The way i visibly gasped when you put the oobsidian into the reconstitutooter
I absolutely LOVE Ooblets (have played it all the way through at least 4 times now) and am glad someone gave it the due it deserves and played the whole game! You did good, but I feel like you missed a few opportunities, too. I know you didn't show everything, but building friendships with the villagers nets you LOTS of good stuff, like gummies, bean juice and bunglebee buns. I have tons of money in my main playthrough and get it all from friendship building. More ooblets and oobcoops really make farm life much easier. Once you have gleamy ooblets running around, or working on your farm you get tons of oobsidian. After you solve the main mystery and no longer have cans around, reconstooting oobsidian is almost necessary because you get so much of it. Oh, and developing the wild lands to level 10 gets you a nurny rock that you can hit as long as you have energy and get tons of nurnies. I wish I could show you my main playthrough. I have at least 50 level 5 oobcoops. All I have to do is drop off the seeds and they plant, water, pick and keep the stuff warm if it's winter. I just run through the farm and pick stuff every day. Anyway, thanks again for giving Ooblets a real chance. :)
100%, this video was awesome and there's so much more to the game
I left a lot of the relationship building out but I did a lot of that! It definitely got to a point where I had more beanjuice than I knew what to do with it! Now with the main story done I wanna go back and really develop my farm for sure!

incredibly fun video!! i am so so happy you managed to cover the entire quest line in such a funny, well-timed (not too short, not too long) manner, and you truly made me wish i could try this game out!! i only saw the beginning of this game in a few playthroughs, but i never saw anyone get to the end!! and the drawings when you forgot to record were top tier :3
As someone who religiously read Tumblr in 2014, this sounds like the accumulation of my identity in a game! 😭Your reviews are always incredible and hilarious. The graphics did not endear me at first but looking at the gameplay I really want to buy this game now!

i’m glad to finally see an ooblets video:’) i’ve had it since maybe 2021 and tbh ive never finished the game LMAO but i love playing it so much. its so relaxing and there’s always something to do. the music is also always good. i always thought it deserved more love !
I just want you to know that I've watched this more than once because its so entertaining lol. Also, I need this game. The dance battling originally turned me away but there is so much more than I thought!

omg i love this game- one of my favorites ! it reminds me of a mix of stardew and pokemon but with such silly battles its cute and i need cute things in my life!!

Thank you for this video it was wonderful, I laughed so much and so loud that my wife kept coming over to see what I was watching . Lmao I loved this game so much I got it on Switch and Steam. It's so cute and so funny. I agree, I wish the later dance battles were harder, but also it's worth noting that Shrumbo has some of the beefiest signature moves (was also my starter because mushroom omg). If you're trying to level up a bunch of different ooblets or ones that aren't a mascot of the 4 clubs it makes it much trickier. If you ever feel like replaying it I highly recommend building friendship and completing the other quests. The dialog does change some and you get great rewards. People will start giving you 200-300 gummies per level plus beanjuice and food.
Okay I definitely did start to feel like shrumbo was OP... And to that credit the one time I lost was when I pointedly was avoiding using him for that reason!
Your game review era is just *chef's kiss*, EJ. I realized early on that Ooblets wasn't the game for me, but I enjoyed how YOU played it and explained it. Bravo.
