I love your videos, I would like your advice, currently I want to be faster and more explosive, I am following a weekly division of, lower body / upper body / athletic day jumps etc / and I repeat lower body and upper body. Is that split okay, or am I cutting into my profits?
Can I do 2 sessions a week? Then one day each for upper and lower hypertrophy work or an upper and lower body french contrast on the other days? Thank you! It will be a big help I’m a pro bball player for the 🇵🇭
Interesting that you don’t go very high with the kettlebell on the swings. And you don’t touch your knee to the ground on the lunges. Any particular reason? Is there some benefit?
Thought I'd throw you an answer... so the kettlebell swing in and of itself is intended to be driven from the hinge (think explosive glute and hip engagement with the arms grasping the kettlebell merely being a loaded lever that reacts to said movement pattern being activated). While you will see a lot of folks turn the exercise into a pseudo lateral raise... that is not the intended function and turns it into an entirely different kinetic focus. With regards to not touching the knee to ground during the lunges... the primary reason is maintaining muscle contraction for the loading of explosive movement through activation of the stretch shortening cycle and overall better tissue recruitment (motor units) by improving that time under tension, both lend well for carryover to sport as almost all aspects of dynamic motion is driven from the ground up.

What exercise should I do if I am too heavy for the Split Stance Jump?
Are you saying to do each block 3 times, or do you just mean do the 3 sets of every block movement once before moving on?
It’s basically a superset or triset. Do A1, A2 and A3, rest a few minutes then repeat 3x then move to the next block

Please guide us Sir❤
