Perfect season for football in the state of Oklahoma. OU beats Texas. OSU beats OU. Everybody wins this year! Seriously, I had OU with 4 losses this year. The 7-0 start was not indicative of the progress made by the new coaching staff to completely rebuild the team. They need another couple of years to get the machine running again and then they may need another four years to figure out how to play in the SEC. It's basically going to be a long road to the 2030 season.

Seems inevitable, every school wants to be in the conference that will get them the most money, naturally. The Pac 12 is dissolving because of poor management and failed negotiations with tv/streaming networks. The big market schools will all probably eventually end up in 2 super conferences like most professional sports, and all the smaller market schools will be left to fend for themselves in low earning regional conferences that no one but the home fans care about. Frankly, college football seems like it's currently in a state where it doesn't really know what to do with itself

This is why we need big state rivalries, they can still prove to a be great sport to watch regardless of where they are ranked, as a bonus fans of both teams get to come and watch their team play even if it is against an away team. Now instead of this we are going to get big teams that rarely play teams that are regionally significant and still facing off against caliber teams (please no PSU vs U of O stuff). Now we get to just watch them on the TV by having them burn carbon emissions by flying to another time-zone to face off another powerhouse team.

I think it was just after the UT win when people started buying into the hype a bit too much, only to be brought down to earth now. the fact they were in contention shows the improvement from last year, not to mention they got a good win against a playoff-contending UT. could totally finish the season 10-2, though they better turn it around the next few weeks to achieve that. not to mention both losses will be to teams likely ranked in the final poll.

Imagine playing a team for about a hundred years and losing so much you storm the field after the few times you've actually won the game. I suppose that's the life of an Aggie. Good luck in the Big 8 or whatever your confrence is called.

Sad thing is that this is osu's natty they don't play for conference titles playoffs damn sure no national championships. They with the help of refs because they are leaving big twelve squeaked by a win. Congrats 😂. 119-20

OSU was ranked when this game happened (22), no idea why your title forgot to include that but included OU's rank, assuming it was to make OU look worse than they already do.
