I have eaten at crystal palace and I’d just like to say: •The Food was pretty good! • The dessert was what truly made the meal worth it! • THE CHARACTERS ARE GREAT AND I LOVE THEM! •Eating pork while piglet walks around feels weird.
Had breakfast at Crystal Palace in January. I went for the the character experience not expecting the greatest in terms of the food. I was actually pleasantly surprised. While it's not four star dining you get all the basics and I found it to be fresh and well prepared.
I realize there is a lot of hate for Tony's, but my experience there was freaking amazing. Hubby and I went for our honeymoon... Disneybounding as Lady and Tramp! So - of course we wanted to go to Tony's. We took some amazing pictures. Even though the kids menu says it's only for pups, the cast member said, we could order the spaghetti and meatballs. She also took photos for us! (Seriously! So many photos.) She noticed our outfits and Celebration Buttons, and congratulated us - all that good stuff. Then... before the check, she brought out cards and said "Lady and Tramp are busy cooking in the back, but they wanted me to give these to you!" Lady and Tramp pawprints and signatures, congratulating us on our nuptials. (I'm tearing up just thinking about it.) THEN! I couldn't stop looking at the menu, I was literally thinking this would be great to put in our 'Disney Honeymoon' shadow box. The server leans over to me and says... "You know, those menu's go missing all the time, I'm just going to leave it here and magically forget about it." We reported her.... for being so AMAZING!

My partner and I dressed up as Lady and Tramp too!! It was for Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party!!! And we decided to eat here for lunch 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 not as magical of an experience as yours, but great minds think alike...
I used to work at disney in college it was an oppurtunity for us avaliable so I decided to take it up and one of the job choices were for restraunts and i worked at caseys for a bit! It was a good place and i recommend it
Be Our Guest has the most wonderful food and amazing atmosphere. I looked for months and months and couldn’t get a reservation BUT someone cancelled last minute and I got in the day of!!!! I love that place
Nunn Ya my family has trouble with the food, so we’re not going back, but the desert and atmosphere were to die for. The food doesn’t cater to kids who are picky

I had dinner there circa 2015 and had some sort of cous cous thing and thought it was absolutely VILE. I chalk it up to a poor choice on my part, although the atmosphere and dessert made the experience well worth it
I don’t know when your visit was or what time of day, but I went in August 2019 for a lunch reservation and there were literally 2 menu items out of about 17 or 18 that contained nuts. Everything else was fine so I had scallops to start, beef tenderloin for a main and ‘The Clock Strikes Twelve’ for dessert. Absolutely fine and the servers are always more than happy to help if you tell them you have an allergy. There’s even a separate allergy friendly menu, as I recall.
I watched this whole video just to find out if Liberty Tree Tavern was listed. We've only been to DW and LOVED Liberty Tree Tavern. Food, service and seating all excellent
We finally tried Liberty Tree Tavern on this trip (in previous years, we skipped MK restaurants cuz we like to have a drink with a meal... well now we can!) - it was some of the best theme park food, but that OOEY GOOEY TOFFEE PIE was LITERALLY the best dessert ever. We'll be dreaming about that toffee! Glad you said it was the best.
For someone who has been going to Disney World for nearly 25 years, I will always make sure to eat at Tony’s and Crystal Palace. Casey’s is probably my favorite place to eat at Magic Kingdom.
Last year I went to Be Our Guest for lunch and Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch as well on your recommendations and both were FANTASTIC meals! Definitely do the lunch at Be Our Guest delish! Liberty Tree food was great with awesome service. Thanks!!

THIS RIGHT HERE! Yes!!!! Eating with the characters is SUCH a memorable moment. I can’t emphasize it enough: if you’ve never done this with your kiddos, PLEASE try a character meal, even if you have boys and/or older children! Your kiddos WILL love it, regardless of age or gender.
Allison Anderson So true!! Age and gender shouldn’t dictate whether or not you do character meals! We did a princess meal and had a little boy in our party, Jasmine came up to him and kissed him on the cheek, it was the most memorable part of the trip!
I absolutely love Liberty Tree Tavern, it's definitely my favorite restaurant at the Magic Kingdom. I have never been so full in my life when leaving that restaurant.
Tip for caseys corner! If you have a baby or small kids take your lunch into the baby center and eat in there they also have high chairs for the little ones and AC I've found this to be the easiest since seating is hard to find and I usually go alone with my toddler since I'm a single mom
I just went to Disney this past August with my boyfriend and two of our best friends and I have to say going as a 24 year old is SO amazing! We had booked a few reservations and left a few of our days open to whatever may happen. On our third day there, we were picking a restaurant for the next day and there was an open spot for Be Our Guest! I started screaming that someone needed to book it and we got it! To say we lucked out completely is an understatement. We also went to the Crystal Palace and both experiences were amazing. I also got to pop into Columbia Harbour House with just my boyfriend for lunch and we both had really great lobster rolls. I don't know if we'll ever be able to duplicate the pure magic of this past trip but I know I'll be going back with alot of your advice from the videos I've just watched in the past week!
Our experience at Liberty Tree Tavern was also AMAZING!! We went there on Thanksgiving day about 6-7 years ago and it was great. The food was outstanding. They made a squash/Brussel sprouts dish that my mom loved. The waitress gave her the recipe!! We still make that dish!!
Just went to Pinocchio Village Haus a couple weeks ago for a snack. Ordered fries and asked that they be fresh and hot (who likes lukewarm fries?). The young man ["young man"] who took our order assured me that they would be. So, when we got our order, I taste tested a fry: bleh! so I asked for hot fries and was told 'no problem!" Was given another order of lukewarm fries, so I gave up. I asked the young man where we could find the catsup and he said, "I'll show you!" -- He was extremely pleasant - and he asked how the fries were. I said, "they're alright." Well! He insisted on getting us really hot fries! Said he'd given his word and he'd be right back. Sure enough, he came back with really hot fries for us! Wasn't that the nicest thing? So Pinocchio Village Haus gets a big high 5 from us!
@Erica Ewen - Yes, they are! My daughter is disabled and has lots of health problems, so it was a special day for us to be able to be out and go to the Magic Kingdom . She was so excited - so when we wanted a snack, she asked for some hot (emphasis here on 'hot') french fries. So it was especially nice when this young man was so kind to us. It's folks like that who make it "the happiest place on earth."
I LOVE Liberty Tree Tavern. It is AMAZING.! Tip: Don't eat this and then go on Big Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain. I swear I'm saving your gut some trouble.
I don’t know... I think Be Out Guest is definitely Top 3. I’ve been to half of these and none compare. But I do agree with harbor house. Every time I’ve been there it’s empty and it’s so good!
We really like Columbia Harbor House. I have food allergies and they are always so friendly and accommodating. Also love to sit upstairs with a view yay.
Cosmic Rays is by far one of my favorite restaurants. I've never had bad service, it's busy because, well, it's at Disney world, and they give you incredible service.
Whenever we go there we sit up top and there’s like 2 other families but lately we have to put two tables together and borrow chairs from other peoples tables because of the big talk about the upstairs

As a vegan I just want to let y’all know Pacos Bills Casey’s corner And even the friars nook have great options But my all time favorite will ALWAYS ALWAYS be liberty tree tavern, the cast members here are just amazing and will make every single exception for you. The menu can seem a bit scary because of the whole family style thing but your cast member will make exceptions and are so good at listening to your needs (if your worried walk in ahead of time and ask they will give you a menu and explain. Ask about the vegan meatloaf!!) It’s my favorite restaurant in ALL the parks and definitely magic kingdom!
I went to Be Our Guest in April 2019 and had a great dinner even my 11 year old niece like it and she is picky. I got the steak with red wine sauce and for appetizer we got the crab bisque
We discovered Liberty Tavern on our last Disney trip and wondered how we had never heard of it on previous trips! It is our favorite by far! The food was all good, especially the roast beef and pasta dish(forgot what it is called). The ooey gooey dessert is fantastic!
Love your videos but this one has a lot of outdated information. For example they stopped the ordering bays at Cosmic Rays two months ago. You can now order the entire menu from every window.
I too was wondering if this video had been done at an earlier date. I believe all three bays at Cosmic Rays starting serving the same thing last year...
My go-to quick service are usually Pinocchio Village Haus and Cosmic Rays. I love how the detail inside Pinocchio Village Haus and like how you can get pasta or pizza quickly. Mostly quick service are typically burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, etc. On my next trip I hope to try Columbia Harbor House and The Plaza Restaurant. For table service I love Crystal Palace and Be Our Guest.
I'm with you - Liberty Tree Tavern all the way for my favorite! Ate there for my birthday a few years ago and it is a must do for our family every time we go
i might have just gotten extremely lucky last time i went to magic kingdom but we didnt make a reservation for be our guest but randomly we went up to the host at the front as walk-ins and were able to get our name on the list for dinner later that day. not only did we randomly get a table, we also got one in the main dining room which was really great! all of the entrees we got were really good and i also tried the grey stuff desert and it was surprisingly amazing!
Solid list. My son and I agree with most of it. (even the dirty feeling at Cosmic Ray's) When the video started we said to each other " I hope Liberty Tree is number one!" AND IT WAS!!! lol That place is the hidden gem of Disney Restaurants IMO and never disappoints. A little known aspect is to be the "official family for the day" which we've done. When the place opens for the day at lunch you can ask the staff to ring the bell. Your family will get together at the steps and ring a hand held 1700's style bell and say in unison "Hear Ye Hear Ye! The Liberty Tree is now open! " It's just a cool little thing that only one family per day gets to do. Adds to the special... Thanks for the vid. We enjoyed it!

Ohana is one of the very few restaurants which I consider so good that I will allow myself to eat too much, and my weight hasn't changed in 40 years. I weigh less than when I ran track in high school. Food - amazing; service - like having your own personal waiter; atmosphere - just plain fun.
Lol it's because in order for it to be in "show" and historically accurate the bathroom can't technically be in Liberty Square because that time period didn't have indoor restrooms so those aren't technically in that area of the park. :) Keys to the Kingdom factoid
We went to Liberty Tree Tavern on our first day and it was GREAT! Needless to say we were disappointed day after day with the rest of our table service meals. We were expecting the others to be just as good and they all fell short.
Dinner at Be Our Guest was a “magical” experience. I enjoyed the food, and my crumb snatchers loved seeing the dessert cart, and choosing their dessert. It was good!

I went to be our guest (it was the only restaurant my family went to because I was really wanting to go) and my Mum's card wasn't working on the disney app so we walked in for dinner at the time we wanted explained what happened and got in not a problem plus we all thought the food there was the best!
I really liked Skipper Canteen. I have been twice. My service was great and I enjoyed my food. Imo I'd put it above Pecos Bills, which to me is just super basic nachos and tacos.
I just recently tried skipper canteen too and loved it. The Kongalush is probably my new favorite dessert across all properties. My only complaint was that my partner got the seafood stew and the portion was way too small. But I will definitely go back.
That's my favorite restaurant! The first time I tried the Vietnamese Pho and you could smell the ginger and lemongrass long before the server made it to the table. Sooo good!
I loved Skipper's Cafe! I was a huge fan of the Adventurer's Club, and found more than a bit of that atmoshere there. It had delicious, exotic offerings. I, an omnivore on a budget, and my cousin, a vegan, had good choices that we both enjoyed. And, make sure you look closely at the bookshelves between the front and back dining rooms. Hysterical! The waitstaff will have fun engaging with customers with a little encouragement, with a bit of that Jungle Boat humor.
Yay, Liberty Tree!! When I was a cast member it was one of the first locations I worked and one of the first restaurants I ate at. So many wonderful memories. Heart broken to hear the characters are gone.
Least Favorite: Mickey Mouse shapes soft pretzel. They use wheat flour. It’s just not as good as the white flour we are used to. Favorite: cosmic rays starlight cafe. Their BBQ pulled pork bacon cheese burger is good. Plus with their toppings bar I can add as much sautéed mushrooms and jalapeños that I want.
It's so true that Casey's has limited seating but my fiance and I love it! We always choose to go sit on the turf with our trays because almost no one thinks of it and we always have a great view of the parade from there!
Cosmic Ray's is hands down one of my favorite places to eat at Disney! it's affordable with good portions. I'd say with the half chicken it's a good deal. (plus Sonny is fantastic)
Disagree with you on Be Our Guest. Each Time I have eaten there it has been a fabulous dinner. This selections are varied and each and every item on the menu is scrumptious. I absolutely recommend the grey stuff (it’s delicious...)! I did not like their breakfast or their lunch. I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding liberty tree Tavern. I make it a point of always eating there or each trip. The food is consistently fabulous and the service is very good also.
From your suggestions, I did harbor house. Great MK counter service! so appreciated that I could ordered off the app, Man that was a time saver second MK day! did both MK lunches there.
I ate at the princess table back when I was eight years old with my mom and I still remember it to this day. I loved it so much meeting all of the princesses.

Everyone remembers their first Mickey shaped butter!! I remember seeing it at the restaurant in the Land -- now it's Garden Grill, but I honestly can't remember the name back in the 80s. I need to google it!
I love that you mentioned Casey's Corner. I oversaw the rehab from Refreshment Corner to Casey's Corner when I was a manager on Main Street in the mid 1990's. I still remember all aspects of that rehab and the location remains close to my heart while I was working at Disney.
My partner and I went to Cinderella’s Royal Palace for Valentines Day when we were there in 2014 and it was hands down our best meal at Disney World. It was such a fantastic experience. Also we were able to get into Be Our Guest for lunch without a prior reservation because our hotel got us a spot there somehow. It was an awesome trip.
Also coming from Australia, the prices everywhere at Disney World we’re pretty reasonable, basically the same we’d pay at home. I think we payed $60 each for the Royal Palace which was outstanding for what we got.
My aunt used to work at Liberty Tree (she works at Crystal Palace now), so it had a special place in my heart. So does Pinocchios even though it’s not very high on the list (it was one of the few things my then 2 year old nephew would eat on his first trip, lol).
I really liked Tony’s the last time we were in Magic Kingdom! The food was good and we got a table outside to watch a parade so that was a plus. Also, I think it is one of the few places to get beer! Very necessary on a hot afternoon! 😉

We have enjoyed Tony's a number of times, and my wife is an Italian who makes terrific sauce, so I know Italian. Tony's is darned good.

Every time I go to the Magic Kingdom, I always have lunch at the Columbia Harbor House. I love that place.

Harbor House is a MUST best quick meal restaurant in Magic Kingdom hands down. Upstairs view over Liberty Square is very fun!

Allison Anderson So true!! Age and gender shouldn’t dictate whether or not you do character meals! We did a princess meal and had a little boy in our party, Jasmine came up to him and kissed him on the cheek, it was the most memorable part of the trip!
Exactly! Crystal Palace was better than she made it out to be. We're going again this year because when you have kids, character meals are a must!
I love Tonys. I never had a bad time there and its so cute how they have Lady and the Tramp theam and there foods great as well.

I absolutely love Liberty Tree Tavern, it's definitely my favorite restaurant at the Magic Kingdom. I have never been so full in my life when leaving that restaurant.
Tip for caseys corner! If you have a baby or small kids take your lunch into the baby center and eat in there they also have high chairs for the little ones and AC I've found this to be the easiest since seating is hard to find and I usually go alone with my toddler since I'm a single mom
I like Starlight Rays because it's good if you are in a hurry to get to your next fast pass so you can just get chicken nuggets and fries.
We got to go upstairs to toll the bell and yell "Hear ye, Hear ye, the bell tolls for thee!" when we visited Liberty Tree Tavern---- Memories:)
I just went to Disney this past August with my boyfriend and two of our best friends and I have to say going as a 24 year old is SO amazing! We had booked a few reservations and left a few of our days open to whatever may happen. On our third day there, we were picking a restaurant for the next day and there was an open spot for Be Our Guest! I started screaming that someone needed to book it and we got it! To say we lucked out completely is an understatement. We also went to the Crystal Palace and both experiences were amazing. I also got to pop into Columbia Harbour House with just my boyfriend for lunch and we both had really great lobster rolls. I don't know if we'll ever be able to duplicate the pure magic of this past trip but I know I'll be going back with alot of your advice from the videos I've just watched in the past week!
Our experience at Liberty Tree Tavern was also AMAZING!! We went there on Thanksgiving day about 6-7 years ago and it was great. The food was outstanding. They made a squash/Brussel sprouts dish that my mom loved. The waitress gave her the recipe!! We still make that dish!!
Cinderella's royal table has always been amazing for us! My mom has always loved breakfast there, it's a tradition that's been in the family since 96!

Just went to Pinocchio Village Haus a couple weeks ago for a snack. Ordered fries and asked that they be fresh and hot (who likes lukewarm fries?). The young man ["young man"] who took our order assured me that they would be. So, when we got our order, I taste tested a fry: bleh! so I asked for hot fries and was told 'no problem!" Was given another order of lukewarm fries, so I gave up. I asked the young man where we could find the catsup and he said, "I'll show you!" -- He was extremely pleasant - and he asked how the fries were. I said, "they're alright." Well! He insisted on getting us really hot fries! Said he'd given his word and he'd be right back. Sure enough, he came back with really hot fries for us! Wasn't that the nicest thing? So Pinocchio Village Haus gets a big high 5 from us!
Dear God, I think I would blow my head off if I worked at one of the restaurants at Disney World and had to deal with so many annoying people.
@Erica Ewen - Yes, they are! My daughter is disabled and has lots of health problems, so it was a special day for us to be able to be out and go to the Magic Kingdom . She was so excited - so when we wanted a snack, she asked for some hot (emphasis here on 'hot') french fries. So it was especially nice when this young man was so kind to us. It's folks like that who make it "the happiest place on earth."

I don’t know... I think Be Out Guest is definitely Top 3. I’ve been to half of these and none compare. But I do agree with harbor house. Every time I’ve been there it’s empty and it’s so good!

Cosmic Rays is by far one of my favorite restaurants. I've never had bad service, it's busy because, well, it's at Disney world, and they give you incredible service.

But my all time favorite will ALWAYS ALWAYS be liberty tree tavern, the cast members here are just amazing and will make every single exception for you. The menu can seem a bit scary because of the whole family style thing but your cast member will make exceptions and are so good at listening to your needs (if your worried walk in ahead of time and ask they will give you a menu and explain. Ask about the vegan meatloaf!!) It’s my favorite restaurant in ALL the parks and definitely magic kingdom!

I went to Be Our Guest in April 2019 and had a great dinner even my 11 year old niece like it and she is picky. I got the steak with red wine sauce and for appetizer we got the crab bisque
We discovered Liberty Tavern on our last Disney trip and wondered how we had never heard of it on previous trips! It is our favorite by far! The food was all good, especially the roast beef and pasta dish(forgot what it is called). The ooey gooey dessert is fantastic!
Love your videos but this one has a lot of outdated information. For example they stopped the ordering bays at Cosmic Rays two months ago. You can now order the entire menu from every window.

The Plaza is my favorite with the comfort food menu, reasonable prices and the view of the castle lighting if you are there at dusk.

My go-to quick service are usually Pinocchio Village Haus and Cosmic Rays. I love how the detail inside Pinocchio Village Haus and like how you can get pasta or pizza quickly. Mostly quick service are typically burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, etc. On my next trip I hope to try Columbia Harbor House and The Plaza Restaurant. For table service I love Crystal Palace and Be Our Guest.

I'm with you - Liberty Tree Tavern all the way for my favorite! Ate there for my birthday a few years ago and it is a must do for our family every time we go
i might have just gotten extremely lucky last time i went to magic kingdom but we didnt make a reservation for be our guest but randomly we went up to the host at the front as walk-ins and were able to get our name on the list for dinner later that day. not only did we randomly get a table, we also got one in the main dining room which was really great! all of the entrees we got were really good and i also tried the grey stuff desert and it was surprisingly amazing!

Solid list. My son and I agree with most of it. (even the dirty feeling at Cosmic Ray's) When the video started we said to each other " I hope Liberty Tree is number one!" AND IT WAS!!! lol
That place is the hidden gem of Disney Restaurants IMO and never disappoints. A little known aspect is to be the "official family for the day" which we've done. When the place opens for the day at lunch you can ask the staff to ring the bell. Your family will get together at the steps and ring a hand held 1700's style bell and say in unison "Hear Ye Hear Ye! The Liberty Tree is now open! " It's just a cool little thing that only one family per day gets to do. Adds to the special...

Ohana is one of the very few restaurants which I consider so good that I will allow myself to eat too much, and my weight hasn't changed in 40 years. I weigh less than when I ran track in high school. Food - amazing; service - like having your own personal waiter; atmosphere - just plain fun.
Cosmic Ray’s my fave. Since I was like, under 10? So somewhere around 26 years. Best place for kids!

We went to Liberty Tree Tavern on our first day and it was GREAT! Needless to say we were disappointed day after day with the rest of our table service meals. We were expecting the others to be just as good and they all fell short.
Dinner at Be Our Guest was a “magical” experience. I enjoyed the food, and my crumb snatchers loved seeing the dessert cart, and choosing their dessert. It was good!

I went to be our guest (it was the only restaurant my family went to because I was really wanting to go) and my Mum's card wasn't working on the disney app so we walked in for dinner at the time we wanted explained what happened and got in not a problem plus we all thought the food there was the best!
I really liked Skipper Canteen. I have been twice. My service was great and I enjoyed my food. Imo I'd put it above Pecos Bills, which to me is just super basic nachos and tacos.

I just recently tried skipper canteen too and loved it. The Kongalush is probably my new favorite dessert across all properties. My only complaint was that my partner got the seafood stew and the portion was way too small. But I will definitely go back.
That's my favorite restaurant! The first time I tried the Vietnamese Pho and you could smell the ginger and lemongrass long before the server made it to the table. Sooo good!
I loved Skipper's Cafe! I was a huge fan of the Adventurer's Club, and found more than a bit of that atmoshere there. It had delicious, exotic offerings. I, an omnivore on a budget, and my cousin, a vegan, had good choices that we both enjoyed. And, make sure you look closely at the bookshelves between the front and back dining rooms. Hysterical! The waitstaff will have fun engaging with customers with a little encouragement, with a bit of that Jungle Boat humor.
Yay, Liberty Tree!! When I was a cast member it was one of the first locations I worked and one of the first restaurants I ate at. So many wonderful memories. Heart broken to hear the characters are gone.
Least Favorite: Mickey Mouse shapes soft pretzel. They use wheat flour. It’s just not as good as the white flour we are used to.
Favorite: cosmic rays starlight cafe. Their BBQ pulled pork bacon cheese burger is good. Plus with their toppings bar I can add as much sautéed mushrooms and jalapeños that I want.
It's so true that Casey's has limited seating but my fiance and I love it! We always choose to go sit on the turf with our trays because almost no one thinks of it and we always have a great view of the parade from there!
Cosmic Ray's is hands down one of my favorite places to eat at Disney! it's affordable with good portions. I'd say with the half chicken it's a good deal. (plus Sonny is fantastic)

Disagree with you on Be Our Guest. Each Time I have eaten there it has been a fabulous dinner. This selections are varied and each and every item on the menu is scrumptious. I absolutely recommend the grey stuff (it’s delicious...)! I did not like their breakfast or their lunch. I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding liberty tree Tavern. I make it a point of always eating there or each trip. The food is consistently fabulous and the service is very good also.

Columba Harbor House has a place in my heart from my childhood when I first saw mickey shaped butter. LOVED it, and I love it still. Best for me :-D
Everyone remembers their first Mickey shaped butter!! I remember seeing it at the restaurant in the Land -- now it's Garden Grill, but I honestly can't remember the name back in the 80s. I need to google it!

I love that you mentioned Casey's Corner. I oversaw the rehab from Refreshment Corner to Casey's Corner when I was a manager on Main Street in the mid 1990's. I still remember all aspects of that rehab and the location remains close to my heart while I was working at Disney.
I totally agree with your opinion some of these really lack the Disney factor.
My partner and I went to Cinderella’s Royal Palace for Valentines Day when we were there in 2014 and it was hands down our best meal at Disney World. It was such a fantastic experience. Also we were able to get into Be Our Guest for lunch without a prior reservation because our hotel got us a spot there somehow. It was an awesome trip.
Also coming from Australia, the prices everywhere at Disney World we’re pretty reasonable, basically the same we’d pay at home. I think we payed $60 each for the Royal Palace which was outstanding for what we got.

My aunt used to work at Liberty Tree (she works at Crystal Palace now), so it had a special place in my heart. So does Pinocchios even though it’s not very high on the list (it was one of the few things my then 2 year old nephew would eat on his first trip, lol).

I really liked Tony’s the last time we were in Magic Kingdom! The food was good and we got a table outside to watch a parade so that was a plus. Also, I think it is one of the few places to get beer! Very necessary on a hot afternoon! 😉
