What do you recommend for me, bc I’m coming from Houston and kinda worried about the distance, and I seen so many videos about how to dorms aren’t that good, the fact it’s so expensive, and then I’m not in any sports or clubs, but next year my senior year, I’m joining a lot of stuff, but my grade in my first 2 years were not that good, but this year last semester I had a’s and b’s, this semester all A’s, and my sat was 1020, I don’t know if I would get in, and I don’t know if that’s where I rlly wanna be you know, idk just tell me what you would recommend
Gotta remember that every schools has its pros & cons. From what I’ve heard, Howard specifically looks at their application holistically, so try to make up for your flaws in other areas of your app. Just try your best to tell your story through your essay and communicate with the school who you are as a person. Finish your high school career out as strong as you can & don’t stress too much about your future. You’ll end up where your meant to be at the end of the day whether it’s Howard or not. Don’t be hard on yourself and try to do your best in every area. Don’t compare your journey! I’m not a Howard expert bc, I haven’t started my first yr yet but I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Keep researching schools and majors & I’m sure you’ll find something a little bit interesting. Remember you can always change your major
