- This is a series of Tutorials that will help teach a number of useful skills and techniques for miniature painting using the Tankō Zensenbutai from Infinity by Corvus Belli.
This first video will help you learn how to prepare and assemble your Infinity Metal Miniatures in a way that will hopefully allow you to avoid difficulties and pitfalls when working with this medium.
thanks for explaining about tabs cause when asking google "what's the weird metal block on legs" it gave me nothing and cutting these off takes ages
Right. When you first encounter them they can seem quite confusing.
I’ve never washed my metal minis. And you know what?
The paint comes off the corners.
Now I know what to do. Thank you!
I also recommend sealing them with varnish. I use Vallejo matte or satin varnish. That will also help preserve them for longer.
@@ZombieSashimi thank you!
The mould release (more often than not) is just talc. A gentle scrub is all you need - it's not anywhere near as tenacious as the release agents used in resin casting by a certain UK company (that sticks to resin better than baby-crap to a blanket).
Thankfully I don’t have to deal with THoSE difficult to clean minis much. Just got TAG Raid and had a very relaxing time scrubbing the minis as I watched Dune for the second time.
What??? You don't polish with a wire brush? But you must! Once you see the super-shiny you'll never go back!
Also, subscribed.
....entirely due to the crass intro.
Ooooh. I shall have to give that a go! I want me shinies!
@@infectedmonkey473 Hehe.. and to think I thought it would probably lose me subscribers. Boy do I not have the finger on the pulse of RUclips!
@@ZombieSashimi Ha. If you want your finger on the pulse of RUclips when it comes to miniatures then start putting up thumbnails with your face doing goofy expressions and "OMG" in giant red letters, bang on about how so cool spaz marines are, gw this, warhammer that, it's OK to be a corporate meatshielding whale, etc...cut rant short. Your welcome.
