I think they need to make separate parts of arkham to add on and each part has cells for the more forgotten characters such as man bat clay face and killer Croc and bane

I'm just wondering why Penguin is in this set. In the comics and games Penguin goes to Blackgate, not Arkham. I guess he's just there to help break the psychos out with Harley

if you have the batcave that was released around the same time, there is a matching red phone that is suppose to be a hotline between arkham and the cave ;) love that touch
The joker kiss picture next to Quinn's hat is a reference to batman ark ham city, because in the steel mill there is a picture of him with a kiss saying I love joker
I think the modular build was so that if you were to hypothetically get two of the set, you could make (Almost) the full building, not to mention you'd have two gotham police officers and two trucks as well.

Nice review! Before I didn't really like this set but after hearing your thoughts on it, my perspective changed. It's different when MOC makers (like you) review sets and when regular collectors review sets. I much prefer watching reviews from the former, but not to take anything away from the collector reviewers, some of them have a good eye for detail and would also comment on the construction process. Keep it up! P.S. I hope you would also do Marvel set reviews :) peace!
Such a cool set with so many interesting builds, the handcuffs used as garnish for the circular window is a nice touch. I'd love to have this, but I'm sure the secondary market prices are insane, so it'll have to remain a dream for now. :/

The set is pretty decent. My only complaint is the scarecrow and the penguin, I don't like the new design, especially the penguin, he has the baby face and kinda takes away the seriousness, but styles change overtime so I can't get too mad at lego. Overall, the set is great!
This one is much much better. The newer one has a car that belongs in the Simpson’s, snow on the roof looks awful while this one is very very nicely done.
I for one would choose the newer one. While this one looks great from the outside and captures the gothic look really well, the 2017 version has more space and more details on the inside. It also has better minifigs. I do love the vehicle in this one though. All in all, it depends on what you're looking for. If you're after a display model, both look good but this one might be a bit better. If you want playability for a kid or want more details for the inside, then you should probably go for the 2017 one.
I think this is up there in "best lego sets" because of all the detail that you have but mainly the price because for all you get here now lego seems like it would be more.

You know with that set if you have other batman related sets and pieces of your own you could make the Asylum even bigger have more cells more room for other figures and make great scenes like with the Batman Asylum Videogame (Where Joke is I control of the Asylum and is making mutants) that be cool

They need to update this and I’m not talking about the 2018 version as I hope they update this set

Mr Freeze's cell is a reference to the Batman and Robin film.
10:50 I added a few pieces and changed the color-scheme on that truck to orange and white, and turned it into a custom ambulance!
