You have fantastic nature pictures! The ones with your cats are fantastic! Also the frozen fog, wow! I would like to walk down Santa Claus Lane. The delights we would find! Happy stitching, Lori! ❤
With all that snow it looks like you live Down Santa Claus Lane, in the North Pole! What glorious vistas you have surrounding you! Thank you for sharing all that beauty, along with your lovely wips and stitchy goodies. Last but certainly not least, your fur babies are precious! Stay warm! Hugs! 🩵❄️⛄️ 🪡
Hi Lori, I'm so glad that you are feeling better! It's too bad that your son is now sick. I hope he recovers soon! I love seeing your stitching and acquisitions. It would be great to stitch from Down Santa Claus Lane.❤
I love vintage santas❤ Down Santa Claus Lane. ❤ I want a Basketfull of Winter Time ❤ Great seeing you and you have a great week ahead and stay warm ❤ Congratulations to all the receivers of the gifts❤.
So good to see you again. I loved the beautiful winter photography that you shared. The Down Santa Claus Lane has some wonderful vintage patterns. I hope you get lots of warm and cozy stitching time!
As always I love your charts and the things you stitch! The collections in older books are so interesting. It’s like a little history books. I love all things old and vintage looking. I enjoy the cross stitch world…. I sure hope the freezing rain and snow ❄️ gives us a brake soon…
Me too! I love the snow when its just snow, but we’ve had sleet and freezing rain for a couple days now. Everything is solid ice. Yuck! A warming trend is suppose to show up tomorrow and I’m looking forward to it.
Down Santa Claus Lane is a delightful book. I so enjoy your photos of snow. We just have non stop rain which is easier to drive in, but it never fills me with wonderment. Happy stitching.
I look forward to your videos, you are so inspiring, not to mention friendly and welcoming. I too love the old world Santa’s, I am of British and German descent, we love the originals in all things. Down Santa Claus Lane has so many that I would love to stitch. Thank you for sharing your beautiful stitches.
I am definitely taking a stroll Down Santa Claus Lane this year. My goal is to have a tree full of prim stitched Santas in 2024. I am really enjoying seeing all of the Winter beauty all around you. Happy Stitching ❄❄❄.
Hi Lori, great to have you back..phenomenal photos you have been sharing of your wonderful world ❄️♥️ Lovely video, wish you well with your plans & new way of journaling. Fantastic acquisitions..🤩 Take care, hugs from MN🤗🥰
Love all the beautiful pictures, lots of snow. Your kitties are so adorable too. I always enjoy going down Santa Claus lane. I’m also doing the Raven quilt, had started it a few years back, so I’m glad Olivia B got me going again. I always enjoy watching your videos and I hope your son feels better soon!!
So much wonderful stitching as usual, but the views in the video at the end are SPECTACULAR!!! We've had more snow here in Missouri than recent years, but yours...OH MY!!! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing your projects and plans. You have some beautiful finishes coming your way. Down Santa Claus Lane is a beautiful book. Your closing video is breathtaking!
I’m so sorry to hear about your little one. I still choke up and get a tingly nose when I think of my last precious girl Shmo kitty who has been gone almost 20 years now. They never leave your heart do they?
Another lovely podcast and wow, thx for the images in the snow. I have never heard of frozen fog and it’s stunning! ❄️ I would love to see some progress as you work on the peppermint and holly quilt! Down Santa Claus lane 😊
Down Santa Claus Lane is one of the few books in this series that I don’t have and I truly LOVE these books. Thank you for sharing your plans and organization methods!
Gorgeous scenery!!! Beautiful projects and I love the collection of books! Down Santa Claus Lane is wonderful. Love the information card idea! Take care!
Lori I love watching your videos so much amazing content and beautiful projects. i would love Down Santa Claus Lane, it is has so many amazing projects I enjoyed seeing your pics I love the ones with the kittens watching the snow. Thanks for sharing your love of needlework...
Down Santa Claus Lane… I wanted to make sure I wrote it correctly 😁 I started recollecting these books, at least the cross stitch ones. It’s entertaining looking at the fashions and hair styles from my past. I enjoy seeing your stitching and hearing your plans.
Hello, Saturday afternoon stitching and watching your video is a lovely combination!! I can't decide what is better to see, your beautiful stitching or the beautiful winter scenery ❄️🏔️❄️... Looks like you are still enjoying the slow winter days🕯️ (I sent you an email a couple weeks ago with a couple pictures of quilts).
I’m watching you early this morning as I stitch on The Cricket Collection’s Winter…as it’s cold in the mountains in North Carolina! I think it would be such fun to walk down Santa Claus Lane in the winter! I love the beautiful patterns and will be looking for other publications! I thoroughly enjoyed watching and like the variety of projects you showed!! Stay safe and warm!
Down Santa Claus Lane looks like a great book to have in my collection. Thanks for sharing, Lori. The pictures at the end of the video were beautiful. Love kitty looking out the window at the snow too. I am in Michigan, and we have had about 30 inches in the last week. We have a lot of blue spruce trees in our yard, and I love when the snow stays on them. Temperatures are supposed to be in the higher thirties by the end of the week, but it's supposed to rain then too. Take care. ❤❄🌲
I bet that is gorgeous! We have blue spruce here, but its at a higher elevation and I don’t see many of them. The snow looks fantastic on the Ponderosas and Juniper though.
I’m so sorry to hear your son has Covid! I wish him a speedy recovery. Thanks for another great flosstube! I love taking a trip Down Santa Claus Lane! 🤞
My Porch Prints makes such cute images and papers. I just purchases Winter Woodland a couple weeks ago and am also creating my own book for recording projects. Thank you for the snow pictures! Breathtaking.
Hi Lori, I was so happy when the notification popped up for your new video! Your outside footage at the end was amazing! You have such gorgeous views! I love the Sisters area. I think your cards are a great idea to keep progress and info of all your projects. Thank you for the enabling from Hobby House, I had to order that Stacy Nash chart too🙄😂 I have not seen it before. Love seeing your WIPS and progress. Thank you for your time and sharing your projects. Stay warm!
Hard core French General fan here! Love the FG sampler and cannot wait to see it FFO’d. I will always take a trip Down Santa Claus Lane! Stay safe and warm and hope your son gets well soon
Down Santa Claus Lane sure looks like a good cross stitch book. Sometimes the older books have precious designs. Glad you are working on Winter Rose Manor. I am getting close to a finish on mine! With this cold weather I am getting extra stitchy time in😀.
I have started collecting The spirit of Christmas books at the thrift stores too!! I would love to add Down Santa Claus Lane to my collection! Really enjoy your Flosstube videos and your stitching ! Stay warm. I’m so ready for spring here in Texas!! ❤❤
Lori your video of where you live is absolutely amazing! I love winter and the beauty the snow makes. I also have a few of the books but do not own Down Santa Clause Lane. They are so fun to look at and have some of the most beautiful designs. Loving your idea for the project cards and journal!
Beautiful winter scenery surrounding your home….such views! And I love the snow with crystals…..that’s what it looks like to me……raw sugar on white fluffy mounds of snow. ❤
Thank you for the beautiful winter scenes. We have plenty of snow in Ohio but nothing so magical. I just started Merry Xmas Pinkeep the other day too. Sort of stretching the season out. The girls are always so sweet looking asleep, especially by the fire. Happy Stitching and Creating!
They do look sweet when there asleep … a “most” of the time when they’re awake. ☺️ I think they are good and tired of being cooped up by the snow though. Happy Stitching!
Enjoyed watching! Great ideas for tracking progress and projects. I will follow along your quilting progress on Peppermint and Holly. Such a beautiful quilt! Take care and happy stitching! I would love to add Down Santa Claus Lane to my collection of that series.
I really wish we lived closer as I always love what you are working on or have added to your collection. I attended the retreat at Hobby House and received the StacyNash as the crow flies kit. I’m a little jealous that you were able to get the spool - I have both Mary Alcorn patterns but couldn’t get the scissor holder as a kit only a pattern. Another great floss tube. Thank you for sharing because I know how much work it takes.
Your organization cards are perfect. I lose my floss so much & go buy a new skein, then find the old one. So, I now keep a log as to what project it's in, it does help. Great progress on your stitches. The kitties look so cute watching the snow, threy 're like......Mom! What is that? We have about 10" of snow here in WI, & below zero temps for a week now. The snow isn't going anywhere! It's beautiful where you live. Marilyn
Just love that My Dear Sister design! Love it!! But there's not much you do that I don't love LOL. Down Santa Claus Lane would be grand. Thanks for sharing your beautiful scenery with us. Such a stunning view you have and the frosty weather is like adding diamonds to the view. Also love seeing the adorable kitties. We had a Northeaster come through here and have about 8" of snow from yesterday into today. I love snow, but not driving in it. Since I'm still working, it is bad news LOL. Well, stay warm my stitchy friend! Hugs to you and pets to the kitties from NE Ohio.
Yes, driving in it can be a pain. Red Jeep makes it fun for me, but I don’t like the ice which is what it is here right now. I’ve been keeping the hearth fires burning and the kitties warm. I ran out of their favorite nom (chicken soup), so it looks like a trip into town is in order. Trying to hold off one more day and a warm front should be here tomorrow. Take care and drive safe Chris!!!
Haven’t seen you for a while. Hope all is well. That you haven’t gotten snowed on or washed away but also that your health is good. You seemed still a bit under the weather. Stay warm!
Lori I am interested in everything you do! I love to knit also but I have alot of kitty inteteste which makes it hard. Your pictures are gorgeous. What fun there is to go down santa clause land! Thank you for sharing! Stay warm! How the kittens like the snow!😂❤
Fi almost always behaves like a little lady, but Izzy full blast into anything that looks fun. She knows better, but doesn’t always listen. 😂. Love them both to pieces anyway. We’re just learning how to manage it together.
I love the idea of using a 3x6 card to track your projects, I saw cards online that were library check out cards, remember the ones that were under the front book cover, they were set up for projects. Nifty idea... I have picked up my work and discovered a miscount when I thought I had been so careful, it looked perfect to the naked eye, I will be fudging it, anyone would have to look hard to spot it. Your "Roses for Ruby" is so much prettier than the pattern photo... Down Santa Clause Lane
Thank you! It’s usually projects I started from way back when. I’ve developed some tricks to assist in matching borders, so it doesn’t happen very often now. I’ve learned so much!
Beautiful photography! I always love to see what you are stitching on. I hope to finish Winter Rose Manor, Christmas Garden, and Noel Sampler this year. I have too many WIPs! I could and just may stitch Christmas all year long this year. I used index cards for several years similar to how you are using them. It was very helpful in tracking down specific threads.
Your amazing vistas down Santa Claus Lane were breath taking. I'd be interested in following your Peppermint and Holly quilt process, hopefully French General 🙂 I use starch turn applique method and have bins of French General 😂❤
Yay! I’ll probably use a combination of methods. I used to use the starch method too, but have found the apliquick to be easier and faster. Having said that, I use what ever method lends itself to the best result in any given project. One vote for French General!!
Very much enjoyed your video. I just finished one Santa in the Santa Remembered book and started a second one. Love those patterns. Hope you have a great week.
I also collect the spirit of Christmas books! Marci and I got the very first one years ago, then I lost all mine in my divorce 😥but have re-collected from thrift shops. Did you know they made later ones in paper back? I saw two this Christmas at my thrift but they didn’t call to me. They just seemed different. BUT… I do not have down Santa Claus lane!!! lol. I do have a couple of the Christmas remembered. I really miss the days of special Christmas books and magazines. I used to spend hours studying them. Pics on the internet now just are not the same. Hope you are feeling better and staying warm! We’ve had quite a cold spell here. I can’t wait to see my next gas bill!😫
Ugh, not looking forward to my electric bill, but I do keep it supplemented with the wood stove. Such a warm, cozy heat. My wood pile has been seriously depleted and probably will run out by the end of the month. 😞. I’m so sorry you lost your collection. I didn’t know they published them in paperback! Best of luck on the draw!
Love the idea of your project cards. Will you share your format, please. I would like to keep them in a recipe box. We have a plentiful basket full of wintertime here in Ohio. Stay safe and continue to share.
Down Santa Claus Lane is a lovely book! I found Merry Christmas ABC at the thrift store yesterday and it has some darling snowmen. Enjoyable video full of inspiration!
Down Santa Claus lane looks wonderful!! I have one called merry Christmas abc by leisure arts as well as some of the spirit of Christmas books. I May need to stitch something in it now.
Love, love, loved it! Thanks for another inspiring and informative Floss Tube. Loved seeing all of the snow covered scenery. And the kitties of course. XO @cbellsew
Your Flosstube was like a warm hug this past weekend when I was sick. Enjoyed every minute! ♥️

Enabling is what I do best!
Down Santa Claus Lane is a delightful book. I so enjoy your photos of snow. We just have non stop rain which is easier to drive in, but it never fills me with wonderment. Happy stitching.
When I lived in Olympia, it seemed like non-stop rain in the winter. I don’t miss winter rain at all!
I look forward to your videos, you are so inspiring, not to mention friendly and welcoming. I too love the old world Santa’s, I am of British and German descent, we love the originals in all things. Down Santa Claus Lane… I wanted to make sure I wrote it correctly 😁 I started recollecting these books, at least the cross stitch ones. It’s entertaining looking at the fashions and hair styles from my past. I enjoy seeing your stitching and hearing your plans.
They sure are entertaining, and we thought they were so cool back then! 😂
Hello, Saturday afternoon stitching and watching your video is a lovely combination!! I can't decide what is better to see, your beautiful stitching or the beautiful winter scenery ❄️🏔️❄️... Looks like you are still enjoying the slow winter days🕯️
(I sent you an email a couple weeks ago with a couple pictures of quilts).
June!!! I saw those and completely got sidetracked before responding. They are beautiful!
@@texstylust thank you 😊
I’m watching you early this morning as I stitch on The Cricket Collection’s Winter…as it’s cold in the mountains in North Carolina! I have not made a stand up yet. Oh😍😍😍 love the patriotic ornaments! Down Santa Claus Lane
Would love having “Down Santa Claus Lane”.

They’re awesome, aren’t they?
Down Santa Claus Lane would make my day!
Gorgeous to see your photos and videos! I did not know fog froze, wow!
I’ve seen it call hoar frost as well, but this is something beyond that. It is really amazing.

The book Down Santa Claus Lane is amazing! I love your videos! The projects sound amazing to keep track of WIPS.
Thank you!
Very much enjoyed your video. I just finished one Santa in the Santa Remembered book and started a second one. Love those patterns. Hope you have a great week.
How awesome Jen! Great to hear from you. I hope you post them on your IG so I can see them!
I may share them in the future, but not quite yet. They’re still in beta. ☺️
Down Santa Claus Lane is a lovely book! I found Merry Christmas ABC at the thrift store yesterday and it has some darling snowmen. Enjoyable video full of inspiration!
