I think you need to move your red marker to your 20 yard mark first with your wheel, lock in and find your 20 just moving the housing bracket ,once find your 20 yard then you can start to find your 30-40-50-60 moving the wheel.

you can move the sight housing down with 2 set screws on the rail that the housing slides on. i set my dial on the 20 and adjusted my 20 to it so i can get the most distance out of it.

I have one of these on one of my bows. You will get more distance from the sight if you use the 2 small set screws ro move your housing to set your 20 yard mark then you will have the rest of the bar to use for the other distances.

I have the old pro model with the crosshairs and rheostat light on the cross. It’s great for night hunting pigs from my ladder stand.

The directions say to not turn the wheel at 20 yards......

you're supposed to use the red line for the yardage not the black bulky knob. you can be off a little and never know with the bulky one but not the precise line.

Can you be more in depth on sighting the sight in? Like you state things, by dropping your sight for your 20 and I’m going by that black sight marker on the housing, but trying to track I’m not following. I’m literally shooting high still at 20 so like I’m not sure what is going on lol. I just want this 100 percent done correctly.

I have the 4 pin covert slider model and it took us a while of playing with it to figure it out. Thing is dead on at 20 now though. Remember to start as high as you can so you can get the most possible range out of your shot.

@@tylerdzugan9596 man, I got it going finally but I even reached out to the company and they wouldn’t help at all. Send me the packaging that shows how to set it up or anything. This video was definitely the most helpful, more than likely be going to something different next year maybe. It’s not broke so why fix it, but I won’t be purchasing their products again.

I just got my Covert pro in the mail and installed in that past 30 minutes. I called Apex and they have zero customer service. I asked about mounting instructions since there were none in the package. Short and sweet answer was "see a bow tech or I can help you with returns". Nothing more. Since they are so willing to help with returns, they can return this one.

Who ever taught you to shoot did NOT do u any favors at all. Watch a few videos of the pro class at some 3-d events and see what they do. String does not go on the side of your nose. And punching that release isn’t good. Seriously, Mr. You won’t believe how much great form and technique will improve your shooting. Check out “ bow only outdoors “ and look at his learning videos on release use. Look at his style of shooting and aiming. I guarantee that if you will commit a few hundred arrows working to copy his technique you will be amazed at your consistency and accuracy every shot. GOOD LUCK!👍👍

      1. Touching the bowstring with your nose is very helpful especially if that is his anchor point, which it is and he has very light pressure on it the fore it isn’t torquing any of his shots.
2.if you watch closely you will see he is using his thumb release as a back tension. The “punch” you see is the pressure from holding at full draw being realizes causing the violent jolt of his hand.

I’m late but there’s this thing called a nose button that you can put on your bow string that helps you get in place like a mouth button

Drop the wisker bisket and your shots will be more consistent. Invest in a better rest.

That is the most garbage thing ive ever heard rests are trash if its paper tuned it doesnt matter what you shoot
