One thing I dislike about this game as a physicist is that they keep saying “volts of power” except power is measured in watts and is like the rate of flow of the electricity whereas volts is the measurement of potential difference which is basically the push behind the energy.
A physicist didn’t program the AI unfortunately….it has too much sass…though I wouldn’t claim to know many physicists. Unless you count a nuclear engineer…eh close enough.

The one thing I hate about higher education is that I notice errors a lot easier. Voltage is not a measurement of power, so when the game said 50V of power, it made me cringe a bit. Dont get me wrong, though. Voltage is a component of power, but by itself, it is not power. Power is generated by Voltage * Current, or we can describe it as V^2/R where R is the resistance of the circuit. Sry for my ramble.

I have to "kick myself" often when watching movies/series, cos I stop enjoying it and just focus on all the things they get wrong. Or when talking to people. Nobody enjoys it if you correct them too much or if you keep pointing out mistakes like these. Oh, man, it would be such a nice world to live in if our predecessors went for quality over quantity instead of the other way around. >_

I worked as an electrician in a huge BMW factory for a while. And no, you are not the only one. Games/movies not using them correctly only exacerbates the misunderstandings. I even came up with a very simple way to explain the difference between kW and kWh and it still didn't help. >_<
Some people just don't find this interesting or important to understand and they will just use the first term that comes to mind or it seems appropriate to them at the time.
