Thank you soo much Kenya! I am a rising senior, hopeful future HU'26!! My gpa as of right now is a 3.28, planning on taking the ACT & SAT in a month & I just have a lot of different things I do inside and outside of school!
I think Cal Newport would have some valuable information in his books for learning. Wasn't big on Deep Work, but the guy seems extremely knowledgeable and a strong learner. I also definitely think trying out extracurricular activities is huge. I never did that and I was lost way longer than I think I should have been.
Yeah Straight A Student is really good. Definitely valuable beyond just studying for tests. Why do you think you didn’t try out that many extracurriculars?
Dang yeah that’s sucks. The good thing is at least you’ve started figuring things out now. I saw your IG post about reading 52 books in 11 months. That’s really impressive. But most importantly I’m sure you’ve learned so much about yourself from that experience.
@@KenyaChestnut One helpful tip, this video could of been split into three videos almost! Remeber you want a high retention rate to be promoted on youtube, so faster and shorter videos could help your percentage go up! I would say to try to keep videos between 5-10 minutes long if you can.
