Thank you for sharing your finds. I remember when I first found your channel, I watched your first video and couldn't turn you off again 😆 I binge watched your videos all at once!
One of my favorites I've seen in ages! Love the vintage so much! Wish I found a haul like that every day, I would be ridiculously happy😍😄❤ I wanted everything!!
Omg I see similar bracelets, cufflink, all kinds of jewelry with those faces. Some websites say it's green onxy. Your bracelets are Aztec Mayan. You have a great piece of history. Please research them. They look like museum quality. Just lovely
Your earlier broken broch with the white stones goes with the gold broken piece. I like your slow close ups and soft voiced banter. Some move to fast and are to far away to truly see the jewelry.
thank you and hello 👋🏻 Australia 🇦🇺! If your interested in purchasing any items not listed in my stores you can certainly email me at hellokitty40@gmail.com
Thanks for showing the cleaned up jewelry! Polly Bergen was an actress who must have had a jewelry line at some point. Nina Ricci makes perfume (and jewelry!). Love your videos!
I was watching an old unbagging yesterday, jonesin' for a new video. Yay!!!! And such great stuff! That flower clipon with the ab finish is stunning. I'll have to keep watching to see if you found the other, I couldn't wait until the end to comment lol
This is what I found on Pauline Rader - designer of the highest level, whose works are rare and collectible. Pauline grew up in a family of jeweler, and from childhood was keen on family affair. About her personal life is known that the designer was happily married and gave birth to three children. Her brand was opened in 1962, and Pauline Rader began making fantastic decorations in a variety of styles. She was very fond of lions, tigers, insects and turtles, although that did not prevent her to create classic decorations. As a young, Madame Ryder specialized in the art of ancient Greece and Rome, many of her decorations are made in the Etruscan style, or in the style of ancient jewelry. In 1982, the brand ceased to exist. However, in 2009, the heirs (eldest grandson) on the numerous requests of fans of her decorations, released limited edition works of Pauline Ryder. These jewellery pieces were made using the old cliche - but without markings. And the series of heirs was prized by collectors no less than lifetime creations.
I have been collecting "hands" of many sizes & holding different items. Have not seen the black one you have....it's very nice...love your videos!!!👍👍👍
Hi there, I had a belt buckle similar to that one you have there, it was on my belt I was given when I was a nurse, my matron made me change it for a stanless steal, one, she was worried that the stones might come out of it when I was dealing with the patients, I can understand her reason I wasn't upset about changing, I put it on my other belt I used to keep my jeans uo lol 😀
Nice finds !! That’s great Nina Ricci , did some work for Avon, and her designs on her own can go for a good price I believe ... Park lane brooch very nice ... lots of cool pieces !
At 26:38 is an elephant pendant. Hold it up to a very strong light, and if you see cross-hatch marks, or lines, it may be vintage ivory. At 45:03 the clip on earring says Kirk's Folly. They usually make fantasy jewelry, so this fairly understated earring seems a little different for them. Unless the back was used as a repair?
About the brooch at 56:47 - look on the pin itself for marks. I see what might be a mark next to the hinge. I also saw what might be a stamp on the second Edwardian brooch, and the back. Looks like a circle with perhaps a mark inside.
I looked all over the brooch i couldn’t find anything in it . also checked other brooches and i did see 2 circles but nothing that would indicate a marking . Would be awesome if they did . still love them 💕. thanks for watching and commenting. 🥰
I know , breaks my heart , i’m sure they could be replaced some how ? I have to look at those earrings again i didn’t see markings .!! thanks for watching :)
I'll share with you something I shared on Thelma's channel... When a gemstone is sold as marcasite you can be quite sure that it is actually pyrite. That is because Marcasite has an unstable orthorhombic crystal structure and is liable to crumble and break apart and in some cases, will react with moisture in the air to produce sulfuric acid. For these reasons marcasite is NEVER used in jewelry.
Those flowers your getting like the blue brooch is a popular flower it’s the same as in Disney Alice in wonderland animated movie I can’t remember what it is called
I have a tiny 18 K Gold bar pin similar to the one you pulled out ay 33. It was given to me as a child. I thought it was a Victorian mourning pin. I would love to know what you find out.
Those cuff brackets are Aztec! I found a necklace with the Aztec face made out of Jade! So cool! And those two Brooches with the hand! I have never seen anything like them! Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing Sally!
Oh my! That singing cat pendant just sent me into cuteness overload!!! How adorable! I have a question for you. See the milk glass and rhinestone necklace you showed (which is absolutely stunning!), how would you clean a piece like that? I think someone told me once, you're not meant to use water on (vintage?) rhinestones as it will make them darken?
@@VintageDiscoveries I have some old Victorian pendants. I read up on them. They use to put gold foil behind real gemstones. But not all in silver or gold. Also, they used real diamonds in jewelry that didn't always look real, such as sterling silver. But the cuts of the diamonds were cuts we rarely see now. They're chunkier looking. I'm sure you have many real diamonds!
was it the necklace? i have to see if i have it still . i don’t remember listing it so it may be still here unless it was in a craft lot . i’ll let u know asap .
sure ! thanks for watching! the links are in my ABOUT section on my youtube channel , i’ll post them here also etsy.me/2TnAGnR ebay.com/usr/vintagediscoveriessally
Just Palmolive dish soap and vinegar n water , but i don’t use vinegar if there are foiled back rhinestones , the vinegar will damage the foil backing that gives the rhinestone its sparkle .
nice discoveries, you obviously resell them, but from every video of yours i get a feeling the 80 % of this stuff you don't know the era, no knowledge of the designers for the pieces that are signed, differences between glass pearls and freshwater ones, and even gemstones, which is a shame, because I recognized a few treasures there that you probably aren't aware that you have in your possession. do the research so you don't sell your pieces cheap. Nina Ricci, for example, is a famous Italian - french designer.
Stunning jewellery pieces, thank you for sharing 👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Loved you showing what you like and cleaned up. Really enjoy watching your videos and listening to your calm voice.

The inverted C's (shoe clips) made me think of the Chanel Logo. Thanks again for the wonderful videos Sally.
Great unique jewelry. Well maintained brooches. Just lovely.

The piece after the pin with the piano is a shirt stud, I think. For fancy dress shirts without buttons, like a tuxedo shirt
Lovely to see you back Sally... I missed you... blessings.💖

Those were some nice pieces! And in great shape!

I have a matching pendant to those Mexico face bracelets and have no idea to with it...
The gray cuff links and the button thingy could be a tuxedo set.
Earring is 'Kirk's Folly.'

I'll share with you something I shared on Thelma's channel...
