Hi, I hope you're well 😊, I have oily acne prone skin and I do agree that The Face Theory toner is hydrating but overall The Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Toner is the most hydrating also contains amazing ingredients like niacinamide and Adenosine and other soothing ingredients only toner i will repurchase 💜

Dr Dray is really enjoying a toner from first aid beauty. It’s hydrating and calming. You should try it. She is super picky with these kind of products so if she likes it, it means a lot! I will
Also try your recommendations, I want to try the Cosrx!

Thank you for the video, Rob! I've just purchased last week the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner and loving it! Very simple composition, absorbes really well and leaves your skin super hydrated (my skin is very oily). And the packing is beautiful!

Toners per se (yup, I read latin) can range from useless to a kind of watery serum.
My first experience of hydrating "toners" was with Shiseido's "softening lotions" back when you all where zygots (yeah, I'm your daddy, but I don't look it!).
They were very hydrating and were advised to be splashed on instead of using a cotton round.
    Sounds like an essence, right?.
Well I was 17 and had to order them from this drag queen, Lady Jane, who worked the Bloomingdales Shiseido counter *through contacts*.
You all just keep appropriating my coming of age.
    LOVE YOU ! ! !

It's my lucky day, two videos from Rob🤗 I sound like a broken record, but the SubQ mist was a huge game changer for me. I try to keep two bottles for back up at all times. I use is several times in my skincare routine, right after cleansing, and after I apply niacinamide.. Then use it in the afternoon if my skin is looking parched. I would take a bath in it if I could afford it😂😂😂

Yessss! My favorite topic. Have been toner mad lately--specifically loving the Hada Labo Goku-Jun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist, but it also comes in a "light" version . J Beauty has a lot of great fragrance-free options, but they aren't all cruelty free (or it can be hard to tell if they are). Another favorite of mine is the Purito Unscented Centella Toner. Keep thinking of more, haha--I also want to try the SANA soy milk moisture toner.

I LOVE the CosRx toner, although I would barely call it a toner--it goes on like water and does have centella for a nice calming effect but it's really just for moistening the face between steps in your routine. But it's excellent and soothing. I love the SubQ mist and use it daily. The Isntree is gorgeous. I also love the Purito Fermented Complex 94 Boosting Essence and the I'm From Rice Toner. The fermented ingredients are so nourishing for the skin and barrier protection. Two really nice toner/essences with a thicker more hydrating consistency are the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner and the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner. Super soothing and hydrating. I'm not big on "natural" or "botanical" products generally but another really nice spray is the Sioris Time is Running Out Mist. Very light, hydrating and soothing. I'm still planning to order the Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration, but I haven't put in another order with them yet (going to re-order the aPad and the A-Game). Okay, I might have a little problem when it comes to toners and essences but I just love them and the way they make my skin feel.

I love toners! Especially Korean. But one of them actually surprisingly stood out in my opinion: the Aprilskin Toner. I actually physically feel the change after applying it. It gives skin immediate velvety smoothness that is so pleasant to the touch. Usually I like to go through toners fast to be able to try yet another one : )But this one...I'll miss it. But my next ones to try are Haru Haru and Beaty of Joseong. Thank you for yet another great video! : ) Much love! 💛

I know I recommended this before, but the Tia’m Vita B5 toner on YesStyle is soooo good! It has a lot of panthenol, a peptide, and a few different ferment extracts! My skin feels immediately soothes when I use it. The isntree green tea toner is more suitable more for oily skin. if you are someone who has combo and sensitive skin, this toner is not for you. personally it dries me out and irritated my skin, most especially if you're using tret along side with it. perhaps due (Oenothera Biennis Flower Extract) astringent in its ingredients.

When i added the subq mist to my cart on blackfriday i was quite reluctant but i've heard so many good reviews, i was too curious and i don't regret it; i am not a fan of mists because, from what i've tried(mostly thermal water), they take a long time to dry and i feel like they make my routine last too long buuuut the subq mist dries so fast, i was amazed and it even made my lips feel hydrated

You know I love the hylamide SubQ mist... I’ve also used the CosRx centella toner in the past and I think you are really going to like it. It really helped my skin when I was having a lot of irritation. Another one that I think deserves a mention is the first aid beauty wild oat toner... I know that FAB is not totally cruelty free, but their toner was in my opinion, better than the CosRx at calming irritation... great video overall, and great recommendations.

I have dry skin and find that my skin needs some hydration more than just the morning moisturizer. Is it okay to spray on a toner on top of my spf during the day ?
By the way, love the colour of that hoodie on you! Gorgeous!

Hi rob I love a hydrating toner and/or essence for my skin. I'm super dry (lack of oil), but also really dehydrated due to my impaired skin barrier from the rosacea and eczema. I layer up toner in at least 3 layers under serums, followed by the rest of my routine. The only treatment toner i use is the Inkey List PHA, the others are all about hydrating and soothing the skin. Of those mentioned I like the geek and gorgeous nmf and panthenol toner. A few others I love for my hypersensitive skin are:
    Soon jung toner
    Cosrx propolis toner
Cosrx cica toner (the updated version of the one shown - without the spritz)
    Aqulabo kombucha toner
    Aqulabo jelly mist
    Pyunkang Yul essence/toner
    T'iam vita b5 toner
Kosmetic Immunity beta glucan spray toner
Laneige cream skin refiner and the slightly lighter mist version
    First aid beauty oat toner
All of these are fragrance free and very hydrating, but the one with the most moisture is the laneige cream skin. I hope that helps other with very sensitive skin, but as always advise patch testing prior to use. Many are available in travel sizes, which allows you to test re sensitivity/performance without buying the full size first. Best wishes.
ps The altruist face fluid arrived today and I have patch tested for over 12 hours behind my ear. Tomorrow I'll try on my face and let you know Rob how I get on with it. No evidence of any irritation at all on the patch test - so fingers crossed. The canmake I found quite drying and it can make me a little more red at the end of the day. It's not full blown irritation, but I think repeated use could become so. I am very zinc sensitive though and always feel dry with mineral spf's (the canmake is a combination of filters), so that may be the issue. it's certainly not the worst i've tried. x

The Isntree Green Tea toner is recommended for normal to oily skin on all the websites - not for dry skin...?...?
My hold grail toner is the Isntree HA toner plus (in the blue bottle)🙂

What's up bro I have a question so I have been using Niacinamide And Azelaic Acid for about 2 weeks and a few days but I'm not really seeing a difference my cheeks are still red and my skin tone is still uneven so I ask should I continue being patient with it and give it more time or should I try something else?

@@MadAboutSkin Ok thank you I appreciate the comment, is this skin care routine affective?
My main focus is getting even skin tone I have a few products for it I have the Niacinamide + zinc, Azelaic Acid, Lactic Acid 10% +HA, Amino Acids B5, Granactice retinoid emulsion 2 percent. But I've mainly been using the Niacinamide and Azelaic acid.
My skin care routine is this.
      1. Cleanse
      2. Niacinamide
      3. Azelaic Acid
      4. Eucirin Intensive repair lotion.
And I take a few vitamin c and e supplements is this a good skin care method?
