Shes really nice, reminds me if Deb from Dexter. My only criticism, is she needs to get a little more comfortable in her delivery, and less mechanical. I think that will come over time. I am loving her as an addition though.

I don't know , but here in Qatar the IS300 Standard model , didn't have the mouse for the infotainment system, it had a wheel and was very easy and comfortable to use, I think all Lexus models should not have a mouse, because it is so weird to have one in a car

Yeah, I own a lot of Saabs and it's convenient for me and my wife both to have the cruise control and wipers/turn signals all in the same place. No matter what vehicle I take the layout is the same, so it makes switching vehicles convenient. Builds brand loyalty in my opinion, and Saab had a big fan base, Toyota/Lexus does as well.
If you cannot tell the difference between drive modes, then you should not be reviewing cars. Dampers, shift timings, and idle speeds are all affected. It's not like she pointed out that these things hadn't changed (they do); she just didn't care/know.
This IS300 are common or at least not rare on the North of Spain, where the roads have curves, we've rain and the roads are slim unless the highways to trip to Madrid, Euzkadi etc; impressive look with that outfit and the glasses, the sun shines two times on AZ.

I feel the AWD Lexus IS (Including GS, excluding the ES) is the most underrated AWD systems on the market today. You complain about the transmission yet it is arguably the best AWD system one can buy in a sedan.... "the IS250/350 AWD and GS350 AWD are using a planetary-gear center differential, plus a wet-type multi-disc clutch control to act as slip control. This is a very advanced and complex design. Because the multi-disc clutch can be 100% locked, it means Lexus’ AWD can handle the case that even front or rear wheels completely lose traction, than the rest side of the two wheels still have full power. The disadvantage of this design is it is complicated and the parts take space. Actually the IS/GS AWD are similar to an off road SUV - they have a separate transfer case to enclose the differential and the limit slip clutch unit."

Sarah's doing a great job. Would be nice to see her work more with the rest of the crew though. I'd love to see how she plays off of the other regular cast members. One thing I have to say...and I'm not directing this at Sarah...is that when auto makers were taking out physical buttons and putting all the HVAC stuff in the infotainment screen, journalists started complaining that they wanted the option to have buttons so they didn't have to go through layers of screen just to adjust the temp. Now auto makers having redundant physical controls and controls in the infotainment screen and this is probably the 5th review where I've heard a journalist say having the redundant controls is weird. It makes it pretty hard to take their opinions seriously when they are so fickle. Like...just stop lol
For me, it's like, why even put them in the infotainment system if the functions are the exact same as the buttons. I've had this car (2016 MY, that is) for a while and never touched the in-menu controls for that stuff. No point, I guess unless the buttons broke or something.

The thing with the german competitors and double clutch gearboxes: as far as i know Porsche and VW are the only ones still using them almost throughout their range. Audi gets more and more to torque converter gearboxes, BMW is switching to them, (in the M cars too) and the AMG MCT is a more or less a n automatic with an automated wet clutch instead of a torque converter.

TFL targets a different audience than SavageGeese. TFL's segments are shorter, quirkier, and have a noteworthy "fun" factor. If you put SavageGeese style car views on TFL, it would feel weird. Sarah's a bit forced right now, true, but she'll come along.

I think the F Sport looks better than the luxury model for sure, but the look is controversial. The best things about this generation of IS are probably the F Sport wheels and the Atomic Silver paint color. The red interior as well. I think they could have done better, but people do double takes all the time at this car.
I'm actually taking a hard look at the G70 after my time with my IS is up. It has most of the things I wish the IS had (more power, 360 camera, quilted seats...)

It's starting to get behind on tech, but to get a comarably equipped 3-series or C-class you will most definitely pay more than you would for an IS.
My 2018 S4 was about 3-4k more and its faster and a way way better looking car inside and out.
3 Series is so much better than this and it's funny because the 3 Series has been out since 2012, this generation Lexus IS has been out since 2014

I think the F Sport looks better than the luxury model for sure, but the look is controversial. The best things about this generation of IS are probably the F Sport wheels and the Atomic Silver paint color. The red interior as well. I think they could have done better, but people do double takes all the time at this car.

HOnestly I think the G70 Genesis looks more promising. Toyota better really pull of the supra or they are going to loose all credibility.
I'm actually taking a hard look at the G70 after my time with my IS is up. It has most of the things I wish the IS had (more power, 360 camera, quilted seats...)
