you don’t know if you need heals or are out of grenades or bandages.
dude really turned a great video essay into his battle bit montage
Most of my videos, until this one, got around 1-10k views lol I now know that people want to see the video essay stuff more so I'm working on that. Thanks!
IM ON THE SAME page. i used to be a bf3, metro 24/7 grinder but when that game fell out of faze i went to apex because nothing else was good enough. This game has me longing for it like i did with bf3 . well made battlefield game with its own tactical twist. I love it.
Same except on BF4. Mained that game for a while
How exactly did you go to Apex and think "this is the only path" from Battlefield 3, the games are nothing alike and if anything Apex is just another trend follower, a trend that's ruined a sizable portion of games and gamers; Fortnite Save The World was canned because of the Battle Royale, Call Of Duty's traditional 6v6 MP is broken, half-assed, and placed second in priority because of Warzone- another Battle Royale, the Titanfall series was canned in favour of Apex Legends- another Battle Royale, Battlefield 2042 took a year to reach a playable and somewhat enjoyable state despite the fact that it was in development longer than other Battlefields and even today it still has fundamental problems that can't be fixed- why? Because although the devs won't admit it, leaks have suggested that 2042 in itself was suppose to be a Battle Royale, which If you consider the gameplay aspects, isn't hard to take as objective truth. You probably get where I'm going.
I never played BF3/4 and I wished i did on the early days of gaming, but unfortunately i live in a village with no internet until 2013 and no PC...
Now with gaming laptop, this game is a perfect for me to feel about what makes BF3/4 so damn fun, and yep, this game easily delivers.
I want this game to flourished in the future.
Had a similar experience, I didn't get much online gaming experience until 2012 or so

and proning in front of rocks to shoot through them as indestructible cover was fairly common too, i still have clips of that too and there on youtube
The question then becomes, what would you pay for a game like this?
@@krucialFPS A lot more than $15!
Pro tip, as sniper equip the normal armor and you will get more than double ammo
Making the kill marker last longer can make it serve as a reticle. Some benefits for close combat
ok so, SSG69 has an extended mag with 20 shots, you can carry 7 mags, for a total of 140 bullets. or L96 (my fav), which has 15 shots per extended mag, which gives 105 shots.
combine this with medium range scopes (TRI4 X32 very good!) so that you don't get counter sniped and people don't understand where they get shot from and you can go on insane sniper streaks without having to worry about ammo. don't bother with M200 if you're not constantly going for 1000m+ kills. with the L96 and the TRI4 X32 you can still get 1400m kills too.
Equip laser and you will know how it works.

we haven't had a game, since tf2 kinda died in around 2012, where we'd actually get together in a larger group to play, and everybody being excited about it. most games only had a small subset of our community playing it. things like rocket league, drg, factorio, gta:o, squad. they're all fun, but not for everybody.
now that BBR has been released into early access, we're getting together every single evening to play it, and it seems everybody likes it so much that we are back as a larger group again.
I am so happy about that and I can not wait for community servers so that we can re-live the good tf2 community times but in a new and fun game.

TF2 reached its peak not too long ago. It's not dead at all.
I really thought this video would be a discussion on a "new era of gaming" - that title pulled me in and I was intrigued to figure out what you meant by that, but overall it ended up feeling like an advertisement for BattleBit, and the soft conclusion you reached was that publishers are "starting to figure out what gaming is about"
The video is well put together, but I think the title is misleading - you could've just said "BattleBit is the future of FPS" or something lol
what kit are you using in this video
Battlebit wasn't an indie game made by just 3 people.
There have been indie games coming out left and right by, 3 people, by 5 people or even 1 person.

Battlebits graphics allow people with lower end systems to play as well as have a lower price to buy too. Huge plus for player count
i found my self going to Indi games more then AAA games i get a lot of time for the money i pay and it works
the thing i think makes them so fun is just the devs dont have a time limit and they have the freedom to make new cool stuff

The fact that its still in early access is what makes it even more impressive. It can only get better.

Last time I looked, Battlebit Remastered has sold 1.8 million copies.

I think the graphics are what make it possible for the game to be so fucking good. All these big studios are spending so much time and resources on a "pretty" product that there's little room for game depth. This game is all about depth, gameplay, and user experience. It's beautiful
I love battlebit for it's core mechanics... Because they're nearly identical to those of Phantom Forces, just done properly better

I haven't played battebit or anything but to me it has like it also holds a small nostalgic value for a select few who play it-
Hate it or love it, it has a lot of aesthetic similarities to roblox and specifically games like three massive roblox FPS experiences: Call of Robloxia 5, Battlefield but most importantly of all; Phantom Forces.
Though I am a graphics guy but not to the point where it overlooked the other parts of the game e:g gameplay

Battlebit Is my new hotness
Very well put together video :)
Glad you liked it!
People complain about lack of good fps games, glorifying battlebit while Battlefield 1 is right under their noses with an active and stable playerbase up to this day since the release.
the gameplay and graphics dont matter, i just dont want a game where people sweat their asses off every match and ruin everything
Who cares about graphics if the gameplay is shit? Battlebit is on par with Battlefield 4. BF1 is a WW1 fanfic.
What I love about the battle bit craze is realizing the call of duty bros are just realizing the indie scene exists. I rarely touch triple A games anymore. These devs are creating the games they wish existed. They know games and what makes them good.
Can you set lean left/right to he toggleable? I dont know any good keybinds for them and use Q/E, makes it hard to strafe of not toggle!😊

i wouldnt say that battlebits graphics are bad, i say its more of a artstyle
i was on vaccation for 5 days and I noticed something.
The proximity voice chat is a big selling point for me in Battlebit. I like being able to tease enemy players
great commentary!
One time, I went on battle bit and I said “I have a muffin” and started a discussion about the muffin man for the entire match
Battlebit to me has a bf3 ish feel but it plays like its own game. The voip is insane the amount of laughs ive had with random people at its only been a few days. Hats off to the creators because they made a roblox battlefield and its damn good. Activision and dice should be kind of embarrassed. Ps dragging dead enemies is the most fun thing to do🤣
The game I was thinking is during the intro is Stalker Gamma, a mod pack for a really old game. I’m 3 months in (game time) still on my first play through. I’m obsessed. The only new game I’m excited for is Stalker 2..
I bought battlebit after all this hype and stuff idk if it just has a bad beginning but my experience was just horrible not with cosmetic or anything but the settings and how I didnt see anyone and just got sniped 24/7 I coulndt do anything and I just refunded it
I cannot wait for CS2, I’m a legendary eagle player who’s been playing on and off since 2014, I absolutely love CS and I’m so happy we’re going to see it around for years and years to come going forwards.
