I think Hizaki is the kind of player who can play amazingly fast but choses not to for the most part, you can tell that he doesn't want to sacrifice how good his music sounds. Especially when you watch their live stuff and they can play it all flawlessly, whereas other bands try too hard in CDs and come nowhere near as close live.
Teru's picking had is abnormal lol, just look at how he uses his fingers as pivots on the bridge. He looks so tense compared to Hizaki's. Don't get me wrong though, they're both amazing!!

awsome guys!!, Hizaki plays really great rythem it seems and plays soulful solos and can play fast when chooses to and Teru is more of a speed freak but i think he needs to try a bit more of lagato style with some scales, more or less hammer on and pull offs, and try linier notes some instead of all staccotto and it will be another kind of smooth scales for him, but both these guys together playing on stage and in the studio are a GODLIKE talent and they should be blessed to do this.. heiwa!!!!!!!!!

Learn how to read tabs, download tuxguitar free tab reading software, search band tabs on ultimate-guitar(dot)com, and just start attempting to play little by little. Also, watch live videos of the songs so you can see how the musician plays. It's going to take commitment, practice, and some time.

Sounds like it's based on the Faith & Decision Eb Minor chord progression :]. It's the one just before the vocal entrance. Mixed with the other cool chords often used by Hizaki. His lead sounds great here... however the rythms are a bit moody :
I'm learning by copying their pick position (between thumb and first knuckle of pointer finger) and the techniques they use. Don't use ultimate-guitarDOTcom, that site sucks. Use songsterrDOTcom. Also, I try to do some of the trickier stuff with a metronome, like the hammer ons at 1:30. Watch out, though! Going too fast will make your fingertips hurt like nobody's business xD And don't forget, they're gods. Don't freak if you can't do it all now- I know I can't! It's a time and practice thing :)

Seriously though, go for an Ibanez for about 300€ and you'll have a guitar as good as one for 1000€ from a different brand. I've got an Ibanez GRGR121EX and it's amazing considering what I paid for it.
Does anybody know which scale Hizaki used after he/she finished the chord progression?? I'm not sure but I think he/she is using a D#minor scale... What do you think??? :/
just wondering, but does the full video teach you how to do these type of things? and do pardon my other question, but do you know anywhere I could learn how to play jrock songs? or at least similar techniques? I recently started elec and I really want to learn is it possible that you have any tips? thanks ^^
There's not anywhere where you can exactly learn as the techniques are the same everywhere else, but there are tons of tabs and covers for Japanese songs online
Teru is not clean at all, you have bad ears. I mean, I like Teru and I admire them a lot, but Teru is very sloppy... He's not clean, he's technique has too much tension
both guitarists stand out not because of their looks but for their excellent guitar skills, i believe the first one hizaki played was a different take on jupiter' s nostalgie.

Sí, Teru toca muy tensionado y con muchos errores principalmente cuando toca rápido, porque él intenta ser rápido por medio de esfuerzo y tensión, y es eso lo que lo lleva a cometer errores. Si tú analizas buenos guitarristas en shredding ellos siempre son muy relajados

My picking is similar, very very very similar to Hizaki's.
