It was much more charming and quirky, the original host had a stronger personality. It used to air on another channel, BBC One, and ran throughout the 80's and 90's. This version, for Channel 5, didn't really take off at all.
Pretty soon, Going for Gold won't be the only BBC One show to have had a reboot on Channel 5. Gino's Win Your Wish List begins this summer, from the creators of Blind Date.

Well you didn't do a very good job of it, as I can see at the end of the parts, the gaps. I uploaded this in 2008 and took a lot to do back then. Not for you to just take it! Find your own videos in future instead of stealing them from others.

I see where the pilot for the US attempt for the show came from. I like it, wish it did come to the USA. Our pilot was run for the money.

Sadly this was not a patch on the original Henry Kelly version.
